Kristy - organized a great itinerary based on our specific preferences. She was responsive if something went wrong during the trip.
Luis - very knowledgeable about the Amazon and very friendly
Fisher - took care of dietary needs for one of our travellers and made sure to ask about this first at any restaurant for us. Great guide and fun company on hikes. Knowledgeable about the history of Peru
Jose - very enthusiastic about Puño and made our day enjoyable. He accompanied us to the airport and made sure all was okay with our check in the day we departed.
Drivers - very friendly and we felt safe with all drivers
Hotel Reviews
Great service. Need to be made aware of the fact that your room is completely open to the outside in addition to the bathroom. There was an animal that came into our room in the middle of the night which was scary. If you are into this, the go for it. It was still a good experience and we met lots of nice travellers there.
Nice hotel and great location. However there is no central heating system and there is only a radiator in the room so it was quite chilly.
Activity Reviews
We did not see the birds doing the clay licks which was disappointing. We tried twice but were told that another location might have been more promising/guarunteed.
Táquile island was not worth the two hour boat ride there and back. It was very similar to things we had already seen and there was no significantly different activity there. Would rather have gone in the city or done a different activity.
Amazing experience! Did not feel like ten hours, lots of good entertainment and food. Service was great and the views were stunning
