A month in the Balkans
Croatia

We just returned from a month-long vacation through Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia-Herzegovina and we owe the success of that trip to TINA. Planning a multi country trip has so many details but Tina helped us build a totally flawless and logical itinerary. Every detail was attended to: airport pickup and drop-off, car rental and insurance, hotel reservations, national park tickets, and incredible private tours. Every person on the team was so friendly and knowledgeable. Mr. Bozo and Dario drove us to and from the airport. Both were on time and pleasant. Our guides were SUPERB! We can not thank Mr. Anze, Marija, Mak, or "Ken" enough! We so enjoyed our time with them. They each shared their incredible knowledge of their city but also shared their personal stories and fondness of their cities.
Each country has its own uniqueness and we loved each one. The Balkans is so beautiful from the mountains to the cities to the sea. We ask ourselves, what was our favorite part? Honestly, we can't come up with just one. Words and photos do not do the countries justice. Absolutely gorgeous countryside.
Tina's communication was exceptional! She was so thorough during the planning phases, made suggestions and, gave us honest feedback about any concerns we had. She checked in with us during the trip to make sure everything was going smoothly and gave even more suggestions for quick stops along our way.
The hotels she chose for us were top notch. The hotel locations were PERFECT! We were able to park the car and walk to the sights. That in itself is HUGE! Most were family owned businesses and they all were so kind, appreciative, and eager to share tidbits about their town and country. There is NO WAY I could have logically organized this trip the way Tina did. We are SO GRATEFUL to her for making this vacation so special. If you want a meticulous, knowledgeable, friendly, and honest travel agent to create a fabulous vacation, TINA IS THE ONE YOU WANT!
Tina, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
Sincerely, the Crispos

We loved the secret garden. We went out each night and sat on the patio. It was so relaxing. You are a short walk from the beaches and the Riverwalk.
Out of all of the places we stayed, I think the zrinka house was my favorite! Barbara is one of the most delightful people I have ever met! She is so kind and we had a great time visiting with her. She is also a fabulous cook who doesn't let you leave her house without a sack of goodies! The house is absolutely gorgeous, so many details make it so beautiful yet very personal.
The location of this hotel could not have been any better! It was a short walk to Diocletian's palace, and also, there is a laundromat within a three minute walk! The hotel is super comfortable, the staff are delightful and helpful, the breakfast was delicious. It is a very inviting place!
Beautiful! Breakfast is offsite at Mamma Mia restaurant and it is delicious and bountiful! The rooms are large and comfortable. Anita is very kind and knowledgeable. Since no cars are allowed in the old town, you will need to take either a taxi or a bus to the old town. The bus stop is very convenient. Lovely grounds...
Excellent location with secure parking Just a couple of steps away. There is also a laundromat, a couple of steps away! It is a very short walk to the Old Town and all of the restaurants and shops and the Stari bridge. The staff were super friendly, breakfast is plentiful and delicious, parking is nearby. There is no elevator but there are rooms on the bottom floor.
Lovely hotel close to restaurants and shopping. We had a guide take us to some of the sites that were far off Such as the tunnel of hope, the bobsled run from the Olympics ...etc. I i highly recommend a guide because driving through sarajevo is quite an experience! Its a delightful hotel, super clean, comfy, absolutely delicious breakfast, and you can get a cocktail from the bar is you so desire or a cup of coffee.
