Fabulous Trip
This was our first time dealing with Kim Kim and you knocked it out of the ballpark. It was as if Sydney knew us. The places, hotels and tours she chose for us fit our tastes to a tee. The fact that Grant checked in with us on our arrival and was able to make a minor adjustment to our itinerary was much appreciated.
was fabulous. Her tour was one of the highlights of our trip. For well-seasoned travelers, like us, Kalamata was a very
We were particularly impressed with Kalamata and the Culinary Walk, Olive Oil Tasting and Lunch. Maria Monastirloti pleasant surprise. We wish we would have booked more time there to explore that region which is not quite as packed with tourists as the rest of Greece. And Santorini was unbelievably beautiful, but what impressed us the most was the first-class service and gracious hospitality we received from the staff at the Anteliz hotel.
If we could offer one constructive criticism it has to do with the hotel and jeep tour we took in Mykonos. We were given a very undesirable hotel room at the Vencia Boutique Hotel. Our view was the back of other guests' rooms, and we were in a well-worn travel path. Had we known that we could have paid extra for a better view, we would have gladly done so. And the jeep tour was not worth whatever we paid for it. It was advertised as a six-hour tour. It lasted for three and a half hours and for the bulk of the tour the driver was handling personal business on his cell phone.
Hotel Reviews
View from the restaurant was incredible.
Hotel itself was beautiful, our room was disappointing
Activity Reviews
The tour guide was very good, very knowledgeable and sensitive to the fact that it was a brutally hot day. She tried to find shade whenever she could.
The driver was very accommodating and helpful.
Maria was incredible. What a terrific ambassador for Greece. We learned so much about the food, customs and traditions of the Greek people. This was an absolutely wonderful tour and totally delightful. It's easily one the highlights of our trip.
This was advertised as a six hour tour and it was over in three and a half hours. For much of the tour the driver was on his cell phone conducting what we assumed was personal business. Unlike other tour guides, he was not very accommodating. We indicated an interest in seeing the town, a request he could have easily accommodated since we were running well ahead of schedule and while he offered to drop us off it was begrudgingly and then suggested he's send somebody else to pick us up.
There should be a better way of transporting people to and from the catamaran. We spend over an hour on the bus between the pick up and drop off.
This tour was a nice introduction to Santorini. It was helpful to do it on the first night we arrived because it gave us a good feel for the island and how we wanted to spend our time there.
It was brutally hot so we were not able to fully appreciate the local markets.
We didn't complete this because it was difficult terrain getting from our hotel to town and our jeep driver who could have helped us get there and back did not.
