This was our second trip to Greece. We loved Milos and Naxos on our first trip. We decided on Crete this time with a return to Athens, of course. Once again, Angela did a great job suggesting and organizing everything, and was a great help when we needed to make some changes during the trip. The private beach club, pool and accommodations at Elounda Gulf Villas were wonderful!

The trip was amazing. You guys are impeccable about thinking about all of the little details that matter when you are traveling. All of our guides were excellent - great people and so knowledgeable. The highlight for me was Summer Senses - that resort is incredible and the concierge Mimi was a standout. We appreciate everything that you did to help us and although we were initially not wowed by the Santorini Princess it ended up being quite lovely. Thank you for everything.

We really had a great time in Greece. We did not have any issues with transfers or tours that we set up through Eirini. We particularly enjoyed the cooking class that we participated in on the island of Crete. We also enjoyed our wine tour in Santorini. We would definitely use this service again.

The trip was fantastic and captured everything we wanted to experience within the 10 days. Our guides were fantastic, but our most favorite guide was Christos for day trip to Delos who made the visit fun and engaging, even for the kids. The hotels were all perfect as well. The Foundry was in a great location, close to the Acropolis and nearby to some superb restaurants. However, we really enjoyed staying at the Mojo Suites on Naxos - it was roomy for the four of us and the breakfast was outstanding. We even enjoyed afternoon drinks in the courtyard on our last day and chatted with the owner. We would definitely go back to Naxos!

We had such a wonderful time on our trip to Greece! From the beautiful hotels selected for us in Athens, Mykonos and Santorini, to the personalized tours we did in each location, everything was top notch! Athens was our first stop and we were well taken care of by the staff at the Niche Hotel. The location was perfect for exploring the neighborhoods of Plaka, Monastiraki, and Psyri, where the shopping and the food were plentiful. We really enjoyed our food tour, and our guide, Fotis, was knowledgable and fun! We got lucky and had excellent weather for our tour of the Akropolis and the Agora, and Athena did a wonderful job of covering centuries of history to help us better understand how ancient history shaped the city and the citizens of Athens. Our next stop was Mykonos, which we traveled to via ferry. While we were a bit nervous to take the ferry ride, everything went well and was relatively easy, and we were there in about three hours. Mykonos was everything we hoped for and more, including our home for the next three days, The George Hotel. We loved our hotel - the breakfast was amazing, the staff was helpful, the rooms and pools and sundecks were beautiful, and we were surprised to find out we had access to sunbeds directly on the beach through a sister hotel a five minute walk away. It was a relaxing three days of beautiful scenery, sunning, and some fun at SantAnna Beach Club! From there we took another ferry to Santorini, whose beauty was just unmatched. Anteliz Suites was the PERFECT location to make our base from, and ALL of the staff there really outdid themselves in taking care of us. We really enjoyed exploring the area and checking out the restaurants and shopping. We did a private tour with Sabine and she took us to some really off the beaten path places in Santorini, while giving us an excellent overview of both the history of the islands as well as the current industries, and our favorite stop was Emporio where we explored the mazes of the Castelli, which was purely magical. Overall, this was such a once in a lifetime trip and Sydney and the folks at KimKim really came through in planning exerything perfectly!

Athens: We had a lovely group tour of the Acropolis in the evening of our first night to beat our jet lag. Our tour guide Christina was knowledgeable, patient and great at weaving us through crowds to find spots to talk with us all. The next morning was one of our favorite tours- the walking mythology tour with Katarina- she was engaging, knowledgeable and fun. We had fun having Greek coffee and ‘reading the coffee grounds’ with her as well. We had a guide (more like a driver) in the evening to the Cape of Sounion and sunset at the Temple of Poisedon. We stopped at an amazing tavern from delicious food and the experience was great; the driver, George, was very nice, also smart, though he was not much of a guide. One negative was that he stopped on the way home to have a vape/smoke break.
Our last full day was a day trip to ancient Corinth. Our guide and driver was amazing again. We were interested in seeing Napflio and she was very flexible, able to check with her manager and make this edit for our itinerary.
Our hotel was wonderful for our family of 5. The only negative is that they could not provide our breakfast one morning as they can only service one room during a time slot and if it is taken, you are out of luck. Even with providing our time preference the night before, it was not feasible for them, and given our pre scheduled tours we did not have flexibility. They did give us some packed food to take with us.
Crete: We used our free time to wander the streets in Chania; stayed at Domes Zeen. Beautiful Hotel, only negative is distance to town and for a family of 5 it is difficult to find transportation. We either had to take 2 taxis or wait a long time for a van; food was incredible, service was wonderful and lodgings stunning! Our sailing day to Balos and Gramvousa was a huge family hit! This family company upgraded our vessel for the day and the mother (Ari) and son (Nico) were so wonderful about timing so to avoid the crowds in each location. We stopped for a swim in a small cove, and home made lunch (in the top favorite of meals eaten during the trip). At Balos we arrived as 2 bigger party boats were leaving and experienced stunning views, swam in the lagoon; Gramvousa was also gorgeous- the hike up was fine for us, but may be difficult in hot weather and depending of fitness levels.
My husband and I visited Monastriaki Winery on our own- loved the winery, but we were part of a cruise ship crowd and it defn affected the charm of the experience. We also booked a walking food tour of Chania on our own, this was also fantastic. Our last day was a visit to Elafonissi beach and a mountain village with another engaging driver/guide. He was wonderful with stories, knowledge, keeping us engaged during the driving hours and we all had another of our most favorite meals at Mila in the Eco Retreat. Our guide was Nicholas.
Naxos: Our guided village tour with Elizabeth was again amazing- we had fun and learned a lot with the walks through the streets, seeing all the fruiting trees and flowers. Mezze at the olive oil mill after tasting was delicious. The Kitron distillery was perfect as it was not too long, but interesting for the adults. Our lunch was delicious again! On our own we had dinner in the mountains at Rotunda-highly recommend for the views and food, esp if celebrating.
We also on our own explored the Chora and temple of Apollo; had dinner at Avalon one night.
Our sailing day did not materialize as planned due to winds and weather. We did enjoy what we were able to see immensely. The company graciously gave us some refund back as we did not get to Santorini. Our skipper was fun and gave us great tips as we swam around visited Koufonisi (picture perfect small island!!!).

We had an amazing vacation and booking through kimkim really did help take so much stress of coordination/transfers out of the picture so we could enjoy.
Some feedback- we had to adjust our last day to fly back to Athens the night before due to a short layover, which now with the EES would have been impossible to catch our flight home. given the change we could not recoup money for the Naxos hotel and we had to book another hotel in Athens. I would expect that the trip coordinators would be aware of these issues and when planning we would have discussed getting to Athens the night before. Unfortunately this was not the experience. Part of the reason to use a company with resources like this is awareness of these sorts of things in the itinerary—I was the one to bring it up weeks before travel when I heard from travel blogs that the EES was instituted in April and causing delays, and then request the changes. The EES was a planned event for many months and I wish we knew at the time of booking or even as it was initiated so we did not have to lose money.
We did have a slightly different, more positive experience with our trip to Spain in this very regard of planning transfers/travel, when issues arose.
All in all- we have really enjoyed booking with KimKim and will continue to in the future! The support, customer service, best guides and tours we have ever had, are great! We are thankful to have had an epic family vacation and thankful to the team helping coordinate this trip!

Sydney planned the most beautiful trip to Greece to celebrate my daughters graduation from college. Everything was perfect. Pir accomodations were incredible. The tours were amazing and our guides were fun and professional. Crete specifically Chania turned oit to possibly be our favorite destination but the place we stayed in Paros was the most incredible. We loved the beaches, thr small town villages and the food. Thank you for an incredible and memorable trip we will never forget! We had a wonderful experience with Marianna and the whole team! From figuring out what kind of trip we were looking to plan and shifting around our original itinerary to making sure every detail was handled flawlessly, Marianna was available to guide us every step of the way. She planned an amazing itinerary and all of the details (transfers/inner island flights/ferry tickets) were super organized. While we were in Greece the team was very responsive and the WhatsApp thread was super helpful in making sure we knew what was next and we never felt we needed to stress about anything! We did an amazing bike tour and cooking class on Naxos with Aurelia Bikes and it was our family’s favorite excursion but here were so many good ones to choose from. ATVs on Santorini and a boat tour allowed us to see much of the island. Excursions were all different and spaced so that we still had free time to explore on our own. The guided tours in Athens and Naxos were amazing as well. Overall we are so happy with the itinerary and the entire trip. Thank you so much for making our vacation so memorable and easy!

Eirini planned an amazing trip to Greece. I have never used a travel agent before and will always use one again. She made everything so easy, no detail was overlooked--from the hotels, private drivers, to the tour guides and excursions she planned. We started in Athens and stayed in a lovely apartment right near the Acropolis. We had a private guided tour with Elena of the Acropolis and the agora. She really knew the history and the mythology and made it interesting for the entire family. We moved on to naxos and stayed at boutique hotel that was with an easy walking distance of several restaurants and the beach. We had another tour of the village of chilaki, and visited a small farm with a petting zoo that might kids loved. The following day we did a hiking tour of several villages and got to eat more of the local cuisine. Finally we did a full day catamaran tour that included diving off the sailboat and to the Aegean and snorkeling. Finally we visited Santorini with a tour of the island, visiting a monastery a museum about the lost city of Atlantis, and another sailboat excursion. I have already highly recommended Kim Kim and Eirini to several of my friends. I can't wait to visit Greece again. We plan to use Kim Kim again next year when we plan our next trip abroad.

Working with Eirini was so easy. she listened from the very beginning as to what we were looking for in our vacation and then magically made it happen. She worked within my budget and each adventure was better than the last. The suite we had was breathtaking. We overlooked the sea and the cliffs. The bedrooms were large and living area were very comfortable. The only issue that I had is that we had 103 (we counted) steps to walk up and down each day and evening to get to and fro the room. I am a grandma and was with my granddaughter. She had no issue with it, but I had a problem. The breakfast was good and they would make eggs if you asked.

The apartment itself was fine, though you best not be overweight at all to fit into the tiny bathroom. The door to get into the building is never locked, so it is not very safe and once you do get into the building, there are are about 8 steps that you need to carry your heavy luggage up to reach the elevator. There are many restaurants around the building, but that is about all. The neighborhood is not near much of anything else.

The boat should have life preservers for those who are not good swimmers (like myself) and would like to go into the water. I have never been on a boat that did not have them and was disappointed. Also, about half of the passengers on the boat were vegetarians, yet they did not have any vegetarian burgers or sausages. There are so many choices for them out there. that was a bit disappointing as well.

The driver arrived on time and took us around to the usual stops that tourists want to see in Santorini. I mentioned that I wanted to see the ruins and he at first was hesitant to take us there and I had to insist. He admitted he never went there and knew nothing about it. I am a history buff and taught Greek history in middle school. He finally said he would and it was so worth the trip. I would have preferred a driver who knew of some of the "off the beaten path" places to see rather than the view of Santorini from a bunch of different points of view.

Gustavo helped me plan a fantastic trip to Greece for our family. He patiently worked with me to craft a the itinerary for the unique trip I had in mind, spanning the North to the South, that I would have been hesitant to plan on my own. The Kimkim app and chat/comment functions made planning the trip so much easier than the typical email back and forth, as I could see the detail in all of the hotels and tours we were considering. When I needed to speak in person to Gustavo, that was easy to schedule as well.

All of the guides on our trip were amazing and extremely knowledgeable. Two of our guides (in Mycenae and Monemvasia) were even trained archeologists! Our hiking guides in Meteora and Bali Canyon were experienced guides as was our river rafting guide in the North and our kayaking guide in Epidaurus. We loved our truffle hunting and pasta lunch in the forest as well as our Acropolis tasting tour (a great way to stay awake on our arrival day)! The positives are truly too numerous to mention.

The hotels we picked with assistance from Gustavo all met or exceeded expectations, and each of our car transfers were seamlessly executed, to our pleasant surprise. Communications while in country were easy and responsive when we inquired about making some adjustments for transfers during the course of the trip.

I would not hesitate to use Kimkim again for our next trip and recommend them without reservation!

Our 10-day journey through Greece was the perfect way to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived until our final sunset in Santorini, every detail was thoughtfully planned by Marianna, who created an experience that balanced history, culture, adventure, relaxation, and unforgettable memories.

Over the course of our trip, we visited Athens, Milos, and Santorini, accumulating an impressive 101,721 steps along the way. Somewhere between climbing the Acropolis, wandering the historic streets of Athens, exploring the breathtaking beaches of Milos, enjoying food tours through local neighborhoods, sailing through the Santorini caldera, and completing the famous caldera hike, I began to appreciate the wisdom of the Greek philosophers. Socrates encouraged us to examine life. Greece gave us 101,721 opportunities to do exactly that.

Athens was the perfect introduction to Greece. Standing atop the Acropolis and looking across a city that has shaped Western civilization for thousands of years was both humbling and inspiring. Our food tours introduced us to the flavors that define Greek culture, where every meal felt less like dining and more like participating in a tradition that has been passed down through generations.

Milos captured our hearts with its authentic charm and stunning natural beauty. We spent hours exploring picturesque villages, relaxing on extraordinary beaches, and discovering hidden corners of the island. One of the highlights was visiting the beautiful castle overlooking the island, where the panoramic views of the Aegean Sea created one of those rare moments that no photograph can fully capture.

Santorini provided a spectacular finale. Sailing through the caldera offered a unique perspective of the island’s dramatic volcanic landscape, while the caldera hike rewarded us with some of the most breathtaking views we have ever experienced. Every turn seemed to reveal another scene worthy of a postcard.

Beyond the scenery and historic sites, what impressed us most were the Greek people themselves. Everywhere we traveled, we met individuals who were deeply proud of their heritage and genuinely eager to share it. Whether speaking with local guides, restaurant owners, shopkeepers, or fellow travelers, we experienced a level of warmth and hospitality that made us feel welcomed rather than simply accommodated. Their love for their history was contagious, and their stories brought every destination to life.

Of course, no trip to Greece would be complete without experiencing its culinary staples. Fresh seafood, local cheeses, traditional pastries, olive oil, and dishes prepared from recipes perfected over generations became highlights of our daily adventures. Every meal was an opportunity to learn something new about the culture.

As Aristotle wrote, “Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work.” That perfectly describes Marianna’s approach to planning this trip. Her attention to detail, responsiveness, and thoughtful recommendations transformed a vacation into a once-in-a-lifetime anniversary celebration.

We returned home with incredible memories, a deeper appreciation for Greece’s remarkable history and culture, and 101,721 steps worth of stories. For anyone considering a journey to Greece, I cannot recommend Marianna and Kimkim highly enough.

My Daughter and I have just returned from the most amazing vacation to Greece that was booked through KimKim and was organised and taken care of 100% by Eirini.
We have loved Mamma Mia the movie and show since we saw it, my Daughters dream has been to go to Skiathos and Skopelos so Eirini made it happen. We explained what we wanted and Eirini came back with the most amazing trip that we have ever been on. Every step of the way was perfect starting off in Athens bring picked up from the airport and taken to The Foundry suites. We met the beautiful Elena who was our tour guide for the afternoon at the Acropolis and ending at one of the red that Eirini had recommended that we loved.
We were picked up and dropped off to every location along the way. In Skiathos we had a private boat tour around Skopelos and Skiathos stopping along the way to swim if we wished, take in the sights and having an amazing lunch cooked by the captain.
Then a ferry over to Skopelos for three nights staying at Minno and having again an amazing tour of all the Mamma Mia filming sites before enjoying the afternoon on Kastani beach. We had plenty of time to relax even though it was a full on trip. We’ve made the most amazing memories.
I will be booking a holiday again through Kimkim and will be reaching out to Eirini for our next adventure to Greece.
