Travel is truly one of the most rewarding experiences we can have. It's amazing how much we can learn and grow from every trip, and I believe that most people will benefit from exploring new places. Personally, I’ve visited around 50 countries and am excited to continue discovering even more of the world. I think travel is so personal and meaningful, and it’s always a positive experience that leaves lasting memories. I'm passionate about creating tailored tours that meet individual needs, and I hope these trips will lead to unforgettable adventures and memories for everyone.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"Iconic landmarks of the capital of Great Britain, historical sites and its royal glory. Romantic landscapes and fabulous beauty of England's countryside with thatched-roof cottages. Beautiful national parks of Wales with its stunning wild scenery. Charming Roman baths and Georgian architecture, and of course Scotland with its rich history, culture and well-known castles."

How did you get involved in travel?

"After quiet a number of different occupations including high-end residential real estate expert, advisor to the Head of the bank, YAGP ballet competition organiser I did understand that only tailoring travel tours makes me feel that I live my life fully. "

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"Conquering Thorang - La Pass 5,415 meters high on our Annapurna Circuit track in Nepal was probably the most profound emotional experience I've ever had. It was my personal challenge surrounded by breathtaking Himalayan landscapes and best friends. "

She was so responsive, I couldn’t believe it. I think, the one thing that might have been slightly better were some of the hotels. Since we didn’t have a car and there is not a lot of public transport in some for the places, I would have asked for places closer to town, and also maybe a little nicer. Although all off the hotels were fine and clean, Greenaces in Portree, had very poor communication and no breakfast, (unless you walked a mile) even though it is billed as a B&B. On the other hand The Corrie’s in Lake Lomond was absolutely fantastic. It also had the best porridge of the whole trip. Brodie, the proprietor there, was the nicest man, he even drove us into town in the rain so we didn’t have to wait for the bus. I think the thing I would do next time is be more specific about want I wanted the trip to be, and do more research on the hotels. I did also check into some other private tours and this one was much more reasonable. Over all, it was a great experience and I will definitely book again.

The B&B is in a beautiful setting with wonderful views. If not for that, I would 1 star it. When you walk in, the foyer smells of damp and mold and there is no information on what to do. When we booked, we received a confirmation email that told us very little. When we arrived we had no idea what to do as there was no one on site. The first number we called went to automatron hell and we got no where. We finally called the emergency number (and got scolded) but he begrudgingly gave us our room number and the lock box code for our key. You would have thought that he might have given us some more info as we told him our email said basically nothing. The next crisis was arranging breakfast-again calling numbers that sent us into VM cyclones. Once we did reach someone, the only times left for the breakfast were after 9am. Since we are early risers so we walked the mile to town to get coffee and pastries from the bakery(which was amazing) and then the mile back for our actual breakfast, only to find out that, breakfast is not served at Greenacres, but at The Rosedale, a hotel, a mile back into town. The second morning, we could not have breakfast until 9:30 but our ride was scheduled to pick us up at 9. So we walked to the bakery again, but it was Sunday and there were closed, So I went to the Rosedale and explained our situation and asked it we could eat early- it was about 8am. We still had walk the 20 minutes back to the B&B to meet our driver. They did let us eat, but again, they were not very nice about it, as if we had upset their whole day. There were about 4 other patrons in the restaurant at the time, so I’m unsure why we were so hard to accommodate. At any rate, other than the beautiful view of the sea, the place was run down and not pretty. The room was fine, clean, but there was about a 2 foot clearance around each side of the bed. It was just not a great place to stay. I would avoid at all costs. I think, if the people had been nice to us, I don’t think I would have been so negative. But their attitude was not at all service oriented, as if we were asking for so much. A key to our room and breakfast at time we were able to make it should not be seen as demanding. Overall, a big thumbs down to Greenacres! Oh and if you don’t ask for a seaview room, it could be even more horrible, because that was the only thing that made it bearable to stay there. The rooms facing the road looked abysmal.

The Garrison Hotel
Fort William

This hotel was fine. Good location and the accommodations were clean and nice. The breakfasts were also great. But it was just like a strip hotel without any real character. We were in a “suite” that was in a separate building. The room looked out over the parking lot and the back of the other part of the hotel, so you basically had to keep the curtains shut the whole time, or the guests of the hotel were looking directly into your room. You also had to walk outside to get into the main hotel and drag your suitcase up a pretty big set of cement stairs to get to the room. Thank goodness we were on the 2nd floor and not the 3rd. Location was good. Staff were ok, although not anxious to do anything extra. It was a nice functional, clean hotel, but not memorable.

Small 4 room B&B. The owner Brodie, was great-very helpful and friendly. The only thing here is thst it is far from all but 1 restaurant and you need transport to go anywhere. We were only them for a day, and he dropped us at a trailhead so we could have a lovely hill walk, but then we walked the 3 miles back to the B&B, which was fine for us, but might not be for others. Luckily, the only close restaurant-Loch Lomand Inn- had great food and wine and we ate there both nights. But overall, it would be best if you had a car in this region. The B&B is so pretty, with nice comfortable rooms and amazing breakfasts. Highly recommend staying here.

We found out 30 inures before the scheduled departure thst the train was not running due to repairs on the track. This was planned in advance. I guess the Jacobite people didn’t tell out tour company who kept trying to get us tickets. This was a little bit of a big deal, because if we had know in advance, we prob could have skipped Fort William, or at least, planned other things in advance, like a distillery tour. We were lucky and had great weather and went on a nice hike, but if given the choice in advance would have probably chosen to spend more time in Skye.

The only bad this here, is thst our driver who took us from Glasgow to Loch Lomand was supposed to,give us a 2 hour tour of Tossahchs National Park which did not happen. He just drove,us to our B&B and left. We should have had a guide on our day in Loch Lomand. We were lucky the B&B guy took us to a trial head, but we still had to walk 3 mile back.

Thank you to Kateryna who scheduled a wonderful vacation for my family (all 7 of us)! We spent 5 nights in London and 2 nights in Paris.

» Day 1 - We flew from NY JFK to Heathrow on an overnight flight. Sleeping on the plane helped us feel a little refreshed, but it takes a few days to become totally adjusted. There was a car service set up to take us directly from the airport to the hotel. We dropped our luggage at the NYX hotel (check-in isn't until 3) and then set out on a 3 hour private Black Cab tour. We needed two cars because of our group size. Our guides Lee & Matt were knowledgeable, entertaining, and hilarious. They have a preset tour that they do, but were super flexible and took us to Abbey Road because I'm a huge Beatles fan. Everyone loved the tour! After the tour, we were dropped off at the Borough Market where we got some of London's famous Strawberries and Chocolate cups. Then we walked about 35 minutes to the London Eye to finish off our day.

FYI - The NYX hotel is in the Holborn district of North West of London, a beautiful area. Also, throughout our trip, we tipped about 10 pounds per hour for our tour guides, which they very much appreciated.

» Day 2 - We did a Royal London two hour walking tour beginning at 10am with our guide Delianne. This included seeing the changing of the guard, Buckingham Palace, St. James’s Palace, Clarence House and the Green Park. Delianne is an expert in royal history and shares great stories about the rituals of the British monarchy.

In the afternoon we visited Westminster Abbey, a historic Gothic church in London, famed for hosting British coronations, royal weddings, and burials since 1066. It houses the tombs of monarchs like Elizabeth I and Edward the Confessor, memorials to literary giants such as Shakespeare and Dickens in Poets’ Corner, and the Coronation Chair used in every royal crowning since 1308.

» Day 3 - We took day 3 as a free day and split up to do different things. In the morning, some of us went to do a tour of Tottenham stadium while others visited Kensington Palace. Both groups had a great time and you couldn't go wrong with either choice.
In the afternoon we spent a few hours at the Churchill War Museums. If you love history and all things WWII, this is a must see.
FYI - Uber and cabs can get you everywhere you want to go, but the London Tube/subway was super easy to use and I definitely recommend using this transportation at least a few times.

» Day 4 - We went to the Tower of London, a historic citadel and castle. The Tower was originally a fortress that has served as a royal palace, prison, treasury, and is the current home to the Crown Jewels. We all absolutely loved the Beefeater-led tour!
FYI - Our Beefeater was named Andy Murray (just like the British tennis star).

After the Tower, it was off to see the state rooms at Buckingham palace.
FYI - There are 775 rooms in the palace, but you'll only get to see less than 20 state rooms. The most impressive part of the visit was the grand staircase.

We then set out for a 3 hour Cruise with dinner on the river Thames. Dinner was delicious, and the nighttime views of London from the Thames were absolutely breathtaking.

» Day 5 - We had a private driver take us about an hour away to the Harry Potter Warner Bros Studio. My family are huge Harry Potter fans, and they loved seeing the behind the scenes tour and the original film stages. We spent 5 hours there in the studio. This is a must stop if you're a Potter fan!

» Day 6 - We took the Eurostar train from London to Paris, France. A driver took us from the train station to our Paris hotel, Les Jardins d'Eiffel where we dropped off our luggage (check-in is at 2pm) and walked the 10 minutes over to the Eiffel tower. The hotel location was phenomenal, in a beautiful neighborhood with tons of restaurant options, beautiful Parisian cafes, and plenty of gift shops.

We thought London was great, but Paris (IMHO) was far more beautiful.

FYI - Even though we don't speak any French, we never had any communication problems anywhere. Everyone we spoke with could speak very good English, especially in this area.

We had nighttime Eiffel Tower Summit Tickets and loved going to the top which gave us great picture opportunities and a sunset view of Paris. As an added bonus, don't miss the Eiffel Tower sparkle!

» Day 7 - We did a 2.5 hour private Louvre Museum visit and our tour guide Pat was our favorite guide of all! She brings you through the museum at a perfect pace and we saw so many beautiful famous works of art, including selfies directly in front of the Mona Lisa!!

After the Louvre, we walked around neighborhoods, had dinner, and relaxed before our early morning commute back to the airport.

FYI - You can tap to pay for just about everything both in England and France, but plan on having English Pounds and French Euros for tipping.

In summary, this trip gave us memories we’ll cherish forever—from laughing with our guides to watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle at sunset. Traveling with family can be chaotic, but this journey was pure magic. KimKim planned a beautiful fulfilling vacation for my family, and I'd highly recommend them.

wonderful 8 day vacation for my family!

Paris

Nestled in the elegant 7th arrondissement, Les Jardins d’Eiffel is a peaceful retreat just minutes from the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. It's quiet courtyard garden and select rooms with (limited) tower views add a touch of romance, while the modern, well-equipped rooms ensure comfort. Note - If you're from the US, don't forget to bring your adapter with USB connections for charging your devices. The rooms do not have these. I was disappointed with the apartment and I made it known to Kate. I tried reaching out to the apartment owners but they never responded. They were low on stocks and should have provided decent amount for a 5 day stay. The whole building had a smell. And the location, while very fun and lively for young folks, was very noisy and difficult to sleep at night with the noise (this is something we should have been told of since we had kids).

For those who are very very new to travelling outside their country and not used to using the internet to search and find their own things to do, this activity is ok. But otherwise, this was not worth it. We travel a lot around the world and often organize our own travel. With KimKim we thought we are buying something extra such as comfort, or customization and special care. But in the end, we realized that we could have planned this trip ourselves for less and the same amount of comfort. The Tower of London falls in the same category. We made the mistake of not checking very thoroughly from yelp/google reviews what this tour entails. So I'm not blaming anyone here at KimKim. I would just caution travellers - they should do their own homework first and then coordinate with a pre-travel planner.

Faisal,

It was truly my pleasure to work with you and your family — I genuinely wanted to make your trip to England feel extraordinary from start to finish. I’m so sorry to hear about your experience with the Covent Garden apartment. To be honest, most of our travelers have really enjoyed staying there, so it’s such a shame that the broken window let in so much noise and that the property was low on supplies. The fact that your requests weren’t promptly addressed by the owners is disappointing, and I will certainly take this into consideration when recommending it in the future.

I also appreciate your thoughts on the Tower of London experience. I truly thought it would be really interesting for the children and a memorable highlight for the whole family, and I aimed to keep the right balance of activities for both kids and adults. I completely understand that for well-traveled guests like yourselves, it may not have felt as special or customized as you were hoping. Your point about travelers doing their own homework first and then coordinating with a planner is a great reminder, and I’ll make sure to emphasize this in my planning process so each experience feels truly tailored.

Thank you again for your kind words about my communication and dedication. It means a lot to know you felt supported throughout the planning process, and I’ll carry your feedback forward to ensure future trips are even better.

Wishing you and your family plenty of amazing adventures ahead,
Kate

We Loved Our Trip!

Kateryna clearly took the time to create an unforgettable trip to London and Paris for my husband and I.

We began in London with activities planned to help us see the most important sights and landmarks. After a slight hiccup with a two hour delay leaving New York, and then another hiccup in the Heathrow Airport, in which the customs computer system went down, we missed our time slot to see Westminster Abbey. Kate replied to us while we were still standing on line at customs to change our call time to the following day. She also ensured that our transportation from the airport would wait for us! We got the chance to have a private tour of London in a black cab with our guide, John. John was fun, informative, and certainly a highlight of our trip! In addition to Westminster Abbey we were also scheduled to tour The Tower of London and go to The British Museum. On our final day in London we went on a bus that Brough us to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Bath. Our tour guide Apple made sure that we stayed on time and had fun throughout the day. We had a great time in London, we stayed in The Phoenix Hotel, which was easily accessible and in a cute neighborhood that had everything we needed within walking distance.

The middle part of our trip took us to Oxford. Unfortunately, we were scheduled to be there during many of Oxford's graduations. We were booked to stay in a pub that was not in Oxford and we believe this is because many of the hotels were booked for the graduations. While Headington is not far from London, the 20 minute bus rides definitely put the brakes on exploring. In hindsight we wish that we had not been scheduled to go to Oxford. It was impossible to get tickets for Christ Church, Oxford's buildings were closed to non-graduates, and the streets were packed with people. We had a very hard time finding a place to have dinner in the city of Oxford and ended up having dinner at our pub, The Black Boy, both nights. While The Black Boy was a nice place to stay and we had plenty of room in our accommodations we couldn't help but feel that the overall experience was a little... off. While the owner was welcoming she also seemed annoyed that she had guests. The service in the restaurant was extremely slow and the staff seemed untrained. While we made the most of our time there- it probably would have been more fun for us to have spent those two nights in London. That being said, we did enjoy our tour of The Cotswolds, which could have been scheduled even if we hadn't left London.

Finally, our trip brought us to Paris! We loved it there. We got to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower our first night and the experience will stick with us forever. We were also scheduled to visit the Catacombs, which was both thrilling and chilling, and The Louvre! Our last scheduled event in Paris was seeing Versailles which was well organized and well timed within the scope of our day. Our schedule was open enough that we were also able to see Notre Dame and spend plenty of time in the Luxembourg Gardens. We were staying the WS Casanova. We had our own apartment which was cozy. We were on the top floor and were initially concerned about the fact that it had limited air flow, no direct access to the elevator, and no air conditioning (not uncommon in Paris!). The apartment worked out well for us as Paris experienced mild weather during our nights there. The only flaw is that the apartment was not a traditional hotel room and so there were no amenities such as room cleaning or fresh sheets and towels. There were also small signs of wear and tear on the room that, while not taking away from the usability of the space, did diminish its quality.

Overall we are really pleased with our experience. We would recommend Kateryna and KimKim to our friends in the future! Thank you for a great 10 days!

Phoenix Hotel
London

Other than having a small bathroom this hotel met all of our expectations! Our room was always cleaned and the space was calm and inviting. The breakfasts each morning were always the perfect way to start the day. The Phoenix Hotel is in a great area and we had tons of restaurants to walk to at dinner time. We also had very easy access to the Circle Line which was our ticket all over London!

Authenticity & Character
The building the hotel is located in has that old London feel that you expect when you travel there!
Location
This hotel is around the corner from an entire street of restaurants, pubs, two small grocery stores, a spa, the train station, and a nearby park. You can access other parts of London quite easily from the train. It is a lovely place to stay.

They were very helpful and informative. When we had questions about the Eurostar they were happy to answer them!

The Black Boy is cute but it is out of the way if you intend to spend your time in Oxford.

Authenticity & Character
The pub is in a very charming building but it seems that the new owners are still ironing out some kinks. The sound system in the dining room made a loud buzzing time every few minutes the entire time we were there. There were a lot of places to sit within the downstairs area of the pub!
Location
You have to uber, taxi, or bus into Oxford.
Staff
The hotel owner was welcoming but regularly seemed annoyed. Her staff was very young and many of them seemed extremely inexperienced. It took a very long time for dinner service. Overall it felt like we were there for a soft-opening in which they were training their staff.
Cleanliness & Comfort
The room was clean and comfortable. Due to the fact that there are no screens there was a surprising number of spiders in the room with us.
WS Louvre - Casanova
Paris

We had a great time staying here! The fact that it is an apartment and not a hotel gave us a very independent feeling but it's good to know going in that it is not truly a hotel!

Authenticity & Character
We stayed on the 5th floor and did not have an elevator to our room so move in and move out day was tricky getting down to the 4th floor with our things but that was not a deal breaker. The room was a little beat up and the shower door in the bathroom did not keep the water in the shower, but it did fit the vibe of staying in a studio in Paris anyway!
Location
Right in the heart of the 2nd Arrondismont there is no lack of activities or access to the metro!
Staff
There are no staff at this hotel. Thee is a phone number on the door that you can text but don't expect clean towels, room service, breakfast, or a tidied up room!
Cleanliness & Comfort
It is as clean and comfortable as you keep it because it's an apartment.

I’m so glad to hear that you and Tristan enjoyed your time in London and Paris, and that even when travel hiccups arose, we could quickly adjust so you didn’t miss out on special experiences like Westminster Abbey. I love that you connected with John on your private black cab tour — he’s such a gem — and that your day trips and guides made those moments memorable.

I’m really sorry about the timing in Oxford during graduation week. I’ll definitely take that into account for future travelers so they can enjoy each stop without extra challenges. Your feedback on The Black Boy and WS Casanova apartment is truly appreciated and will help me refine my recommendations.

It warms my heart that Paris delivered those magical moments — from the Eiffel Tower at night to Versailles and wandering the Luxembourg Gardens. I’m delighted the weather cooperated and that the apartment’s location made it easy to explore.

Overall, it means the world to know you felt cared for throughout your journey. Thank you again for trusting me with your trip — it was such a pleasure working with you both!

Our 12 person family trip to Scotland was amazing! A trip of a lifetime! And Kateryna our travel agent was incredible! She helped us plan a trip for 12 to 5 different towns and cities, starting in Edinburgh, and ending in Glasgow. We had two amazing drivers, Marco and Eri, who helped make the trip and excursions seem less. From the Inns to the restaurant suggestions, tours and hikes we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. I highly recommend visiting The isle of Skye, hiking its magical hills and mountains and its small towns like Portree. We will definitely use Kimkim and Katyrina again!
