Eirini and her team did an amazing job planning our trip to Greece. The hotels in all of our locations were very nice. The rooms were great and the locations were outstanding with easy access to everything we wanted to see. Our hotel in Santorini (Ilioperato) was in a great location with "postcard" views of the Caldera from our front porch. We loved that it was in quiet location away from the tourist crowds, but still close to great shopping and restaurants. Our hotel in Heraklion (Dimargio) was a hidden gem. We were surprised how new and modern it was, yet still in the heart of the city near all of the attractions and restaurants. Also, our drivers were great, especially Costantinos in Athens. Also, a special shout out to George (think that was his name) in Santorini who picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at the port. Both of the gentlemen we so nice and informative. They felt like old friends after driving us a few times. My wife gave them hugs when we left them the last time! The tours and excursions were also wonderful. Eirini will find something for everyone - food, culture, history and adventure. Loved our farm tour and cooking class in Santorini. Great to see something on the non-Caldera side of the island and learn more about the island. Our host and driver were locals and passionate about life, culture, and the history of Santorini. The Kim Kim App was fantastic and easy to use. It was great having all of our trip details at our fingertips. Eirini was always responsive. We recommend Kim Kim and Eirini if you are traveling to Greece. We will use Kim Kim for our future trips.

Very pleased with the newer modern hotel in the heart of the city close to everything you want to see. To hotel, while very new, was designed to look like it was built in ancient Crete, with a courtyard and dining area surrounded by old looking brick walls. Nice bar in the lobby and a great breakfast. Can't imagine there is a nicer hotel in the heart of Heraklion.

Great location with amazing views. This location does not have as many tourists walking by, which was nice compared to many of the other hotels we saw. Yet, it was still walking distance to the Fira shops and many nice restaurants. Double sized beds, so smaller than what we are used to, but manageable considering we enjoyed breakfast, drinks, and sunset views from our front porch. Amazing! Also, very nice and attentive staff.

What you expect in Santorini -white building on the cliffs of the Caldera. Smaller rooms, but that adds to the charm of the architecture of being in "old" Santorini.

It was nice learning more about the people who live and make a living on Santorini outside of tourism. We learned so much about agriculture and how they grow tomatoes and grapes on a volcanic island. We helped make tomato fritters and enjoyed our meal outside under a big shade tree. Very pleasant.

Sunset trip to the Temple of Poseidon in Cape Sounion

Loved our driver. I would recommend this trip be schedule one hour later, or at a time to make sure you are there for sunset. Otherwise, you can see the temple in about 20-30 minutes. It is a long, although beautiful, drive for a short visit. We were there earlier and would have had to wait for over an hour for sunset. However, it was starting to get very busy the closer it got to sunset. We decided to leave and our driver dropped us off at a nice local fish restaurant for dinner. We were the only non-locals at the restaurant, which was fun. It was nice to see some of the area outside of Athens.

This is a must do if you are visiting Athens. A guide is well worth the expanse. Skip the lines. From what we can tell, it is always busy there, so the guide gets you where you want to go and explains everything. If you can endure the heat, we went very late in the afternoon. When we left, we walked out onto part of Filopappou Hill (I think) and watched the sunset.

You are visiting one of the most historical wonders of the world. We happened to visit on July 4th, which was even more fun as we are from the United States. Standing at the center of the birthplace of democracy on our nation's 250th birthday was special.

Greece is such a beautiful place! We started in Athens and spent time on the islands of Mykonos, Naxos, and Santorini before returning to Athens. Highlights were the hike on Santorini (we did Oia to Imerovigli where we stayed), the farm cooking visit in Naxos, and the Acropolis in Athens.
Regarding kimkim, the booking was pretty easy and we used them specifically because our friends we were traveling with had used them for other trips. It did seem that once the trip started the support was lacking. No check ins, we had to discover changes and issues for ourselves and then alert them for help, and while the response were quick it felt like they should have been alerting us and assisting proactively given what we paid for the trip. They did offer a small refund (~2% of our trip cost) but generally if it wasn’t for our friend’s prior experience, we would not consider using them again.

Our trip with KimKim was absolutely perfect. Marianna did an excellent job putting together our custom trip to Greece. Every detail was taken care of and well communicated to us. Marianna was available on Whatsapp if we needed her. All the guides and drivers were extraordinary in their knowledge, they were very professional, nice and polite. All the hotel were great - we could not have had a better trip to Greece.

Our 25th anniversary trip to Greece was magical! Siena was amazing from start to finish. We worked together on building the best fit trip for my family of 4 and we were very happy with all the support we received even during our trip! This is our second trip with Kim Kim (last trip was Italy), can't wait to start planning the next one!

We loved every single moment in Greece and hope to return to visit more islands.
We loved all of our transfer drivers, especially Tony! He was hands down our favorite driver!!! Michael, who lead our biblical tour, In the Footsteps of St. Paul was fabulous as well.
Overall, the private boat trips were our favorite days, although the weather for our Mama Mia Tour kept us from seeing some of our destinations like the chapel.

This was our fourth trip planned through Kimkim and our friends’ first experience with the service. Unfortunately, based on this trip alone, our friends would not use Kimkim again, and we are now hesitant to use the service for future travel as well.

The attention to detail from our local specialist was lacking compared with our previous experiences. After receiving our final itinerary, we identified several discrepancies that we had to proactively point out and have corrected. Once in Greece, we also experienced transportation issues and found ourselves having to track down information and details rather than being proactively notified or assisted by the local agency.

While we ultimately enjoyed our trip and had many wonderful experiences, there are several things we would have done differently had we been given more thorough information and guidance during the planning process. One of the primary reasons we have used Kimkim in the past is for the expertise, attention to detail, and local insight that come with using a travel specialist. Unfortunately, we did not feel we received that same level of service on this trip.

My husband and I went on my honeymoon which was planned by Gustavo and everything went perfectly! Our transportation was always right on time and always in communication with us. AMAZING place. This hotel was the best. When we arrived the staff was so helpful, showed us around and gave us info on the area. We had a decent sized kitchen with everything you would need. The bathroom had anything you could have possibly needed as well as a washing machine. The bedroom had more than enough space and the deck attached was looking right over the water. Breakfast served every morning was also so so good! The best part of the hotel is the staff. They went above and beyond with everything.

I liked the location because it was quiet and calm so if you are looking for more nightlife you would need to go elsewhere but the restaurant right next to it, Kima- we went to everyday- it was SO good. We were able to walk down to other beaches and the walk was easy and very pretty. We were able to take the bus easily across the island and also had a car but did not use it much!

Our tour guide in Athens was so knowledgeable, we had such an amazing tour to the Parthenon. It is probably the most memorable part of my vacation.

This was our second trip to Greece. We loved Milos and Naxos on our first trip. We decided on Crete this time with a return to Athens, of course. Once again, Angela did a great job suggesting and organizing everything, and was a great help when we needed to make some changes during the trip. The private beach club, pool and accommodations at Elounda Gulf Villas were wonderful!

The trip was amazing. You guys are impeccable about thinking about all of the little details that matter when you are traveling. All of our guides were excellent - great people and so knowledgeable. The highlight for me was Summer Senses - that resort is incredible and the concierge Mimi was a standout. We appreciate everything that you did to help us and although we were initially not wowed by the Santorini Princess it ended up being quite lovely. Thank you for everything.

We really had a great time in Greece. We did not have any issues with transfers or tours that we set up through Eirini. We particularly enjoyed the cooking class that we participated in on the island of Crete. We also enjoyed our wine tour in Santorini. We would definitely use this service again.

The trip was fantastic and captured everything we wanted to experience within the 10 days. Our guides were fantastic, but our most favorite guide was Christos for day trip to Delos who made the visit fun and engaging, even for the kids. The hotels were all perfect as well. The Foundry was in a great location, close to the Acropolis and nearby to some superb restaurants. However, we really enjoyed staying at the Mojo Suites on Naxos - it was roomy for the four of us and the breakfast was outstanding. We even enjoyed afternoon drinks in the courtyard on our last day and chatted with the owner. We would definitely go back to Naxos!

This was by far our best experience of our trip! The four of us were spoiled for the entire cruis - the food was abundant and excellent; the service was beyond expectation. We had so much fun swimming, cliff diving and relaxing. I highly recommend Glaraki.

We had such a wonderful time on our trip to Greece! From the beautiful hotels selected for us in Athens, Mykonos and Santorini, to the personalized tours we did in each location, everything was top notch! Athens was our first stop and we were well taken care of by the staff at the Niche Hotel. The location was perfect for exploring the neighborhoods of Plaka, Monastiraki, and Psyri, where the shopping and the food were plentiful. We really enjoyed our food tour, and our guide, Fotis, was knowledgable and fun! We got lucky and had excellent weather for our tour of the Akropolis and the Agora, and Athena did a wonderful job of covering centuries of history to help us better understand how ancient history shaped the city and the citizens of Athens. Our next stop was Mykonos, which we traveled to via ferry. While we were a bit nervous to take the ferry ride, everything went well and was relatively easy, and we were there in about three hours. Mykonos was everything we hoped for and more, including our home for the next three days, The George Hotel. We loved our hotel - the breakfast was amazing, the staff was helpful, the rooms and pools and sundecks were beautiful, and we were surprised to find out we had access to sunbeds directly on the beach through a sister hotel a five minute walk away. It was a relaxing three days of beautiful scenery, sunning, and some fun at SantAnna Beach Club! From there we took another ferry to Santorini, whose beauty was just unmatched. Anteliz Suites was the PERFECT location to make our base from, and ALL of the staff there really outdid themselves in taking care of us. We really enjoyed exploring the area and checking out the restaurants and shopping. We did a private tour with Sabine and she took us to some really off the beaten path places in Santorini, while giving us an excellent overview of both the history of the islands as well as the current industries, and our favorite stop was Emporio where we explored the mazes of the Castelli, which was purely magical. Overall, this was such a once in a lifetime trip and Sydney and the folks at KimKim really came through in planning exerything perfectly!

Athens: We had a lovely group tour of the Acropolis in the evening of our first night to beat our jet lag. Our tour guide Christina was knowledgeable, patient and great at weaving us through crowds to find spots to talk with us all. The next morning was one of our favorite tours- the walking mythology tour with Katarina- she was engaging, knowledgeable and fun. We had fun having Greek coffee and ‘reading the coffee grounds’ with her as well. We had a guide (more like a driver) in the evening to the Cape of Sounion and sunset at the Temple of Poisedon. We stopped at an amazing tavern from delicious food and the experience was great; the driver, George, was very nice, also smart, though he was not much of a guide. One negative was that he stopped on the way home to have a vape/smoke break.
Our last full day was a day trip to ancient Corinth. Our guide and driver was amazing again. We were interested in seeing Napflio and she was very flexible, able to check with her manager and make this edit for our itinerary.
Our hotel was wonderful for our family of 5. The only negative is that they could not provide our breakfast one morning as they can only service one room during a time slot and if it is taken, you are out of luck. Even with providing our time preference the night before, it was not feasible for them, and given our pre scheduled tours we did not have flexibility. They did give us some packed food to take with us.
Crete: We used our free time to wander the streets in Chania; stayed at Domes Zeen. Beautiful Hotel, only negative is distance to town and for a family of 5 it is difficult to find transportation. We either had to take 2 taxis or wait a long time for a van; food was incredible, service was wonderful and lodgings stunning! Our sailing day to Balos and Gramvousa was a huge family hit! This family company upgraded our vessel for the day and the mother (Ari) and son (Nico) were so wonderful about timing so to avoid the crowds in each location. We stopped for a swim in a small cove, and home made lunch (in the top favorite of meals eaten during the trip). At Balos we arrived as 2 bigger party boats were leaving and experienced stunning views, swam in the lagoon; Gramvousa was also gorgeous- the hike up was fine for us, but may be difficult in hot weather and depending of fitness levels.
My husband and I visited Monastriaki Winery on our own- loved the winery, but we were part of a cruise ship crowd and it defn affected the charm of the experience. We also booked a walking food tour of Chania on our own, this was also fantastic. Our last day was a visit to Elafonissi beach and a mountain village with another engaging driver/guide. He was wonderful with stories, knowledge, keeping us engaged during the driving hours and we all had another of our most favorite meals at Mila in the Eco Retreat. Our guide was Nicholas.
Naxos: Our guided village tour with Elizabeth was again amazing- we had fun and learned a lot with the walks through the streets, seeing all the fruiting trees and flowers. Mezze at the olive oil mill after tasting was delicious. The Kitron distillery was perfect as it was not too long, but interesting for the adults. Our lunch was delicious again! On our own we had dinner in the mountains at Rotunda-highly recommend for the views and food, esp if celebrating.
We also on our own explored the Chora and temple of Apollo; had dinner at Avalon one night.
Our sailing day did not materialize as planned due to winds and weather. We did enjoy what we were able to see immensely. The company graciously gave us some refund back as we did not get to Santorini. Our skipper was fun and gave us great tips as we swam around visited Koufonisi (picture perfect small island!!!).

We had an amazing vacation and booking through kimkim really did help take so much stress of coordination/transfers out of the picture so we could enjoy.
Some feedback- we had to adjust our last day to fly back to Athens the night before due to a short layover, which now with the EES would have been impossible to catch our flight home. given the change we could not recoup money for the Naxos hotel and we had to book another hotel in Athens. I would expect that the trip coordinators would be aware of these issues and when planning we would have discussed getting to Athens the night before. Unfortunately this was not the experience. Part of the reason to use a company with resources like this is awareness of these sorts of things in the itinerary—I was the one to bring it up weeks before travel when I heard from travel blogs that the EES was instituted in April and causing delays, and then request the changes. The EES was a planned event for many months and I wish we knew at the time of booking or even as it was initiated so we did not have to lose money.
We did have a slightly different, more positive experience with our trip to Spain in this very regard of planning transfers/travel, when issues arose.
All in all- we have really enjoyed booking with KimKim and will continue to in the future! The support, customer service, best guides and tours we have ever had, are great! We are thankful to have had an epic family vacation and thankful to the team helping coordinate this trip!

Sydney planned the most beautiful trip to Greece to celebrate my daughters graduation from college. Everything was perfect. Pir accomodations were incredible. The tours were amazing and our guides were fun and professional. Crete specifically Chania turned oit to possibly be our favorite destination but the place we stayed in Paros was the most incredible. We loved the beaches, thr small town villages and the food. Thank you for an incredible and memorable trip we will never forget! This is our 3rd trip using Kimkim and we are aboit to book our 4th to Japan! Thank yoi for helping us plan unforgettable vacation experiences!

We had a wonderful experience with Marianna and the whole team! From figuring out what kind of trip we were looking to plan and shifting around our original itinerary to making sure every detail was handled flawlessly, Marianna was available to guide us every step of the way. She planned an amazing itinerary and all of the details (transfers/inner island flights/ferry tickets) were super organized. While we were in Greece the team was very responsive and the WhatsApp thread was super helpful in making sure we knew what was next and we never felt we needed to stress about anything! We did an amazing bike tour and cooking class on Naxos with Aurelia Bikes and it was our family’s favorite excursion but here were so many good ones to choose from. ATVs on Santorini and a boat tour allowed us to see much of the island. Excursions were all different and spaced so that we still had free time to explore on our own. The guided tours in Athens and Naxos were amazing as well. Overall we are so happy with the itinerary and the entire trip. Thank you so much for making our vacation so memorable and easy!
