Ten days in Argentina is enough time to cover some of its famously beautiful regions, be it the deserts of the north, the eastern wine country, or even down to Patagonia and up to Iguazú Falls. You can start in the capital of Buenos Aires before going on a marine-life safari in Puerto Madryn, on the Atlantic Coast. If you’re a wine lover, head east to Mendoza and sample Argentina’s most famous varietal: Malbec. For a bit of Patagonia, travel to the Lake District city of Bariloche, which offers fine skiing in winter and camping in summer.

This epic winter holiday covers some of the most beautiful destinations in the country. Arrive in Buenos Aires before jetting off to the southern lakeside retreat of San Carlos de Bariloche to enjoy the best ski conditions in the nation. Next, head to Argentine Patagonia, where you'll sail the same waters as Charles Darwin and walk with Magellanic penguins. Finally, fly back to Buenos Aires to catch a tango show before heading back home.

Then, enjoy a tango lesson in the city where the dance was born. Next, venture to Medoza and indulge your senses while taking part in informative and delicious wine tours of the region. Finally, visit the colonial city of Salta, which is your jumping off point for the rugged gorges, salt flats, and painted deserts of Argentina's far north.

If you're looking to do a deep-dive into northwestern Argentina, this trek gives you access to a gorgeous region of towering mountains and deep valleys, and the chance to immerse yourself in high-altitude communities that can only be reached on foot. With no one major site to work up to but rather a full ten days of extraordinary places, on this trip, the journey really is the destination.

This 10-day itinerary combines outdoor activities in Argentina and Chile's deep south. After a day in Buenos Aires, head to Los Glaciares National Park for some ice trekking on a major glacier. Next is an overnight hiking trip to Chile's Torres del Paine National Park. You'll finish in Argentina's El Chaltén—home of Mt. Fitz Roy and craft-beer bars—and complete a rock climbing course (there's no better place to learn!)

Argentina, particularly the Patagonia region, offers some of the continent's best hiking opportunities, and this 10-day trip hits the top three spots. Starting in Buenos Aires, you'll head to El Calafate for ice trekking on an advancing glacier. Next is El Chaltén, Argentina's ground zero for iconic peaks like Mount Fitz Roy. Finish in Bariloche—a Swiss-rooted hub in the Lake District offering a plethora of trails and chocolate shops.

After touring Buenos Aires with a local, you’ll head north to visit hundreds of waterfalls along the Brazilian border, explore a colonial city known for architecture, and take day-trips to gorges, salt flats, and wineries at the foot of the Andes.

Next is high-altitude Mendoza, where you'll take part in several wine tastings (especially malbec). Finish at the Brazilian border to experience hundreds of waterfalls in both countries.

It was a wonderful trip a couple hiccups, but they’re bound to happen on a long trip like mine was. One thing I could mention is that flying from Quito to Baltra Island. I was not told there was a stop in between. It was a wonderful trip a couple hiccups, but they’re bound to happen on a long trip like mine was. One thing I could mention is that flying from Quito to Baltra Island. I was not told there was a stop in between. I was very tired and I was dead asleep and didn’t really hear or understand the announcement and consequently when we landed I thought we were there and I got off had to book another flight myself and a hotel and get on the flight the next morning to go to Baltra while at the airport, I talked to a girl the same thing happened to her. She was not told there was a stop over and she had gone to sleep as well so.
But for the most part, the trip was wonderful. I was always picked up on time brought back the guides and the drivers were wonderful. The hotels were excellent except in QUITO I had to have cold showers. Other than that my showers were all hot, but that hotel was very nice even with the cold showers. The quality of the tours were terrific. I enjoyed every one of them one person who is very instrumental in helping me was Leo QUITO who came to the hotel and explained several things to me that I didn’t understand and that made a world of difference. I have told many many people how my tour was organized because as travelling alone, I spoke to everybody and they all wanted to know about my tour for one person for such a long period of time so I told them Kim Kim was an excellent company and I had used it a couple times before and would definitely be using it again. Weather was excellent so that was a good time to go. Things weren’t as expensive as I thought they would be food was excellent all in all. It was a trip of a lifetime thank you Dorothy McConville Vancouver Canada.

The surprise to me was how interesting Salta was. The hotel was pleasant but the manager Petal was particularly lovely and helpful.
Some wonderful dinners in the Balcarce area.

Our last night was spent at the Argentine Diner Experience and was an excellent cap to the vacation. In the future one could consider that as a beginning and save the Tango night towards the end.

Communication with Say Hueque was responsive and many of our questions would have been answered if we opened the Vamoos app sooner. I suggest making it very clear to new clients how important and comprehensive the app is.

Hello Stephen,
Thank you for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback about your trip. It truly means a lot to read how much you enjoyed the different destinations and experiences throughout the journey.

We are very glad to know that everything came together just as you had hoped, and that the situation with the delayed flight was handled quickly so the trip could continue smoothly. It is especially rewarding to hear that the guides, drivers and overall coordination helped make the experience comfortable and enjoyable.

It is wonderful to know that places like Salta and Iguazú left such a strong impression, and that your stay at the camp became one of the highlights of the trip. Experiences like the dinners and the final evening activity are exactly the kind of moments we hope will make a journey feel memorable.

We appreciate your comment about the Vamoos app as well. Feedback like this is very helpful as we continue improving how we support travelers before and during their trips.

Thank you again for your kind words and for trusting us with your adventure.

Best wishes,
Micaela
