This was our first trip booked with kimkim and it won't be our last. Siena spent a lot of time with me to find out what kind of trip we were looking for and what aspects of the trip would be most important to us. All the hotels and excursions were fabulous. I think our favorite excursions were the cooking class in Crete in the White Mountains and the ebike tour of southern Santorini. The cooking class class gave us a look inside a traditonal greek home and the how the value their culture and history. The bike tour in Santorini brought us to places in the southern part of the island that we probably would not have seen on our own. Lea was also great to work with from the kimkim team. Her communication before and on the trip made everything go soothly. We hope to get back to Greece to see other parts of this beautiful country.

Hotel Reviews
This hotel was in a great location . It had a roof top bar with an amazing view of the Acropolis. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were on the 4th floor and the noise from the rooftop bar late at night was a little disruptive. I would ask for a lower floor.
This hotel was fabulous. Located across from the sea with an rooftop pool overlooking the sea. It was a short walk to old town giving easy access to shops and restaurants.
The people at this hotel were some of the friendliest people I have ever met. The service is top notch. Having breakfast brought to your each day was such a nice way to start the day. I highly recommend staying at Absolute Bliss. The name definitely reflects the environment of the hotel.
Avra Hotel served its purpose for a quick overnight stay in Athens. Although it was a bit farther from the airport than expected, it was clean and functional.
DOM Boutique Hotel in Heraklion was very nice. The staff were pleasant, making the stay enjoyable.
Activity Reviews
This was a great way to see the southern part of Santorini.
The Traditional Cretan Cooking Experience was great! However, there was a mix-up with the pickup time, and they didn't notify us about it. It got a bit stressful since we weren't expecting them so early, but once sorted, the cooking experience itself was enjoyable.
The Balos Lagoon & Falassarna Beach 4WD Day Trip with Lunch was amazing. There were just four of us, which made it feel really personal. Our guide was fantastic, knew so much about the history and the local area, and was easy to understand. We had a great balance of sightseeing and relaxing at the beach, followed by a wonderful lunch. Everything was taken care of – truly a fabulous experience.
The Knossos Palace Experience was okay. Heraklion itself wasn't very exciting, and I wouldn't have chosen to visit if it wasn't necessary to get to the ferry.
The Sunset & Wine Tasting Experience was delightful. We were able to extend our visit at the last winery to watch the volcano celebration fireworks due to high winds cancelling the event the previous day. The tour organizers were accommodating and allowed us to do so, which made it a special experience.
The Ancient Athens Acropolis and Mythology Walk was a bit repetitive since I had already visited the Acropolis on my own, and it felt like I spent too much time in Athens. My husband, who loves history, loved it though!
The Neighborhoods of Athens Discovery Walk was a nice experience with just the two of us, though it felt a bit repetitive with the other activities we did in Athens.
The Sunset and Wine Tasting Experience was extended for a volcano celebration with fireworks, which made it truly memorable. It was a wonderful surprise to enjoy the event at Santo Winery.
