1 Week in the Netherlands - 5 Unique Itinerary Ideas
How you spend a week exploring Dutch art history, cycling through flower fields, cruising around canals, and relaxing on the beach is up to you. A family-friendly tour offers outdoor excursions and hands-on museums suitable for children, a cycling tour is great for active travelers, and a Dutch art-focused itinerary is perfect for van Gogh fans. It's also possible to combine a few days in the Netherlands with some time in Belgium on a weeklong tour of Holland and Flanders.
Grand Tour of the Netherlands - 14 Days
Fields of tulips, antique windmills, paintings by Vincent van Gogh, boat rides on the canals of Amsterdam: on this magnificent two-week trip, you'll visit many of Holland's top highlights. Stops along the itinerary include the port city of Rotterdam, forested Hoge Veluwe National Park, and the windswept island of Texel, where you'll spend a few relaxing days at the end of the trip. No adventure in the Netherlands, of course, would be complete without a bicycle ride. So this action-packed itinerary also features several chances to explore historic cities and idyllic landscapes on two wheels!
Cultural Tour & Outdoor Adventure in Southern Holland - 5 Days
Cycle, hike, and relax in open-air cafés on this outdoorsy 5-day tour of Holland's southernmost region. Limburg is home to historic cities like Maastricht and Valkenburg aan de Geul, where you'll tour grand churches and romantic castles. It's also known for its hilly countryside, particularly the gorgeous scenery of the National Landscape of Zuid-Limburg, which you'll explore on e-bike and on foot. Since this area of the Netherlands is known for its vineyards and gastronomic traditions, you'll dine well, too, a perfect way to end a day's worth of fresh air and active pursuits.

Experience the best Holland has to offer on this 10-day luxury tour! You'll sleep in one-of-a-kind boutique hotels and dine in fine restaurants while exploring the capital city of Amsterdam, pristine Hoge Veluwe National Park, the lively university town of Leeuwarden, and the windswept islands of Vlieland and Texel. Highlights along the journey include a private gondola tour, a day trip to historic windmills in the Dutch countryside, a self-guided bike ride along picturesque sand dunes, plenty of time to enjoy viewing Vincent van Gogh's original masterpieces, and an overnight stay in a gorgeously restored complex of Golden Age canal houses.
Off-the-Beaten-Path Luxury in the Netherlands - 5 Days
Get away from the crowds and experience Holland's finer things on this 5-day luxury tour around the Netherlands. Explore the smaller cities of Leiden, the Hague, and Delft, featuring classic Dutch attractions like picturesque canals, cobblestoned streets, world-class art museums, beautiful churches, historic windmills, and lovely squares lined with outdoor cafés. Hi Karen
Thank you for taking the time to review the services on your trip.
As discussed, we're very sorry about the frustrating situation with getting on your canal cruise. We have discussed it with the boat captains, to prevent this in the future. Gladly you were able to sail on the correct boat, but it's a shame that it took all this confusion on the spot. A refund is on your way!
Wishing you all the best,
Mieke
