Len was the best guide we have ever had. And Sokin was great, too. We felt lucky to have such great guides, although we loved the time we didn't have a guide, too.
Hotel Reviews
The hotel does its best to be a very nice place. The place feels like it needs updating.
Beautiful hotel but we felt stranded in the middle of nowhere. It was really a way of breaking up the drive but I wish we had stayed 1 night instead of 2.
Activity Reviews

We did this on our own and it was entertaining but very hot.

Completely and utterly amazing. We were there on the summer solstice and it was HOT but amazing. Sokin is a great guide.

We really didn't like the food. Fancy shmancy with tiny serving sizes. Not my cup of tea.

This was fine. It costs $8 each and we paid for our own drinks and walked from our hotel, so I'm not sure why we signed up in advance. There are many options.

Sokin is a great tour guide.

Sokin is a great guide.

The basket weaving itself and the firehouse ants were interesting, but our guide talked the entire time in Khmer with the hosts and didn't translate very often, leaving us just watching. We felt like spectators.

This would have been really fun if we hadn't boiled on the bike. We made it for a couple of hours and then switched to a car, which was gloriously following us. I imagine we were not the first to not want to die of heat stroke. The stops were interesting insights into rural Cambodian life.

Len is an amazing tour guide and this is an amazing place.

Udong was an interesting place to visit. Len walked us up to the temple and through the market, which was awe inspiring.

Inspiring

This place was fine. I wouldn't want to return.

Pretty cool to see a temple from the year 657 if I remember correctly. Pretty run down but that's to be expected in the countryside.

We loved the circus

Not a fan of the food.

This is a glorification of French colonialism. We left half way through the trip and tipped the tuk tuk driver who was not at fault for the content of the ipads and the blah blah about architecture from a French perspective without once acknowledging the cost to Cambodians of the French occupation. We complained and we were only given reasons why they offer this tour. Skip it.

The Made in Cambodia market was great. We ended up going there twice on our own. The Satcha market is super fancy and overpriced, but you get to see artisans at work. I guess if you have unlimited funds then you would get the nicest crafts there.

Fun to see the sights by Cyclo. We also visited Wat Phenom, which was great.

We loved visiting the pottery place. The family was interactive and super fun. And we were with Sokin who translated everything. It was great.

We stayed a very short time to see a traditional Khmer house and hear some family history.

Holy long day of touring! This was completely amazing and completely exhausting! Come rested and enjoy every stop!

We kept hearing about the bamboo train and it didn't disappoint.

Mind blown.

This adventure to a floating village is not for the faint of heart. I found it very challenging but it's one of the experiences I think about most often now that I'm home. Crazy to see 500 families living in floating homes. The river is their life and the sanitation made me woozy. I didn't eat a thing that was served since there was no clean water or soap in the vicinity, but it was eye opening, to say the least.

We loved our dinner at Spoons. It was delicious and the staff was great. What a great organization!

We loved our dinner at HAVEN. It was delicious and the staff was great. What a great organization! We went back on our free night and wish we had gone there again rather than going to Chempey.

Sokin is a great guide. This is a beautiful temple even though we were pretty templed-out by this time.

Not my cup of tea. Beautiful place but the food is super fancy with tiny portions.

Thank you very much for the detailed feedback. We do appreciate it.
We were delighted to read that Len was your best guide ever. And Sukin also did an excellent job. There are two of our favourite guides who are both very passionate about Cambodia.
We will share the comments about Farmhouse Resort so they can mention to the guide to translate and interact more with the guests. Previous feedback was fine, but it might be a newer guide. In any case, it's good to reinforce they do... Read more
