This is our second time using KimKim and we are already planning to use it again this summer. Every part of the trip was perfectly planned, explained, and timed out. Accommodations were perfect, drivers were on time and friendly, tours were awesome. We loved it! Angela (Aggeliki) was responsive, helpful, and the trip was wonderful. We definitely want to come back to Greece one day.

From start to finish our trip to Greece was flawless. Our specialist, Sienna crafted the trip of a lifetime…all within our budget. The communication was superb. All of the boutique hotels were unique and catered to our every need. I felt like a rockstar when transported by our drivers in luxury vans . They provided a lot of local color and could not have been more kind while driving us to our incredible tours. Each tour guide holds a special place in my heart. Their knowledge and love for their country was an experience I will never forget. Five stars is not enough! Truly, a trip of a lifetime

Overall the Kimkim team performed exceptionally well both in the planning stages as well as communication and support during our trip.
Our hotels were overall excellent. Due to the lateness of the season, some services at hotels were not available. However overall, the hotels met our expectations.
Air reservations were well-arranged and everything went smoothly thought the half-hour time from "wheels down" in Athens connecting with our flight to Zakynthos was a little stressful. In fact, we and our luggage made the flight and we understand that, unless we wanted to lay over a day in Athens, this was our only flight.
One comment, our last night in Athens, we arrived in Athens from Zakynthos in the early evening and had to depart from Athens from our hotel at 4:30 AM. Our hotel was 30-40 minutes from the airport. I would suggest a hotel nearer the airport with this tight layover. The hotel was nice.
We appreciated the pacing of the trip without continuous activities. We were in Europe a month total and it was good to have some down time or simply some time to explore the destinations we stayed on our own. We are experienced travelers.
We loved the activities/tours planned for us. Cape Sounion; Archological Museum, Food tour of Athens; Peloponnese tour, Acropolis, Santorini Village and Wine tours. All our guides were fun and very knowledgeable.
All our transportation connections made it easy to keep our connections stress-free. The ability to Whats App our drivers was especially helpful when connections were late or other complications.
Finally, your Kimkim app worked beautifully and was easy to navigate. The only comment I would add is that, while the app has a link to log in, you cannot actually login. The only way to activate the trip is following the link given us by our arranger. Just a bit confusing. Either let us log in or remove the link.

Every detail was tended to with care! Last minute changes to the itinerary were handled seamlessly. If you want a stress free vacation this is the service I would recommend. They really listen and understand what you want in your time spent at your destinations. Every pick-up, drop off and tour were on time to the minute. Never worried about anything! Excellent communication. Accommodations were always on point! Just what we were looking for!

Greece was a wonderful experience. Santorini was fabulous. Vasilios was an incredible guide, so knowledgeable so charming and took us to very interesting places the windmills the seaside, the caves and his knowledge of history was exemplary! Athens: parthenon, wonderfulof course; archaeological museum with our guide Effie superb. she hit all the highlights in just over an hour. Plaka was fun for shopping and grab some incredible bargains for gifts.. Zakinthos was fun bc we had friends there .The Bitzaro Hotel was goodroom was lovely but bathroom lighting was sparse and the bathroom door had to be completely closed before you could access the commode. The Athena Riviera was fabulous. It’s unfortunate that we had to get up at 3 AM and we didn’t arrive there until after 10 and we hadn’t eaten fortunately superb restaurants were 5 to 10 minutes away and we could order in. Perhaps a hotel that wasn’t a 30 minute drive from the airport would be a better choice next time or this would be fine if we had more time to enjoy it. I hear the breakfasts are superb! All in all a wonderful trip.

Our trip to Greece was an unforgettable experience. The accommodations were beautiful and within easy walking distance. Each of the excursions and guides exceeded our expectations. I was especially pleased with ease of using the app and having tickets and boarding passes readily available. I was also pleased with the ease of communication where ever we were.

Popi Georgopoulou, our guide to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum was excellent. Her knowledge and the information she shared with us in both places was exceptional. She enjoyed telling the history of Athens and the Acropolis. She not only told us the main points but also some of the side stories which we greatly appreciated. We highly recommend her for all of your tours.
All of our hotels were ideally located, within walking distance of many restaurants and sites.
All of our transfers were punctual, the drivers friendly, helpful and very professional. The vehicles we had were
excellent and provided more than enough room for us and our luggage.
When we needed to keep Eirini or the staff informed about situations, they were always quick to reply and offer help when needed.

We cannot recommend Be A Greek enough! From start to finish, the trip was completely worry-free. They were available anytime we had questions or needed help, and they even rearranged our first day when someone missed their flight. Originally, we planned this trip for 2024, but due to some issues, we had to move it back a year, and they handled everything seamlessly without any stress on our part. Thanks to Be A Greek, we had such memorable experiences. Our food tour in Naxos was incredible, especially the orange cake, and we loved learning about the city’s history. The Naxos cooking class was by far our favorite activity, exploring the farm, picking fresh vegetables, and doing traditional Greek dances and plate breaking. In Santorini, the cultural highlights and wine tasting tour gave us a perfect mix of history, local flavors, and small-crowd sightseeing, plus we found some amazing gifts for friends. And the sunset catamaran cruise with BBQ was breathtaking, romantic, and offered some of the best photos of our trip. Be A Greek made all of it effortless, and we are so grateful for such a smooth, unforgettable experience.

The Traditional Naxian Small-Group Cooking Class was probably our favorite activity. It was so interactive with plenty of activities, including a farm tour and some history lessons. We even got to dance at the end. Overall, it was an excellent experience that we thoroughly enjoyed.

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to share some feedback regarding our recent trip, as this vacation is incredibly meaningful to my husband and me. It serves as our yearly honeymoon — a special time for us to reconnect, especially since we both work in law enforcement and rarely have time away together.

First, I want to express my appreciation for your attentiveness and professionalism throughout the planning process. However, I don’t feel that my preferences and expectations were not fully understood or reflected in some parts of the trip.

Our hotel in Athens was nice in terms of accommodations, but the lack of concierge service was a major disappointment for us. Personalized service and assistance are very important elements of our travel experience. While the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, the absence of a concierge made it difficult to navigate the area and arrange activities smoothly.

We also encountered an issue with our tour guides in Athens. There was some confusion about our meeting location, and the guide became upset and raised her voice when we didn’t meet her outside as she expected — we had been waiting just downstairs. While this was uncomfortable, I do want to acknowledge that she was very knowledgeable and that the remainder of the tour went well.

A more serious issue occurred when departing to Egypt. We learned from the airline that our travel agent should have verified that our passports were compliant for our destination. Unfortunately, my husband’s passport was not accepted initially because it expires in April 2026, leading to a 12-hour delay. We made multiple calls and sent messages but received no response. After pleading with the airline, they finally allowed us to continue our travel. By the time we arrived in Egypt, it was 3:45 a.m., and we reached the hotel around 5:45 a.m. Our scheduled day tour at 8 a.m. had to be postponed to 11 a.m., causing us to miss several experiences. This situation created a domino effect that impacted a significant portion of our trip.

On a positive note, our time in Santorini was absolutely wonderful. The hotel, staff, and tour guides there exceeded our expectations and made that part of our trip truly memorable.

I’m sharing this feedback because we truly value these annual trips, and with a few adjustments, future experiences could be exceptional from start to finish. I would appreciate any follow-up or resolution you can offer, particularly regarding the passport issue and the missed portions of our tours.

If you are looking to create your own vacation, kimkim is the company you want. They were superb in planning exactly what our small group wanted while at the same time providing truly wonderful drivers and professional guides for each day. Everyone was friendly and eager to please while also providing recommendations for restaurants and other activities. Kimkim was perfection!

Kimkim took the pain out of organizing all the little details for a wonderful trip. All of their guide selections were amazing. They provided additional perks as the trip continued (not that I would expect that in the future, but really nice touch!) One outing was to be a boat ride around a Greek island but the weather forecasts looked horrible. Late afternoon we asked if we could reschedule to to THE NEXT DAY. Kimkim reached out and we were rewarded with a marvelous afternoon on the water. And, yes, lighting and rain happened on the originally scheduled day and would have cancelled the trip.

My feet did great. Group was not rushed.

The first interactions with Chris were great and he was always quick to respond and provided great detail. In retrospect though, I think I should have demanded a phone call so that I could have talked to Chris directly and truly understood the service he was providing. I thought I was interfacing with a local and getting some local knowledge and expertise that would be carried on during my trip as rather promoted and promised on KimKim. I was quite surprised to receive a communication post payment to KimKim and only about 7 -10 days prior to our departure that our whole booking was outsourced to some group I had no knowledge about of Travel12 MAMKITA and a new contact named Christos for whom I had never heard of nor spoken to. In fact, the notification specifically said "local partners don't recognize KimKim and therefore may be confused" - well I was confused!! And, nothing from Chris?? Once actually on the trip, Travel 12 Mamakita and outsourced yet again to Luxury Tours and apparently a couple of different car services.
Therefore, I really don't know what I paid for with KimKim? And while Chris told me that things would be winding down as far of the season on Naxos -- frankly that was way off too -- the hotel where were were staying was literally the ONLY hotel open at the beach -- not one single restaurant or hotel, market, bar, restaurant was open - so not one single restaurant recommendation was accurate - all were closed. I really thought a local would have known this?
I just believed there was no value added and I likely paid 40 -50% more that I should have or for what I could have simply booked on my - Certainly Chat GPT could have laid out the trip I got.

Once in Greece, I had yet another new contact on WhatsApp named Dimitris? Once I did experience problems on my trip with my flight back to Athens being canceled, I received little assistance and ultimately found my own way to the port of Naxos and booked a ferry. A strong text exchange had to occur to get the local agency, (now yet another contact named Tasos) to re-organize a private transfer pick up at the ferry versus the airport which had been paid for -- that private transfer did end up happening but was ultimately refused unless and until we paid more? What they finally organized was a taxi.

So overall - it was "ok"? I just don't know what KimKim did. They were recommended by a friend who had a good experience but my experience not so much. Doubt I would do again.

I think we just got lucky on this one - Billy aka "Billy the Bear" was the highlight of the trip. Was very friendly and engaging. He was passionate about making sure we had a great day given that we had challenges with the island essentially being finished for the season. Our first trip to Greece was exactly what I expected it to be, thanks so Siena and KimKim. She asked the right questions in order to cater each day to what we wanted to see and do. She had great recommendations and provided all the details necessary for us to pack and plan appropriately for 11 days.

There were minor hiccups but nothing detrimental to the overall experience, and with so many details planned, we weren’t expecting everything to go perfect.

The location of the hotel made it convenient to walk to restaurants and shops. The streets are narrow and double parked so that made it difficult for taxis or drivers to be able to pull up right to the door, but it was usually just short walk up the street to the main road. We took advantage of the 7th floor terrace and enjoyed the Acropolis views from our balcony!

This was our favorite excursion of the whole trip! It was fun and exciting! We got to feed and milk a goat, got to take a wild ride up the mountain, saw a beautiful sunset with wine and fruit provided, and finished with dinner in a quaint little tavern.

The actual site of Delphi was beautiful to see and our guide Theodore was very passionate about the stories and past of the area. The drive was long but Yannis was a safe driver and made sure we were comfortable. We were able to sneak in a nap on the drive back so that we could continue our Greece adventures later into the evening after the long trip.

Divine Delphi Excursion

This is our first tour in Greece and one of the best. Delphi is a lot less crowded than Acropolis so we really had time to appreciate the Delphi Archaeological Museum and the archaeological site. We also had a really good tour guide who explained everything so well.

We planned a trip to celebrate my nieces high school graduation. My sister, niece, daughter and myself went and we had an amazing time. Angelic was absolutely wonderful at helping g pick out what islands we should go to and offering different ideas for what tours we would do. She was very easy to deal with and prompt in her responses. All through the trip she checked in with us to make sure everything was going smoothly and offered help when we couldn’t get into our first rental. We couldn’t figure out how to open the locked box. The drivers she arranged were always on time and made us feel well taken care of. The tour guides always had our reservations and if they were private tours they came to get us from our hotels. When we had to leave to catch our flights home Angelic had already phoned the hotel to make sure they would be there at 6:15 am to help us carry our luggage(if you’ve stayed in Santorini you would understand how important that is as the steep stairs are a bit crazy when you don’t live there! The hotels are beautiful on the cliff sides.) I have no complaints about the service we received from Kim Kim and Angelic at all and would recommend it to anyone!

Siena did a great job. My only negatives really don't concern KIM KIM. Diver was rude and not helpful in Santorini. Also the A/C did not work in the hotel.
The gentlemen who did our private Acropolis & Acropolis Museum Experience was great. So knowledgeable ,funny and kind. Also the gentlemen who did Meteora Private Off-the-Beaten-Path Villages & Countryside Excursion, Self-Guided Visit to Churches and Monasteries was very passionate and very kind.

Erica and Lea developed an amazing itinerary for us that gave us room to enjoy ourselves when we weren't on an fun and fascinating excursion. From Athens through the Cyclades islands of Mykonos, Naxos, Santorini to Crete, we enjoyed the weather, the food, the landscape and all of the historic ruins of archeaologic significance. The catamaran cruise from Crete was fantastic. The cruise with the Santorini Yacht Club i wouldn't recommend or do again. The crew wasn't friendly, the boat wasn't well taken care of and the food was awful.
Aside from this hiccup, we had a wonderful time. Sept-Oct is a great time to see Greece.
