Working with Rene and Eduardo, the local specialists, we were able to tailor and broaden our itinerary. They were prompt, friendly, helpful, and alert to our needs. The arrangements once we arrived in Mexico unfolded smoothly and highly satisfactorily, and the local guides were most engaging, professional, and informative. Communication with Eduardo was regular and helpful. During our visit there were a number of political protests and blockades. Eduardo and his colleagues kept in touch and were amazing in the way they figured out work-around solutions. Altogether, this was an exceptional holiday, and we have nothing but praise for the local team.
Hotel Reviews
Camino Real Aeropuerto Mexico
Mexico City
This is what it says it is -- an airport hotel. It is comfortable, one can get a decent meal, and above all it is very conveniently located. There is a shuttle service, but if you are flying from Terminal One, all you have to do is walk across an enclosed bridge.
Zócalo Central
Mexico City
Rather stylish, comfortable, very conveniently located, fabulous views from the rooftop restaurant. Great breakfasts.
Hotel Boutique Marqués del Ángel
Puebla
This hotel is housed in a beautifully restored and furnished 17th Century building. It oozes charm and character and provides easy access to the sites of the Old City. Just along the road you can find Numi, a restaurant where we had the finest modern-style Mexican meals of our holiday, along with some great Mexican wine.

A visit here is highly recommended. Cholula is an attractive living community and is very rich in history, both colonial and pre-Columbian.
