Kimkim did an amazing job with our trip. During our trip, we had a few snags (not by them) but the team was there to help guide us during a difficult time during our trip. Once everything got corrected , we got back on track, with no worries if something else came up unexpectedly. We knew they would be there!

The beds here were amazing. The hosts at the desk were kind and helpful. This was our first Iceland breakfast. As a picky eater I was concerned but they had so many options for me to get a wonderful breakfast to start my journey on the ring road

The Outside of the hotel looked worn, but it didn't take us long to figure out the upkeep must be difficult during all the storms. The inside was great. It would have been nice for our rooms to be attached to the main hotel. The weather was terrible and we had to walk outside across ice and snow.
Location
The hotel was a bit of a drive after being awake for 30 hrs. There is a restaurant about 15min down the road that was absolutely amazing.

Due to weather, we almost has to skip this stop. With some alterations and flexibility, we made it to Sigló and it was more than worth the trip.

We planned on 2 nights here but due to weather, only got to stay for 1 night AND we didn't arrive until 1 am. The staff waited on us, directed us personally to our cabin, made sure we got in and verified we were ok before leaving

Location
This cottage is on Lake Myvatn and the 2 days we're were supposed to stay wouldn't have been enough. We will return for a longer stay.

Loved the rugged atmosphere. NO TV was great. The rooms were small. The double bed room required me to climb over my husband to go to water closer during the night.
