Our group of six people spent 14 amazing days in Greece, and we never had any problems with our itinerary or reservations. The hotel accommodations and tours were as described in the our itinerary and the guides were excellent. We visited Athens, Naxos, Santorini, and Crete. We interacted with over 8 guides and 10 drivers. All the tours and transfers were on time and we traveled in luxury private cars. Our local specialist, Angela was readily available to answer any questions we had. She always responded quickly and on a few occasions made some last-minute changes we requested. I am so happy to recommend Angela for your trip to Greece.

Hotel Reviews
18 Grapes Hotel Naxos
Naxos

18 Grapes Hotel in Naxos was our favorite of the four hotels during our Greece trip. This hotel hit all the marks, beautiful property, elegant rooms, quality food, and genuinely friendly and attentive service. Breakfast selections were from a menu and made to order. Eating areas included indoor/outdoor areas. The hotel staff were ALL so accommodating and attentive. They made us feel like we were part of their family. This was the hotel where I felt most relaxed and happy to sit by the pool and enjoy the sun.

Authenticity & Character
The hotel is modern with a Grecian design. The pool and eating areas were very clean and inviting. Sunsets could be viewed from the outdoor cocktail lounge which included an infinity pool.
Location
We could walk to shops, restaurants and the beach.
Staff
The staff is what maked this hotel so enjoyable. When we arrived we were greeted by the hotel owner, and introduced to many of the staff. Throughout our stay we were treated with friendly smiles and attentive service by all staff members.
Cleanliness & Comfort
The hotel is new and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. All of our rooms had private patio areas and partial views of the sea.
Iliovasilema Hotel and Suites
Santorini

The Iliovasilema Hotel in Santroini had beautiful views of the sea with a patio area outside the room to sit and enjoy the views. The hotel is built into the side of the mountainous terrain of Santorini which requires access to the rooms by narrow stairways. The size of the rooms seems to vary considerably. We were assigned an extremely small room.

Authenticity & Character
The hotel provided the authentic views of the sea often expected in Santorini. Breakfast was made to order from a menu and brought to the room. However, the rooms seem to vary considerably at this hotel. We stayed in a very small room which had the bedroom against the rock of the mountain cliff. The back wall of the tiny bedroom was the rough rock face of the mountain cliff. Our travel companions had much bigger rooms and were paying the same price. After the first night, we were moved to a bigger room, but we had to pay extra for the upgrade. Better descriptions of the room layouts would have been helpful.
Location
The location was good because it allowed amazing views of the sea. The hotel was walking distances to other hotels, however the hotel was not walking distance to any shopping areas or restaurants.
Staff
The hotel staff was available when needed. They have to bring (carry) your luggage to the room because of the narrow stairways.
Cleanliness & Comfort
The room was clean and comfortable. Nothing extraordinary considering the extra price for upgrading our room.
Ava Hotel & Suites
Athens

This hotel was very conveniently located in an area that was walking distance to the acropolis, museums, shops, and restaurants. The room we had was a two-room suite with a kitchenette, refrigerator and microwave. This was the largest room we had during our visit to Greece. Breakfast was included and consisted of a wide selection of a la carte food and drinks. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Staff
Staff was polite, but not friendly.

DOM Boutique Hotel
Heraklion

This hotel was very conveniently located in the city center and walking distance to a small grocery store, museums, shops, and restaurants. The room was a small size hotel room. Breakfast was included and consisted of a wide selection of a la carte food and drinks.

Authenticity & Character
This was a generic big city hotel.
Location
After spending our days touring Crete, it was nice to be able to enjoy evenings close to the hotel. Many great restaurants in the area.
Staff
Front desk staff was available when needed.

Yeia sou Carmen,

I am really happy to know that you enjoyed your time here in Greece with us. 🙂

Liking the tours and drivers/vehicles during transfers is great!

I appreciate your feedback. I see you mention that the staff of Ava Athens was polite but not friendly. It would be great and very helpful if you could elaborate on that. I would honestly like to know what happened - if something happened -. That would really help me and future travelers too 🙂

Efcharisto very much!

We all look forward to seeing you coming back soon!
