Cristo De Franceschi
Bonjour à vous !
I'm Cristo, a French traveler cherishing his country.
I love to build tailor-made experiences for my travelers with the goal of offering unforgettable moments and a true discovery. I am passionate about nature-based experiences, adventure travel, and high-value-added itineraries. I like to propose original activities and accommodations to surprise my travelers with an authentic, tailor-made trip.
I have been working in the tourism sector for many years. First, in a tourism management organization in the south-east of France, my home region. Then, in a receptive agency, as a travel adviser for French people, in Costa Rica and Spain. Today, I'm also a fervent supporter of sustainable tourism as a coach & auditor for the label Travelife.
My vision: traveling is the best way to discover the beauty of the world, and France is a must-see destination offering a wide variety of landscapes, cultural sites, and local specialties. An excellent playground to design unique trips!
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"We create tailor-made, so the possibilities are endless. Classic stays in Paris, escapades to Normandy, exploration of Provence, adventures in remote areas...
We love to find unique stays such as boutique hotels and B&B, all our local guides are passionate about their job, and we make sure to recommend the best places for a local meal."
How did you get involved in travel?
"I first worked for three years in two different tourism management organizations, where I developed an in-depth knowledge of Provence, the French Riviera, the Alps, and the Rhône Valley. This is my home region, and I master it, but don't worry, I'm also very curious about the rest of France.
Since 2021, I have been working as a travel advisor. I spent three years in Costa Rica and then one year in Spain, always dedicated to the French-speaking market within a travel agency. Since I'm back in France in 2024, I work as a travel specialist for my country of origin.
Thanks to my strong historical and geographical background, I can easily picture and design itineraries across many regions of France. In my free time, I love exploring lesser-known areas to continually improve my ability to craft unique and memorable trips."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"One of my most unforgettable trips was crossing Colombia from the Caribbean coast all the way to Bogotá. During three weeks, I combined different means of transportation and stayed in a variety of accommodations, which allowed me to fully appreciate the richness and diversity of the country. Then I have been in Bolivia for 2 more weeks, here I have discovered incredible landscapes and got out of my comfort zone.
I also have many memories from family trips during my childhood. For example, I have traveled with my father, brother, and sisters to Thailand when I was 13, and explored Réunion Island when I was 15. These experiences taught me how valuable travel can be in building strong and lasting family bonds."
