Get inspired by these unique itineraries for your 5-day trip to Norway.

1 Week in Norway - 7 Unique Itinerary Ideas
From down in the fjords up to the mountain peaks, Norway is full of sweeping vistas and stirring Viking tales. How to capture it all in a week? Hone in on your favorite region or travel style with these itineraries.

10 Days in Norway - 6 Unique Itinerary Ideas
With 10 days to explore nearly 60,000 miles of coastline, you'll want to ensure you're equipped with a plan to tackle Norway's wide-ranging scenery, wildlife, and culture. If you're keen on exploring Norway's fjords, pick up a rental car and journey through Stavanger, Bergen, Voss, and Aurland. Alternatively, consider an action-packed road trip, a winter adventure in northern Norway, a culturally rich exploration in western Norway, or an active trip featuring a multiday hike through the Aurland Valley.

2 Weeks in Norway - 4 Unique Itinerary Ideas
You could spend a whole year in Norway and barely scratch the surface of its expansive beauty. If you've only got two weeks to try and do so, give one of these itineraries a try. You'll scope out Norwegian nature, culture, and more through the seasons.

How Many Days to Spend in Norway
With such a wide range of options to explore, Norway can easily keep most travelers occupied for weeks, if not months. That said, an epic itinerary can be covered in less time; at least five days to delve into Norway is recommended. Don't worry if you have less time, though. Shorter visits are feasible but should focus on one or two specific areas. If you have more than a week, you can include remote regions like the Lofoten Islands or Svalbard.

Best Time of Year To Visit Norway
Despite its northerly location, Norway is a fantastic destination any time of year. Summer brings the endless daylight of the midnight sun and warmer temperatures, making June through August the busiest season. However, wintertime (October to March) is equally stunning, offering the opportunity to view the northern lights. And for those looking to avoid other foreign travelers, spring and fall are by far the quietest months with a more temperate climate.

Knowing that Alex was a phone call away, even though the planning was air tight, was a comfort to me.
Again, the planning was air tight including vital times, mode of transportation and what to expect. If you have something go wrong, chances are...you were not paying attention. There was plenty of time to explore and decide what you wanted to do and when to do it. The meal at the taproom was a nice touch with the paring of a variety of dishes with different beers.
