Very helpful staff, wonderful area to sit and relax, good location for exploring.

What a beautiful setting!!! We felt pampered and blessed by the straight-up mountains that surrounded us. The staff were always helpful and polite, and the massage therapists did a great job. The drivers that took us to town and back were very polite and helpful with directions for getting around town. I'm not sure why we have an extra charge, but that is the only negative. Great choice!

Again, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help us in any way. The courtyard was a pleasant place to relax, and sitting under the umbrellas during the showers with a glass of wine was very easy to do. The steep grade was hard at first, but we quickly adjusted to the climb, and soon it seemed quite natural.

We appreciated the ideas you presented for our free time. The hotel was so close to the ocean, and the pyramid and other historic sites were fun to visit. We had no trouble filling the time for our first free day, and the courtyard of the hotel was amazing! What a wonderful place to sit and relax.

The location is super tactical for reaching bus stop to Machu Picchu if you have early morning entrance.

The hotel design is pretty authentic and environmental friendly. The only concern was the slightly poor sound isolation.

The view to the lake and private dock for boat tour were priceless.

Machu Picchu is without a doubt the most renowned attraction of Peru. It’s worth every effort to hike up to Huayna Picchu (circuit 3-A ), as from the summit the view to Machu Picchu is just stunning.

This hotel is really lovely, with one of the most beautiful gardens we saw the entire trip. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfasts were tasty.

We had a lovely room, and a great view from the roof top. Breakfast was good, and the bed was comfortable. Location was good, and while a little bit outside the heart of the busy town, it was a short walk, and we appreciated the quiet.

Nice views of the Lake from our room, and when we had a logistical challenge with one of our pick ups, the staff at the hotel went WAY out of their way to help us sort it out. Room was large, clean and comfortable, and the bed was great.

This lodge is quite a remarkable experience. The rooms and walkways are open to the air, and this gives it an unusual connection to the surrounding jungle. A variety of birds are close, and I saw monkeys one morning from the living room. A slight downside of this arrangement: you can hear people in the adjacent room if they are not quiet. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were memorable in a good way. Great showers. The hardworking staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good, and the overall experience was certainly a highlight of our trip.

This hotel was comfortable. The hotel did lose power while we were there, but that is not their fault I assume. The staff was helpful in sorting out emergency lighting for us. Room was comfortable and clean.

The room was fine, but our particular room had a window onto an interior airshaft which made it a bit noisy. The location was extremely good, right on the main square. Breakfast served on the rooftop, with gorgeous views in every direction. That was very special.

This hotel is part of a very big complex, and the room and the breakfast were both top notch. We had a great view from our balcony, and the staff were very nice and helpful. We ate at a couple of the restaurants, lunch and dinner, and had very delicious fresh fish.

While the staff was overall very nice, and the rooms were fine, we ended up with an unpleasant experience being placed in a room that was next to some rooms that were undergoing fumigation. I still do not understand how the lovely young woman who helped us at the main desk could have placed us in a room in this situation. In general, other than this one situation, we had a good experience there, but this situation was disappointing The food was fine at breakfast, and the hotel structure was very pretty and elegant.
