We had a wonderful time in Greece. Everything flowed extremely smoothly, which was top-notch. All of our excursions were fun and interesting.
Our private Acropolis tour with Penelope was a great first impression of a tour guide in Athens. Not only was she educated and an experienced archaeologist and classics lover if mythology, , she was polite and extremely fun to be around. Loved her!! She was patient snd kind as well. It was a little awkward to eat and drink in front of her but we got over it.

I enjoyed the trip to Delphi with Janis-he was a great driver and very friendly. Our tour guide in Delphi was also knowledgeable but very sarcastic and I felt rushed. The restaurant Janis took us to in Delphi was beautiful and delicious.

I would suggest for the excursion of Traditional cooking at Village Farm, you let visitors know that this is a basic cooking class that is strictly vegetarian. It was mostly chopping a few vegetables and stuffing them into another vegetable. This was not what I expected and the young 22-year-old man named Kostas even complimented us on being able to chop vegetables quickly. We all can cook. We were under the assumption that it would be a little more traditional meal and it was disappointing. Even the dessert was rudimentary- graham crackers and melted chocolate . Not worth it. If there was not a farm tour with cheese afterwards, I would probably give this two stars. Least favorite of trip.
Santorini was wonderful and our hotel was fabulous except for the 69 stairs down to it thank God for our porter Louis who took our bags down to the hotel. On the day that we were leaving to come home, pick up was at 6 AM when no Porter is there. Thank God I asked the porter how we would get our bags back up to the top. We had to make arrangements for the Porter to come in before his work time and pay for him to take our luggage up 69 stairs. I would suggest letting people know that this is a real dealbreaker if I was to come back to this hotel. There would be no way for us to bring our luggage up to catch our taxi to the airport if we did not think about this prior and make arrangements.
George - Private island village and Akrotiri day trip - was a great guide that took us high into the city. He even let us stop and purchase some pottery as we made our way down from the castle. I would suggest that you let people know that this is a very extraneous activity, which includes lots of up and down with stairs. Thank God we were all in shape and could make it, but there is no way anyone with mobility issues would be able to do these excursions in Santorini.
Last excursion was Sunset Caldera cruise. What a great experience that we had on this private excursion. We felt a little like royalty that we had the whole boat to ourselves. The meal was fantastic, and the two young men were lovely. I can’t remember their names, so hopefully Bev or Wendy can. We really enjoyed this as our last sendoff.
Overall, this was a great memorable trip with special friends. Thank you for all your planning and help and hopefully this review will shed some light for other future travelers and what the offerings are in Greece.

This hotel was a great location, but too many stairs to get down to your room with luggage. I believe it was 69 steps and there was no one to take our luggage back up in the morning. We did have to pay the porter to come in early at 6 AM so we could make our flight back to Athens. The staff was fantastic.

We love the rooms and that the bed was up a few stairs. Shared balcony was great to have a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Incredible.

I don’t think anything could be approved about the location when the cruise ships come in and park right in front of the hotel down at the water edge. The cruise ships ruined this locations view.

Louis the porter was an amazing help getting our luggage down to our hotel room and also back up. This was no small feet when our luggage weigh 50 pounds each.

What a great hotel that has a pool and a wonderful buffet ( at the hotel next-door ) to start your day off. The beach was only about 100 yards away and we were able to go down there and experience swimming in the sea. Pool closed a little early-8pm, but you were able to go to the pool at the hotel next-door.

Great location in downtown Athens. Felt very safe. The elevator to get up to our room on the sixth floor was about as big as a closet. Only three people could fit in there or one person with luggage. Extremely claustrophobic, which caused me to take the stairs up six flights instead of getting into that tiny tiny elevator. The buffet was amazing as an introduction to Greek breakfast cuisine. I was even able to make Greek coffee over hot sand, which was very traditional and memorable. View of the Acropolis in Parthenon was total bonus. I’m giving it 3 stars because of the elevator.

Traditional Cooking Experience at Village Farm

I would have to say that this is a rudimentary class on how to chop vegetables. We thought we were going to be making a more complicated traditional meal. Everything was very, very basic and a little disappointing. We finished making the stuffed green pepper vegetarian meal in about 10 minutes. They do not use meat therefore everything you make is vegetarian according to our guide.

The farm tour was the highlight. We were there for hours and if we didn’t have this, it wouldn’t be at all enjoyable.

Our staff person that showed us how to chop vegetables was not a super experienced cook , but a young 22-year-old man. We showed him how to cut vegetables quickly and he even commented that he never had people cut vegetables as quickly as we did I felt that the expectation was we were going to get an experienced grandmotherly type of person to teach us a well loved recipe.

This is not a guided tour. This is you being on your own walking around the city? Not much to review if you don’t get out into the city.

The KimKim team for Greece really knocked it out of the park for our 10 day tour or main land Greece and several islands. The activities they suggested for us were spot on for what what we like to do and were the perfect small groups. The accommodations were perfect boutique hotels in the best locations that allowed us to walk around town and really get a feel for the local culture. We visited, Athens, Paros (Alike), Santorini (Kamari Beach) and Crete (Chania) so there were a lot of logistics as planes, taxies and ferries were required and everything was incredibly smooth. When I did have a question mid trip our POC Lea had answers for me in under 15 minutes. This really was a dream come true tip and we can't wait to plan our next trip using KimKim. Huge thanks to our in country planner Ionnis and our coordinator and trip POC, Lea. You guys crushed it!

I have no words to describe how much we loved this hotel. We had the Belmomdo suite with the most amazing views of Old Harbor, perfectly walkable to tons of shopping and restaurants with the best views ever. If I could move into our suite I would. Please stay here if you are visiting Chania! The staff is incredible and even helped up with take away breakfast when we had early morning activities.

Stunning hike, super fun but pretty challenging. If you are not in good shape or a decent hiker you may want to look at another gorge hike. We loved this hike but want to throw a word of caution. The views are stunning and the beach, beach town and restaurants at the end are amazing!

Our trip to Athens, Paros, Antiparos and Naxos exceeded our expectations. Erica was very helpful in planning the trip and the KimKim app worked well in allowing us to seamlessly keep track of our itinerary on the road. Some of the service providers who were particularly friendly and helpful along the way - Nasos Thanasas was our driver to and from the Athens airport, the staff at the Stelia Mare Hotel in Paros, the guides at the Traditional Cooking experience on a Naxos Village Farm and the Naxos Private Wine Experience.

We were not aware of the Cycladic summer winds that are common and did in fact have high winds our first couple of days in Paros. That is the risk you take in traveling to the Cyclades in the summer months and the weather was otherwise ideal. But it may make sense to consider making the trip further into the shoulder seasons on either side of summer.

Renting cars was easy although the driving is a bit challenging with very narrow roads and dodging tour buses on Naxos. In particular, we took a car on the ferry from Paros to Antiparos and very much enjoyed a day on Antiparos exploring the cave there and relaxing on Soros Beach.

We wound up with what was basically a layover day in Athens at the Athens Riviera Hotel on the way out as our flight home the following day was in the early AM. We wish we had taken an earlier flight from Naxos to Athens to have more time in Athens on that day.

In total, we chose several days on Paros and Naxos at Erica's recommendation and do not regret the choice. Other friends had told us Mykonos and Santorini are beautiful but much more crowded. We are not Greece experts by any means and there are many other islands to consider.

The Athenian Riviera hotel was a lovely hotel with beautiful rooms, but it felt quite isolated without much within walking distance. The hotel itself was lovely, but it felt like being in the States rather than in Greece. The logistics of getting there and back were not ideal for our schedule.

The day cruise sailing around Paros was lovely. The food was surprisingly amazing for a day cruise, and the staff was excellent. It was quite windy, but that's just Mother Nature.

The private wine experience in Naxos was very good. Our guide was passionate about what he does, and we enjoyed the tour. Just a tip for others, I'll suggest wearing tennis shoes for comfort, as there's a bit of walking involved.

Traditional Cooking Experience at Village Farm

The traditional cooking experience at a village farm in Naxos was delightful. We cooked stuffed tomatoes and peppers with vegetable and rice, added tzatziki sauce, and made a chocolate dessert. The setting was a nice old family farm, and the food was delicious.

Angela (Aggeliki) is the ultimate professional for planning a vacation! Her communication skills are excellent and very timely. It seems no matter when we had a question she'd reply quickly. Our trip to Greece was spectacular! We had just the right amount of activities and free time each day of our 10 day trip. Her ability to customize according to our desires is unmatched for any vacation I have ever had. The accommodations, transfers, excursions, restaurants and overall advice were spot on. We visited Athens, Kalabaka, Naxos and Santorini. Many locals were impressed with our visit to Kalabaka (Meteora) because so many people visit the islands and, besides Athens, forget about the rest of the mainland. There, with the amazing driver/guide, we visited incredible monasteries, did an awesome Hermit Caves Sunset Hiking Tour and a fun truffle hunting excursion. This cool dog hunts for truffles, digs them up and brings them to its owner. This was super cool! They had a whole set up in the brush where a chef prepared a penne, mushroom, garlic, white truffle oil meal with truffle shaving from the ones "we" found! In Athens, we did a great Mythology tour, visited the Acropolis and ate incredible food. Our Aegean Lush Bike tour in Naxos was such a blast! We rode electric bikes and toured all over this fantastic island which is largely self sustaining. That evening we had an amazing tour of old town Naxos and ate phenomenal food. On day 2 in Naxos, our private cruise was so cool! We visited Antiparos and Paros and our guide was so nice and informative, as all of guides were. In Santorini, we experienced an awesome sunset kayaking tour of the coastline. Our guide was simply astounding! Finally, our 8 hour tour of Santorini was so fun and we learned so much! All in all, this was our favorite vacation ever! We have been many places. In hindsight, it was Angela's skillful set up that made it so amazing! Greece is a special place with wonderful people and even better food! Angela lives there and is the premiere travel guide for anyone who is planning to visit Greece!

All the tours were great and the guides were passionate about sharing cultural and historical knowledge. Meteora was stunning and our sunset hike was amazing! We really appreciated Yannis. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy. We especially loved Naxos. The bike tour was a highlight as well as our wine and dinner. Both guides were great! In Santorini the highlight was the kayaking tour and dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our guide and fabulous dinner after the sunset!
I have some feedback to share about the truffle hunting. The hunting part was extremely short, about 20 minutes. The lunch was great but we were still full from breakfast so couldn’t really enjoy the food.

The excursions were good with the exception of the cooking class. All we did was chop vegetables and the chef was not a chef but a friend of the farmer. I realize the need to support the farmers but this was really weak and cheaply done. No meat at all in a traditional Greek dish.
Wine tasting was ok but went to too many which seemed like same wines.
Favorites were two boat outings

We had such an amazing trip and its hard to say where we liked the best. I would say Santorini was the most beautiful as far as the the main town we stayed in and the boat cruises on both Crete and Santorini was my favorite.. The water in Crete in Balos was gorgeous and probably the bluest and clearest water I ever swam in. The cooking class was our least favorite as it was not really cooking in our opinion as was more chopping for the the cook and the cook was not really a chef. That was our least favorite. Overall we had an amazing trip and would definitely go back. The food and the people were wonderful. Thank you Siena and Lea for putting together such a wonderful trip! Patty and Frank

We had a wonderful, and stress-free trip thanks to the incredible service of Kim Kim. Knowing all our rides were prearranged made things so easy!
They picked a wonderful location at the Melidron within a couple minutes walk to all the restaurants we could ever want. The choice of Naxos Island was perfect for us, especially after comparing with what we heard of Santorini and Mykonos from other travelers. It is more laid-back, less crowded and everything is more affordable. The location of our place in Athens was great too, and we were able to explore around on our own and find our way back thanks to Google Maps. Our favorite tours were on Naxos. One was with Iliana, walking from village to village, tasting and eating along the way. She was very knowledgeable and great company. We loved the One-on-one style, where we could get to know something about each other.
We also enjoyed our farm visit, I'm sorry not to remember our guides name, I should have written it down. (Stavros, maybe?) He was also very personable and picked a perfect dish for us to prepare. We loved walking around the farm meeting Wilson and his sheep family.
We also got acquainted with some of the staff at the hotel. Julia and Foteini every day at breakfast and evening at the pool bar, and Teo on our last day.
Of course food was the highlight of the trip, and starting every morning with the fabulous breakfast at the Melidron, was what we looked forward to each day.
The beach scene wasn't our style, with side by side umbrella and beach beds that were for rent for a whole day. If we were younger, and had more time, we might have rented a scooter to explore the island on our own to find less crowded beaches. We did take our own masks and fins, so we went for a quick snorkle at the less crowded end, though there wasn't much to see.
We didn't get to do our catamaran trip because of the wind conditions, but having talked to a couple that did it, we weren't all that disappointed. They said the boat ride was bumpy and they didn't see too many fish.
We appreciated the great customer service of Kim Kim; they let everyone know about Dan's birthday, so they brought him a special dessert with a candle at the pool, and they had a cake with a candle at our farm lunch in addition to the dessert we made ourselves. Very sweet!
We've never taken an agent-organized trip before, and it was a treat to have most of the planning done for us!

We were so pleased with our entire tour with Kimkim. Every transfer, every driver was friendly and always on time!!! We never worried about our pick up or our meeting places. Our guide, from “ Greek Travel Tellers” , CATHERINA, was wonderful and passionate about showing us the neighborhoods!! SANDRA, of Greek Travel Tellers, was also passionate & very knowledgeable about the sunset tour of the Acropolis ! In Mykonos, our neighborhood guide, PACO, was very informative friendly, and yes , passionate about showing us the neighborhoods! In Santorini, Santorini Road Trips: our guide/ driver was KOSTAS!! He too was passionate, informative & friendly. At the end of our tour, we felt like family! Our last tour with LENA, of course Santorini Food Tour, was so informative & yummy! Our trip to Greece was outstanding. I especially appreciate Irene’s recommendations on visiting the smaller islands of Tinos and Naxos. It was a highlight of my trip to meet Marinos and experience his inn and style of fish aging. Both dinners we enjoyed there were delightful and I would come back to Tinos and Marathia first chance.

All of the guides Irene recommended were top notch. I especially enjoyed Antigoni who shared a few of the neighborhoods of Athens. She was adorable and full of information and insight into the city and its culture. Matina was full of passion and enthusiasm in taking us through Nafplio and I thoroughly enjoyed learning more about Greek history.

The accommodations were perfect, the drivers were on time and full of information as well. I cannot tell you how impressed I am with the knowledge of everyone we met - guides as well as drivers and the people of Greece.

This was the second trip Irene helped me plan - I appreciate her so much and cannot praise her abilities enough!

Everything that Kimkim planned for us was amazing and everything happened like a well oiled machine. We lived all of the tours specially the food tours. Angela checked in often to be sure everything was going well and answered any questions we had the entire time. We will be using Kimkim to plan any of our trips in the future

We absolutely loved our trip to Greece. Angela created the perfect itinerary for us that mixed the right amount of sightseeing and also enjoyment of the beauty with relaxation around beautiful beaches. We loved the small villages tour in Naxos. It was breathtaking, and the sights in Santorini could not be beat. Angela created a trip that was perfect for me and my husband, and also for my 10-year-old son. She added a Greek God tour of the Acropolis for my Percy Jackson loving son and booked a cool Atlantis Tour to keep him interested and entertained throughout our trip. Every detail was carefully planned, and even the travels between the cities within Greece was a fun adventure!

We (Mary Beth and Christy) really enjoyed our time in Greece! We loved being able to visit 3 areas of Greece - Corfu, Athens and Santorini. The excursions that were planned for us truly gave us an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the culture of the islands and mingle with the locals.
Our favorite excursions were the cooking class in Corfu, the winery tours in Santorini, the food and culture tour in Corfu, the catamaran boat ride in Santorini and the e-bike trip in Santorini. Honestly there was NOT an excursion that we did not enjoy!!! Gustavo truly did a wonderful job of planning different excursions for each of our days in Greece so we felt as if we had a good variety.
The one suggestion we would make is to stress the importance of downloading the Aegean app before leaving the states. We were not aware that we needed to do this so it was stressful for us as we arrived to Athens ( the Athens airport was extremely busy and crowded and we were tired from our 10 hour flight from the states). We were scrambling to get the app downloaded so we could have our boarding passes ready to board our flight to Corfu.
Thanks to Gustavo for planning a wonderful trip to Greece for us!!

This hotel scenery was a highlight of our vacation. Staff was very friendly and help with our bags and gave a great tour of the hotel amenities. This hotel was simply amazing. From the hostess, Dora to the bag carrier, ( who carried our bag up inclined stairs to the highest level ) everyone we encountered was helpful and gave great suggestions and recommendations on things during our stay. Our room was simple yet comfy. Very comfortable in the shower had great temperature and water pressure. The location was about eight minute walk to the main city. When coming back up to the hotel, everything wasn’t walking distance.

I was very suspicious of using an online platform to plan our trip, but I just didn't have time to do the research needed before we were planning to leave. Gustavo was great. He was available on phone, by virtual meeting and he and his assistant Leah were very responsive to my messages.

Having everything right in the KimKim app made it easier to find details quickly when we were traveling.

Gustavo did a phenomenal job of getting to know our price points, comfort levels, goals for the trip and delivered far above and beyond what I could have dreamed. It was a very personalized trip, which I also didn't expect from this form of planning.

The accommodations that he found were safe, clean, really fun and very centrally located so that we could easily walk wherever we needed to go. Our tours were perfect for our family's unique interests and really well paced to the capabilities of everyone traveling. Recommendations for meals were spot on. When we asked to change a tour at the last minute, he substituted a fantastic alternative in under 24 hours at no additional cost. Pre-travel advice was great. We were very well prepared and we were completely comfortable when we arrived in country.

We recently returned from a 10-day family trip to Greece for my husband and I and our 4 kids and we could not have been happier with the service provided by Angela, our travel agent.

From the very beginning, her communication was absolutely incredible. She responded quickly to every question—often even out of hours and on weekends—which gave us so much confidence and peace of mind during the planning process.

Every detail of our trip was perfectly coordinated. The drivers communicated seamlessly with the boat drivers and other transfers, making everything flow effortlessly and allowing us to truly relax knowing all logistics were taken care of. There was only one very minor change to our itinerary (due to ferry time changing), and Angela not only notified us immediately but had already taken care of coordinating with the drivers so there was no stress on our end.

Her accommodation choices were spot on—very comfortable, well-located, quite luxurious and perfect for our family. The activities she suggested were equally fantastic, giving us a great mix of culture, relaxation, and fun.

This was one our best trips and the third we’ve booked with KimKim. We started after a one week cruise around the Greek islands, and continued on with 10 days in Greece. This trip was well planned, with a variety of places, activities, and methods of arrival (planes, ferries, car services). Gustavo is based in KimKim HQ and I was worried about local Greek knowledge and access to him. No problem! He was highly responsive, walked through the trip plan via a video (his idea), and when we had immediate issues to be solved, someone from KimKim jumped into the What’s App chat. Problems solved.

In Santorini we did the Fira Food and Views Walking Tour, the Jeep 4x4 off-road experience, and the Sunset Caldera Catamaran trip. All were small groups and personal, where we got new views of the island and Greece overall. Very high quality vendors were chosen.

In Paros, our snorkeling adventure was cancelled due to high winds, so we just rented a car and drove around. Pretty easy. There are less “experience” options on Paros (vs Santorini or Crete, for example), and we were ok with the vacation being more low key.

This is such a pretty property! It’s a big place with lots of variety, but still personal in its service. Shout out to the front desk team including Kristina who welcomed and oriented us to Paros. The room was looking out at the pool, clean, on the small side, but with good amenities including a fabulous heavy duty clothing steamer which we loved for our linen! We used the pool and the beach, both with comfortable lounge chairs that are light enough to move around. The sea is warm this time of year) so swimming was nice, and there was beverage/food service at both. Yamis and his team at both restaurants made us feel at home, starting with our welcome drink. Breakfast was absolutely amazing - you order small plates off a huge menu, and get as many items as you want. Terrific coffee. Dinner at their restaurant called Rada exceeded our expectations. Our two servers, both named Katarina, took great care of us. The food was outstanding.

Location is in Imerovigli which is a good alternative to Oia. You can cab or bus to Oia for one day, but here you can walk to 2 villages. The front desk was always available and helpful. We had the Cave Suite with hot tub, used the tub once. This room doesn’t overlook the caldera, so upgrade if you want that. The room is clean, there’s a good size refrigerator and hot water kettle.. The bed was comfortable, A/C strong, shower good, robes and slippers provided - which is nice. There is no separate hair conditioner, so bring your own if you use it. They only provide 2 water bottles when you check in, and it would be great if they provided 2 per-day. The pool is decent size and right next to the bar. Breakfast was terrific, and we had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was quite good with fabulous sunset views.

Alex picked up us and since we were the only people on the “caravan” tour that day, we went all over Santorini with Alex in his jeep. We covered a lot of the island, had a nice beach break, a very light dinner at an authentic restaurant but one that had absolutely no ambience, and a beautiful sunset view before we went back to town.

This was one of the best food tours we’ve ever been on! Lena was fabulous, we went to 7 places, we ate and drank for 4 hours. The food choices and venues were so good! It as my birthday, so Lena surprised me with candles in the Loukoumades (fried dough balls with honey syrup, served with ice cream!). Highly recommend this.
