I will never plan another vacation alone!! I heard about KimKim through a friend and was blown away by how easy it was to make our birthday trip to Costa Rica a reality. Olman provided excellent recommendations, was super responsive, and booked us the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation. When one of our hotels needed to be changed, not only did Olman call and email me, but he upgraded our room at the new hotel and also gave us free passes to an eco-spa. All for the “inconvenience” of moving to a different hotel - which ended up being exactly what we were looking for. From having our rental car dropped off at our hotel, to zip lining and white water rafting, to delicious meals at every turn, to gorgeous sunsets, to howler monkeys chattering the night way - we could not have asked for a more perfect celebratory vacation.
Thank you to Olman and the entire KimKim team for making our trip so memorable - you will definitely be hearing from us again.

It was fine for what we needed. Functional, clean, and near great restaurants. Nothing special - but perfect as a stopover on your way elsewhere.
We really loved how off the beaten path this hotel was. Navigating around the dam to get there added to the feeling of remoteness. The hotel was clean with a good restaurant on site, some other excellent restaurants nearby, and so many fun adventures to take. We loved being able to see the volcano from our patio!
We had a fabulous experience at the Issimo. Other than the shower spray getting all over the bathroom due to not having any doors, the room was perfect. We had a lovely balcony with a view of the ocean and some howler monkeys and toucans living in the trees outside our room. This small hotel was BIG on experience. From the beautiful pool area, to the amazingly friendly staff, to the delicious food at the restaurant, to the superior service, this is a perfect hotel for couples looking for a more intimate setting. We had some terrific meals offsite, spent two days at the beach, got massages at the hotel - and ate and drank to our hearts’ content. But the best part was my birthday - the staff helped my husband organize decorations in our room, including gorgeous fresh cut flowers (which I managed to get home through customs), a fabulous dinner at the marina, and a relaxing massage. It was the best birthday I’ve had. Thank you to everyone at the Issimo - you made this birthday girl feel special!
