Our first foray to Central America was a fantastic experience, made more so by the enthusiastic, knowledgeable and kind guides and travel planners in Guatemala. The trip was well planned, with one glitch involving an overbooked hotel. The folks from the local tour agency went above and beyond to remedy the matter, with refunds, extra guide time and a dinner thrown in. They were flexible and anxious to see that our every whim was satisfied. Special thanks to JJ and Catherine-great job both. And Carlos' personal connection to Tikal enriched our magical experience in that mystical place.

Absolutely out of this world. If the weather cooperates, an experience with no parallel.

Magical experience. Mysterious ruins in a jungle setting, no mobs of tourist busses, it does not disappoint.

Sounds silly but was actually great fun Learned a ton about Guatemalan home industries and agriculture.
