Great location. Spacious, but our apartment clearly had smokers in it before - it was hard to overcome. The apartment could use some updating (no bedside tables, safe was not bolted down, etc.). Still, for what we needed it was totally fine.

This was a sweet apartment-type boutique hotel. Lovely rooms. Located very close to the old city/palace. The staff was super sweet and accommodating.

Marin was great. It was a lovely day on the water.

Way too far from the beach and a really tough walk up to it, especially for a couple carrying a baby in the hot sun before check-in. They were unable to do early check-in either and given how far it was, we were stuck hanging out there for a few hours as it was too much trouble to walk back to the water front. Not the greatest breakfast and the room was ridiculously small given we were a couple with a baby. No cot provided and shower was so small, there was no way I could get away with safely bathing the baby.

Brilliant room and decent breakfast. Wish we could have stayed for longer! Staff were incredibly helpful, providing us with warm milk for baby and the lobby was beautiful. Brilliant grand piano!

Outstanding experience, was so nice to have the personal touches from the guide meeting his dad and having a drink. The restaurant was the highlight!

Favourite tour of the entire trip! Huge kudos to the guide. She was funny, guided our group well (although we had become smaller than Dubrovnik because some people dropped out as the morning at Plitvic Lakes was exhausting) and dropped us off at the restaurant.

Not the highlight of the trip. We landed in the heat of the sun along with bus load of tourists. The cobble stone streets made it impossible to navigate with a pram and it was hot and uncomfortable to carry our baby. Depending on the shoes one is wearing, the bridge can be slippery and it was crowded so felt really dangerous with a baby in arms. Overall, this one I could easily have missed as I don't think we really got a good experience of a lovely old town.

Dubrovnik is lovely and the guide was lovely. One thing that didn't work too well was the audio connection. It was a bit difficult to fully hear her above the noise in the town. Might have preferred this being in the evening under cooler and quieter conditions for the group to experience it fully.

OMG! This needed a full day. Probably would be slightly better if done outside of the tourist season but still an amazing experience. And it's a cooler place so the heat wasn't too bad even though we were walking around at the hottest time of the day.

The time taken to get there, via 2 border control crossings and having to navigate cobblestone steps in the heat of the mid-day sun with a 1 year old made this an experience I don't full remember cause we were just trying to find our way from one side of Mostar to the other.

Absolutely outstanding experience. Great to go to the islands and have fresh food cooked for us on the boat. Lovely amount of time to relax on a beach and get into the water. Good fun getting back with a thunderstorm chasing us. Made for a bit of an adventure although I would have hated it if the thunderstorm had caught up with us!

Highly recommend. This was a highlight of the trip. Our captains were informative, friendly and fun!

The view from our room looked like a postcard! the little beach across the street was a great place to jump in the water or lay in the sun, but also a stunning view from the room. Had dinner at the restaurant and it did not disappoint, breakfast was also delicious, staff was super friendly and helpful

Loved everything about our stay here. The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly and the location was perfect for us, a short walk to the chaos of the center of Split in peak tourist season, but tucked away enough to be peaceful and quiet and surrounded by great restaurant options.

This hotel is directly across the street from a gorgeous beach. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Darling boutique hotel with a nice pool and great location.

It ended up being too windy so the Blue Cave boat trip was canceled. We did a rafting trip on the Cetina River outside of Omiš as an alternative. It was amazing!

We had the best adventure biking around Korcula. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. We stopped at pristine beaches for swimming and visited a beautiful vineyard for wine tasting and charcuterie. It was the best way to see the island!

This was a visit to a section of Croatia, Konavle Valley, I would not have picked to see while in Dubrovnik. It is a hidden gem, and I highly recommend the visit with the tour company KimKim booked. History, biking and wine tasting... a perfect sightseeing day.

If you are planning to visit Plitvice, then I recommend skipping this tour. The guide and the drive to Krka park was wonderful. But as a waterfall park it's redundant to visit Krka if you are planning to visit Plitvice. However, the swimming time after the visit to the park was fabulous! A tour to a beautiful swimming beach would have sufficed for me.

Absolutely beautiful!

We stayed at Hotel Mangart in Bovec, which is in a very recreational area popular for rafting, hiking, skiing, and biking. The hotel was not as high-end as some of the other places we stayed, and I was warned about this in advance. While the hotel itself was not perfect for our preferences, the people there were very nice and friendly, which made up for it. Overall, it worked out for the itinerary.

We stayed at the AS Boutique Hotel in Ljubljana. The accommodations themselves were fine, but the parking situation was quite challenging and confusing. We had difficulty finding where to park and eventually had to use a parking garage. It was also hard to find the hotel initially. Clearer instructions about parking would have been helpful. Other than that, the hotel was okay.

We stayed at Hotel Park Bled and had an amazing experience. We were upgraded to the biggest room in the hotel, which had a huge bedroom, a large living room with a kitchen table, a balcony, and a private sun-up area. The view of Bled lake with the castle, church, and island was spectacular. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai listening to live music and watching people go by. The location was great, close to the promenade and food booths. We also enjoyed walking around and doing some hikes to get different views of the lake. It was truly a spectacular stay.

One unexpected highlight was a two-hour hinterland tour of Ston given by Robbie himself, who lives there. It was not part of the original itinerary, but it was a wonderful, authentic experience. Robbie shared local knowledge, gave us homemade olive oil and honey, and showed us local spots. It felt very personal and genuine, and I highly recommend this kind of local insight for an authentic Croatian experience.

We did an excursion to Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Honestly, it was just okay. It was during a heat dome, so it was very hot and crowded with tourists, especially cruise ship visitors. The main street felt like a tourist bazaar, and there wasn't much water for the usual activities like jumping off bridges. It felt very touristy and not as authentic as I had hoped. I might not recommend it unless you really want to see it, but I would have preferred spending more time in other places like Zadar or the Istrian Peninsula. This is obviously my personal opinion as many people loved it there.

The city tour in Split was also excellent. The guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating, though maybe a little more time-conscious than the others. The English was great, and the guide was excited to share the history and culture. Overall, it was a very positive experience. if you do this tour make sure to pay for the visit below the Diocletian's palace. it was one of the highlights for us.

This was an unexpected Gem. there are amazing cliffs and the gorge is cut out of the mountain. there is a path way cut right into the mountain. With the most beautiful water flowing below in waterfalls and rapids. And finished with a pastoral walk thru the forest and where the cows graze.

We took a city tour in Pula, which was fantastic. The guide was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. We felt like we got a lot of value from the tour, and the guide was very accommodating and engaging. It was a highlight of the trip, especially since we had recently visited Rome and the Colosseum, so it was interesting to compare.

We did a city tour in Dubrovnik, and it was fabulous. The guide was very knowledgeable, accommodating, and spoke excellent English with little accent. They were enthusiastic about showing their country and made sure not to repeat information we already knew. It felt like we got more than what we paid for, and the experience was very engaging.

The service was extraordinary. The rooms were clean. The breakfast buffet was expansive. The pool had nice features (bubble seats and water fall). It was also a short walk to the Adriatic Sea for swimming. I have to mention again that the staff was friendly and helpful.

We loved this small hotel on Korcula. The most special part was the staff. What a lovely group of young men (and one woman), who were so fun to talk to, gave great recommendations and just all around great service! Bojan and Dino were especially kind. The food there was also quite delicious. It’s a short walk from old town of Korcula and right across the road from the water. Lovely spot!

A short walk to Old Town, this hotel had a lot of its own charm - nice rooms, nice pool, good service, close to a few good restaurant options. Exceeded our initial expectations.

We really loved this hotel - very close proximity to beach, helpful and kind staff, BIG and clean rooms, made us feel at home. WIsh they had a pool like some of the other hotels in the area however there is no hotel closer to the famous beach and they also have an option for rooms with hot tubs.

A great experience on the boat, in the ocean and on land!

Completely exceeded expectations - Zoran was extremely knowledgeable and kind guiding us through the hike up to the caves. We also enjoyed the company of his dog, who joined for the hiking tour. The scenery was amazing and the hike was the right level of challenge - it pushed us but was very doable. Highly recommend for a half day tour when in the area.

We were very pleasantly surprised that this visit to the Family Farm included a cooking class. We were served two locally made cheeses and bread, almonds, dried figs with some iced cherry juice (we don't drink alcohol, so didn't try the local wine). We then began our cooking class. We made a family recipe for chicken cooked with olive oil peaches, plums, onions, garlic, cherry juice, salt, pepper, rosemary and bay leaves. We toured their garden and picked up rosemary, bay laurel leaves, tomatoes, cucumbers, arugula, parsley and fennel. They grow their own limes and grapefruits, pomegranates, almonds, figs, olives and much more. Back in the kitchen, we learned to make a twirly pasta by hand, and a peach & plum topped cake. After that we ate the dinner we had prepared. It was truly delicious (including a chicken soup with carrots and farina dumplings).

Swimming in the Adriatic, especially the caves we swam into, was great.

A bit out of town but was very nice to have the space and the laundry capability.

Beautiful hotel in a nice location. Only 4 stars because of the really odd placement of the bathrooms in the middle of the room with all glass walls. This doesn't work well for siblings or friends in a room together. Breakfast was excellent.

The Sea Kayak Tour on Korčula was really nice. Our guide was attentive and did a great job managing the group, which included another family with younger kids. He made sure everyone kept up and took breaks, offering wine and pastries during stops. The weather was perfect that day, making the kayaking experience enjoyable and not too challenging.

The Gourmet Experience at a Local Winery was a bit disappointing. The food was not what we expected, especially given the heat and the time spent there after a hike. The menu was not ideal, featuring hot soup and risotto, which felt heavy in the heat. Additionally, the service was disrupted when the server had a bloody nose and disappeared for a while, leaving our guide to serve the rest of the meal. Overall, it felt like the experience fell apart a bit.

The Elafiti Islands Private Half Day Speedboat Tour was a lot of fun. It was a great way to explore the area, and I would definitely recommend it. The experience was smooth and enjoyable with no issues.

The Private Island of Hvar Cycling Tour with lunch was fantastic. It took us to the backside of the island, away from the usual party scene, which was beautiful and less crowded. The guides, Gorham who drove us and JJ who led the bike ride, were both very entertaining and knowledgeable. Although it was a very hot day, the experience was enjoyable and the scenery stunning. Lunch was included, and while there was some initial confusion about ordering, Nikola was very responsive and helpful in clarifying things. Overall, I would highly recommend this activity.

The national park was great and Ivana was also excellent. The lunch at the winery was ok. It was very hot out and the food was very hot soup and risotto and not much else and it took a long time and Ivana ended up having to serve lunch because the waitress became ill. Overall it was a very nice day and we really liked Ivana.

Nice hotel. We didn't use any of the facilities as we were too busy exploring Hvar. I was very grateful for the fact that they picked up our luggage at the dock and on departure it was brought down to the ferry port. We saw plenty of people staying at different places dragging their luggage over cobbled stones to get to their hotels.

A nice boutique quiet hotel tucked away. Not far from Split downtown.

For an isolated place this was a gem. I was expecting some basis hotel but this was good. I wish we had spent longer there.

It is nice centrally located hotel. Steps away from all the attractions.
