Family Trip of a lifetime to Greece!

Tassos and Travel12 were just what we hoped for. We had a group of 8 adults and a very ambitious agenda, hey on history and experiences. We also had limited time due to jobs and schedules, and very much wanted to see Athens, Delphi, and Crete. We wanted to experience food, culture, sailing, hiking and museums in just 10 days. Tassos delivered a wonderfully thought-out agenda, combining 'theme days' with efficient transportation. Whenever we encounter a glitch or had a question, we got answers within a few minutes. All of Travel12 was extremely responsive and helpful. Tassos even met my husband and I for coffee in Athens one morning, and it was a pleasure to meet him and hear more about his journey. He really understood our family (parents, four adult children, and two boyfriends). We had some wonderful tour guides who added a lot of value to the trip, and became our friends for the day. Restaurant recommendations and included meals were outstanding. All logistical details including air transfer to and from Crete went smoothly. Hotel Reviews
Bill and John Apartments were styling and adequate. Great walking distances from key places, but not much for views and bathrooms were small with a couple of leaking showers. Hot water was limited. Kitchens were very nice.
Manila Boutique and Suites were a wonderful place to stay. My husband and I had a balcony with a view of the mountains for morning coffee. The breakfast buffet was quite nice. The four adult children and their friends stayed in the villa which was spacious and comfortable. They also had access to a pool and patio, where we all spent many hours having fun and enjoying eachother's company. The decor is lovely, and the staff was friendly, efficient, and very helpful!
I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It was just a place to stay before our flights home the next day, but turned out to be a wonderful stopover. Tassos booked rooms with a view of the sea and little balconies, which was a real treat! The views were beautiful, and we could smell the salt air and get a nice breeze. We had a short walk to a row of coastal taverna featuring fresh seafood for dining at night. In the morning many in our party had really nice walks on the beach, watching the ferries come and go before our flight. We took the free airport shuttle which was clean, comfortable, and on time.
Activity Review
We loved our driver for most of our time in Athens. He became part of our group, and always had a smile and chilled bottles of water at the ready!
