I come from a small village in the south of France, surrounded by vineyards and shaped by the quiet rhythm of the land.
A true foodie and a passionate student of oenology, I believe that food and wine are gateways to understanding a place and its people.
Because every journey is unique—and precious—I take great pleasure in sharing my handpicked recommendations, local insights, and little pépites with travelers.
My goal is simple: to help you design a meaningful, seamless experience that reflects who you are, guided by a knowledgeable and trusted French local specialist, and crafted with passion, care, and authenticity.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"I have lived in Paris, Lyon, and the French Alps before settling back in my native South of France. These regions hold no secrets for me, from city streets to mountain trails.
I am committed to crafting authentic journeys finding the perfect balance between must-see landmarks and off-the-beaten-path experiences."
How did you get involved in travel?
"Very early on, my love for travel was born—through nearby escapes as much as journeys across the globe. Yet, it was often at the farthest corners of the world that a simple truth became clear to me: I am deeply in love with my country!
A long-haul backpacker at heart, I have explored distant cultures with curiosity and humility, while continuing to crisscross France, driven by its singular art de vivre. From dramatic coastlines to rolling countryside, from vibrant cities to hidden villages, France reveals an incredible diversity of landscapes, traditions, and stories. And of course, there is the gastronomy—rich, generous, and endlessly inspiring. "
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"Every journey leaves an indelible mark on me — though I will never forget the day a raccoon stole my picnic in Costa Rica!"

The trip to hike along the Brittany coast from Port de le Duc to Saint Malo was a treat. The transfers were mostly flawless. The hotels were nice and well situated Watching the Eiffel tower sparkle through you hotel room window is quite the treat as is listening to the crashing waves on the beach in Dinard. The only feedback that would keep it from a 5 star was no map was provided for the route the travel adviser expected us to take. Perhaps I should have done that ahead of time instead of spending 45 minutes to an hour each evening reviewing the route and finding the location of the hotel etc etc. Once there was a surprise but it was sorted out and a great alternative was found. The written description of the route, the time estimates and the location of the hotels did not always match up perfectly. Fortunately the GR 34 is easy to follow and can be found on many hiking sites as a GPX file. The extra day in St Malo was a good idea but another day of walking would have been appreciated as well. The Brittany coast is stunning.

Hôtel Les Charmettes

Fun hotel on the St Malo beach. A 20 minute walk from the walled city. The beach is fun with water and wind sports abounding. Lots of happy noise.

Day Trip to Cancale & Mont-Saint-Michel
Saint-Malo
Mt St Michelle is very nice. We skipped the Cancale portion as we had each day been in a nice town along the coast and wanted to spend more time in St Malo. We stayed an extra day in St malo to enjoy the city but would not have had any real time there had we spent 3 hours in Cancale.

Dear Richard,
Thank you for this lovely review!
The GR 34 from Port à la Duc to Saint-Malo is one of my absolute favorites — and I'm so glad the coast lived up to the hype. For hiking itineraries like this one, I always suggest pairing the route description with a hiking app for day-to-day navigation. I'll make sure that tip comes through more clearly next time.
Your feedback is really valuable!

Great location and clean and comfortable. Friendly staff, good breakfast.

This hotel is in a sanctuary and by design minimalistic. It is very clean but basic. It was just fine for us as it was a lesson in humility.
Authenticity & Character
Its plain and that can be its own reward if you stop to think about it. The focus is in your faith.

Very high up in the Alps, the mountain air and views are spectactular. The drive there is exhilarating.

Awesome people , mostly nuns.
Hôtel Carré Vieux Port

Its a good hotel. Our room was on the first floor so it was understandbly a little noisy but it was a side street so not that bad really. But its clean and the breakfast is great.

I had a wonderful time on our trip. Alexia delivered the perfect combination of excursions and down time so that my daughter an I could explore on our own. Our Via Ferrata experience was beautiful and challenging and a definite highlight of our trip. The E bike tour of Marseille is a must and the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, switching easily between French and English. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer! We look forward to visiting France and using Alexia again!

This little bed and breakfast is a gem. My room was sparkling clean and the bathroom was updated. The breakfast was good and had a typical selection. The owner of the hotel was as nice as she could be and was very helpful giving me directions and suggestions for my time in Marseille.
Location
It is close to the train station which is perfect but is a slight hike through a few sketchy streets to the waterfront.
This hotel was perfect for our stay in Nice. It was close to the old city and the waterfront and had a great petit dejunier.

Morning food and wine tour
France
Nadia, our guide, was lovely. She was so knowledgeable and made sure that we sampled every food that we were interested in. She was very tuned in to our personal needs ( need a coffee, or bathroom break) and we never felt rushed or that we were getting a "canned" experience. It felt fresh and new, just for us.

Aperitif Cruise with Champagne

This was a very crowded cruise and all drinks must be paid for. From the description it made it sound like there was a free drink but there was no. That said, it is always nice to take a trip along the Seine and this was a small thing.
