Pedro was awesome! He organized an amazing trip for us and kept in close contact with us daily throughout our vacation.

Carlos drove for us several days and also served as a guide and did a great job. He is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor.

It was very helpful to have the hotels close to all the attractions as we were able to walk everywhere. All the guides are super friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our trip thoroughly! The only suggestion I would make for future visitors is during the Douro Valley trip. It would be great if the tour guide were able to stop at the scenic attractions, allowing us to take pictures. We saw the beautiful valley but did not stop to take pictures of the valley, only saw from the car.

We just returned from a fantastic family vacation to Lisbon and the Algarve, and we can’t thank Pedro and Pepe from All Around Portugal enough! From start to finish, everything was seamless—thoughtfully planned, well-paced, and filled with memorable experiences. Fantastic trip to Portugal. Pedro provided the perfect itinerary for our first trip to this amazing country. Food tour in Lisbon, Sintra, Belem, Cascais, Fatima, Nazare and Obidos. Our drivers were great - Carlos and another Carlos as well as our guides - Pedro and Margarida. Pedro booked us in a wonderful hotel and even got us an upgraded room. I will book with kimkim again as everything went very smoothly. Obrigado , new friends!

Great hotel in a very nice area of Lisbon. Many great restaurants and shops nearby including an Aldi on the street level. Very clean , nice rooftop pool and bar and amazing breakfast buffet.

We contacted KimKim for our 30th anniversary trip to Portugal, and we were connected with Pedro. From the beginning, Pedro offered us so many options for our trip, and after we selected our likes, and let him know our dislikes, he crafted an itinerary that perfectly matched our criteria. From the private walking tour in Lisbon with Nadia (who was wonderful), to the Fado dinner, which we truly enjoyed, to the private driver Rui, who kept us entertained on our day trip to Sintra, all of it was just wonderful. Rui also drove us to Porto with stops along the way and we were happy to have the same drive for both days. Pedro and his team checked in with us often, ensuring we were enjoying ourselves and answering any questions we had. We had a small issue upon check-in in Porto and we contacted Pedro and his team and the issue was resolved in less than 10 minutes. Our walking tour in Porto with Andres was great, and all of the little anniversary surprises along the way were so incredible appreciated. Pedro also provided us with a self-guided itinerary for Sao Miguel and the sights we saw were truly amazing. There is not enough praise we can heap on Pedro and his team for taking care of us and truly making our 30th anniversary truly spectacular.

Both guides as well as the horseback and bike riding tours were very good. We had great experiences on all 4 counts. All activities were perfectly planned. There was no confusion anywhere, we felt that we were in great hands for all the logistics concerning the trip. Thank you Pedro and all team members at the office or in the field.

Ponta da Piedade Small Group Kayak Adventure

Great tour in that caves. But we were surprised about the short duration of the trip on the water. It was a bit short given that we came back several minutes in advance even after a very slow return from the caves to the marina. I know there must be other considerations, but we could have prolonged the kayak portion by 15 minutes in my opinion.

My husband and I have never used a service like KimKim before when planning a vacation itinerary, and we are so glad we did. After being welcomed so warmly by Across Portugal, however, the bar has now been set very high for the future, for we feel very spoiled indeed. From the moment we arrived in Portugal, we were greeted and received with white-glove hospitality. Everyone we encountered provided such thoughtful and thorough service, working tirelessly to make sure that our experience ran smoothly. We truly felt cared for at every moment; every detail for our stay had been considered, from our name prominently displayed by our driver at the airport to the welcome box full of local treats in our hotel room to the printed tickets for our excursions and timely check-ins every afternoon. I have never had so many doors opened for me. We felt like royalty!

Throughout our trip, we received immediate, friendly and thorough support from the team at Across Portugal, and they graciously answered all of our questions, no matter how trivial or random. It was a true delight to experience the country through the eyes of those who live there; our drivers and walking guides were exemplary professionals, but most of all we appreciated the depth of their knowledge and enthusiasm as they shared Portuguese history, language, and culture with us, offering suggestions and recommendations for where to go and what to see, where to eat. They were quick with recommendations and remained sensitive and attuned to our every comfort. They consistently went out of their way to provide impeccable service, catering to our whims, whether it was advice on how to speak or pronounce words, removing the front seat to relieve carsickness during a winding journey, providing spare umbrellas when it rained, driving us by Cristiano Ronaldo's house to satisfy our curiosity, calling a restaurants at the last minute to book tables with an ocean view, attempting to help us attend a futebol match outside Porto... The list goes on and on. The love and pride that our guides felt for their homeland shone through their words and actions.

We discovered quickly that Across Portugal had taken the time to find only the very best in local service and excursions, from tastings to vineyard tours, boat rides to cross-country drives and fado dinners. It felt as though we were being given gift after gift of unique insights and kind gestures, invited into an exclusive family. We trusted the Across Portugal team, and by extension their partnerships with local businesses, to lead us at every turn. We would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone planning a visit to this beautiful country. You will have no choice but to fall in love with Portugal!
