"I especially like the golden route in Japan, the cherry blossom, the street markets in Osaka and the cycling adventure along the hidden routes of Japan."

How did you get involved in travel?

"After graduating from university, I wanted to get out of Germany – just like many others. I wanted to go somewhere abroad. Asia was a spontaneous decision, and this spontaneous decision turned into something long-term. Japan, in particular, captured my heart. Not only did the breathtaking temple complexes, the incredible mountain ranges, the islands, and the sea fascinate me, but also the unique cultures and the lives of the people inspired and motivated me to stay."

"I particularly like the nature, visiting the temples and shrines. The unique smell of incense, the Japanese cuisine and the incredible diversity of the country inspire me anew every day. "
