Audrey did a wonderful job of working with us to plan a memorable trip to France. She was incredibly patient with my suggestions and changes while creating our itinerary. All of the sights we saw were wonderful, memorable, and unforgettable. She chose some towns that I hadn't heard about before and I'm so glad. Her suggestions for activities and sightseeing were perfect. I enjoyed the lodgings she chose. Many were centrally located and we were able to walk to most of our activities and meals. Having breakfast included was perfect. And being picked up at the Orly Airport and taken to the train station was wonderful and so helpful. We've never done that before.
Some small suggestions:
It would have been good to have a little more information about parking availability for our lodging and about toll road cost. Also, for the last two lodgings in Bayeux and Giverny, we ended up staying at a different location and address than was listed on the itinerary, so it was a bit confusing. In hindsight, I would have chosen to drop off our rental car in or near our last stay in Giverny and take the train to Orly Airport. The car return signage at Orly Airport was minimal, small, hard to see, and it took a long time to find the drop off location.

Eexcept on arrival day transport from Airport to Hotel, all other trips where totally totally not as expected. First of all it may be our wrong understanding that transportation to various sight seeing locations are included. Evan driver of Vintage car has not been informed correctly about our hotel location. By the time he understood about our hotel,it was too late. Then he said he will come in the evening. It was nightmare in the evening due to heavy trafic. By the time he took two rounds he said my time is over and he left us in front of Opera. It was originally planed to drop in the Opera area as per moarning program since we had Opera visit was at 11 a.m. to 12.30 am. In the evening he should have dropped us near the hotel it self for which he never agreed. Initially Moulin Rouge Caberet has planed. After making the payment, we have been told that since it was not available, it has been changed to Paradise latin which was not at all a good performance as we expected. Any how we have completed the tour and it was not at all an value for money which we have paid. May be our expectations are very high or we are laking in our understanding. We felt that only tickets to the various sight seeing places have been booked by your side which we could have done our own. Since we wanted some personalized tour was required we have approached you. Regret for having booked the tour.

I'm really sorry to hear that you felt this trip was a disappointing experience. I also want to apologize for not informing the driver-guide about your hotel change — I completely understand how that caused confusion for the city tour.

That said, I think there may have been a few misunderstandings about the services included in the program and the type of support provided during the trip. I'm also sorry if there was any confusion about our location — I did mention in my very first message that we're based in Montpellier, in the south of France, not in Paris.

I totally understand that having a driver-guide throughout the entire stay would have been more comfortable. That could absolutely have been arranged, but it wasn’t part of the proposal I initially shared with you. As a local agency, we specialize in tailor-made trips rather than all-inclusive packages. Of course, daily assistance could have been included, but that would have required a much higher budget, as driver and guide services in France are quite expensive.

Once again, I’m truly sorry the trip didn’t meet your expectations, and I appreciate your feedback — it helps us to improve.

We had an amazing 11 day trip to France. Audrey was an enormous help in planning our itinerary. We spent 5 nights in the Normandy Region, which enabled us to visit Lisieux, the D-Day/World War II Memorials & Beaches, Mont Saint Michel, Eteratat and Honfleur. From there we took the train to Paris and spent 5 more nights. With Audrey’s assistance we enjoyed a cruise on the Sienne and wonderful tours of the Louvre, Monet’s Garden, Versailles, the Montmarte District and even a food tour of the... Read more

I was impressed all around. Lucie with Kimkim organized a fantastic itinerary. She was available for all our questions, she even participated in a WhatsApp Group with everyone on the trip and provided the itinerary highlights every day while we were in France. The local tour guides Lucie selected were fantastic. When something didn't go exactly as planned, the local tour guides and Lucie immediately resolved the situation.
We really appreciated Thomas and Julie in Reims, they were both very knowledgeable about the region, champagnes, grapes, and production.
Our local guides in Bayeux who brought us to Mont St Michelle and the Normandy Beaches knew so much WWII and American history. They brought the history to life for each of us.
We had many guides in Paris and they were each wonderful. I enjoyed the walking tours of Montmartre and Saint Germain, it is the best way to see Paris!

We were in the Au Loup apartments. We loved that each was unique and offered gathering spaces. Breakfast was served at Le Castel, it was a nice 5 minute walk. Some of the drivers got confused about which address they were picking us up at.

We arrived late due to a timing miscommunication. Our drivers quickly resolved it and we ended up with a 3rd Champagne House with a small farmer/producer. We got an abbreviated tour of Moet & Chandon which was still amazing - their cellars are not to be missed! We ran out of time to truly enjoy the tasting experience.

I've never traveled overseas, and KimKim gave me the help and confidence I needed to get past my concerns of traveling internationally (all the unknowns!) in order to make the trip actually happen. Audrey was very helpful and answered many, many questions. I recommend KimKim to first time international travelers especially. Location was great and the room was nice. The apartment was clean. The balcony was cute and such a nice Parisian touch. The location was near a grocery store and subway station. Had some trouble with the dishwasher and the washing machine had a learning curve (the directions provided didn't match the unit). I would recommend this accommodation.

We couldn't find where this tour started. We tried on two different occasions. We spoke with a representative at the address we were given by our travel agent who told us to "walk 15 minutes that way and cross the bridge." We walked for a long time and never found it. It was very disappointing. Never got on a boat. We also couldn't find a schedule to try to time our arrival (not that we could find the boat anyway).

Working with Kim Kim and Lucie was a real pleasure. The bed was very very comfortable and the staff was very nice. The daily breakfast which was included with our stay was excellent!!!!

I would have given it 5 stars, but when we arrive the elevator was out of order and we had climb 5 flights (92 stairs) to get to our room the first night. The room was small, but that is unusual for the type of hotel.. Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Great shower!!!!!!
