We had a fantastic time in Iceland, and so much of it was thanks to Gummi and his expertise, patience, and kindness. He helped us plan a trip that was jampacked, but not overwhelming. He was totally responsive to my questions, and even fielded a panicked phone call when I could not find a meeting place for our horseback riding excursion.

Some wonderful highlights were the walking food tour that jumpstarted our first day there (we ❤️ Victor), Sky Lagoon (luxurious and fun), horseback riding on the beach in Vik (we got to experience the unique Icelandic horse trot), an unbelievable ice cave tour (the drive there takes you through Game of Thrones kind of territory,), and a lengthy, but totally worth-it trip to the glacier in Jokulsarlon (saw seals, blue glaciers, and a piece of an iceberg fall off). Also loved loved loved Borealis Hotel!!

I have never really used a travel service before, and I am so so glad I did. Thank you Gummi and Kim Kim!

Hotel Review
Borealis Hotel
Selfoss

Simply the most charming, delightful hotel. The most fun, welcoming staff recently renovated, and re-designed the whole space, apparently, and it felt like being in a combo of an art gallery and your grandmother’s living room – in the best way!

Thank you so much for the kind words.
I'm happy to hear Borealis Hotel was such a pleasant surprise. With so many new hotels in Iceland, I have not had the chance to experience all of them through my job as a driver guide, so I do definitely take notes of which hotels our travelers prefer.
No surprise that you liked the ice caves, horseback riding, and the glacier lagoon though, Iceland is simply unique, isn't it?
All the best, and here's for hoping you return soon!
