This was our third kimkim trip...

kimkim trip makes travel so easy and effortless. The app tells you exactly where to go, who to meet, and what to expect. One particular highlight, for all our trips, is the tour guides with whom we've worked. In Mykonos we went on a hike with Yummy Pedals, and Dimitra was fabulous, and Pako took us on an amazing food tour. Our day on the water in Santorini was the standout, but our wine tour with Yannis was a blast, too! The true standout was our tour guide in Athens, Katerina. We went on a food walk with her one night, and then two days later a neighborhood walk. She was beyond wonderful- it was like walking around the city with a friend, and I was so sad to say goodbye to her after our second tour. All in all it was a fun, memorable trip :)
Hotel Reviews
First, this is a nice hotel, nothing is really "wrong" with it, but it is literally at the top of a hill, and only accessible by stairs that are fairly steep. If you're walking back from town you're going to be really winded by the time you get back to your room. As with most European hotels, the rooms are very small, and you cannot take a shower without soaking the entire bathroom.
The rooms are very clean and generously sized, but the absolute best part of this hotel is that they deliver breakfast to your room in the morning, which you can eat outside while looking at the ocean.
Something to be aware of is that this hotel is kind of spread out. So you might check in at the front desk, and then walk down the street and around the corner to the building where your room is actually located. That said, the rooms themselves are really lovely. On the the smaller side, which is to be expected, but they are very well decorated and clean. The highlight for me is that this hotel had a shower with actual doors that close all the way (if you've traveled in Europe at all, you know what I'm talking about!). I did not go to breakfast, but others in a group did and noted that it was just ok.
