Sarah (and Ivan) were incredibly helpful in planning our trip to Croatia and Slovenia. Everything went off without a hitch. All of our details were attended to-every guide and transfer was on time. Sara made great recommendations for restaurants. And we knew that they were available with any questions as the trip went on and their responses were thorough and prompt.
We covered a lot of territory in 11 days but the way that Sarah planned made it seem like we experienced lots of things without being rushed. Thank you so much. Highlights were walking the wall of the old city of Dubrovnik, bike tour of Korčula, island tour of Hvar, Plitvice (so worth stopping there/ do 5 mile hike to upper falls!), Ljubljana walking tour and trip to Lake Bled. Loved it all!

This trip was a good combination of exercise, scenic beauty, and cultural history. Our guides Robi and Garon were enthusiastic and helpful. The sea water clarity and blue colors was remarkable. The water quality is an asset that needs protection for the ecosystem and the local economy. The people were friendly and the hotel accommodations were very good. I recommend this vacation trip.

We had a wonderful trip in Croatia, starting in Split, then Hvar, Mljet, and Dubrovnik. The hotels were all lovely and the guided tours had just the right balance of education, fun and duration. Whenever we had a problem the group chat established by the KimKim team allowed for very quick and easy responses. I forgot a bag in Hvar and it was placed on the next ferry for pick up in Dubrovnik. Although the KimKim team had nothing to do with food, the Croatian food was amazing - always fresh and tasty. I would definitely go to Croatia again and I would definitely book with the KimKim team for Croatia or any other of their amazing destinations.

We opted out of the Elaphite islands and went to Lokrum (closer island) instead. We loved Lokrum - it is a great way to spend half-day hiking and swimming. Simon our skipper was wonderful.

Hike to Lost Villages of Hvar, Croatian Peka Lunch

Wonderful activity. Our guide, Josip (spelling?) was knowledgeable and fun. The hike was easy and mostly downhill...perhaps too easy for those of us who want a bit more exercise before lunch. He knew everything about local plants, history, and life on the island. Highly recommended. And the lunch was one of the highlights of our trip. They prepared Octopus in a Peka that slow cooks the food for 2 hours. It was the best octopus I've ever had and the restaurant was in a delightful, charming setting. The family that owned the restaurant were wonderful.

Every aspect of this trip was fantastic! Our food tour in Zagreb was delicious (participants should be warned to come hungry. There was so much food!!) Plitvice Lakes was incredibly beautiful. Our cooking lesson in Split was both informative and delicious. Hvar was very relaxing and the walk and local peta dinner was great. Dubrovnik and our private walking tour was terrific. The boat trip to the Elaphiti Islands was very interesting.
I can’t say enough about how wonderful it was to have drivers meet us everywhere and deliver us to our destinations. Special shoutout to Zoran who picked us up in Zagreb and later that week drove us to Plitvice Lake, explained the complicated history of Croatia and the 1991 Heartland War and then delivered us to our hotel in Split. Ivy in Zagreb, Tomi in Dubrovnik, Simon and his boat, Joseph on our Hvar walk and our cooking instructor were also great. I hope I haven’t left anyone out.

Every driver and guide we had was super. The food tour with Iva was very interesting. I only wish we'd been warned to eat a light breakfast. Zoran was a very punctual, informative and pleasant driver. We enjoyed the War museum with him and Plitvice Lakes exceeded all expectations. Our walking guide, Joseph, in Split was wonderful - so patient, pleasant and informative. The walk itself was perfect for our abilities and the Peka lunch delicious.

The cooking class was probably my favorite activity. Tomi is a great teacher and made me a much braver cook. I know the boat excursion in Dubrovnik with Simon would have been a favorite if the weather had been more pleasant. Ah well, Simon's cheery personality made up for it.

All 4 hotels were very comfortable and the breakfasts were amazing.

We planned to visit Croatia some time ago with no idea what to schedule. You planned our itinerary perfectly.

Joseph is a very kind patient person. We were afraid we were going to have to walk up the hills behind the harbor, but he drove us waay up to a beautiful view spot. Most of the hike was downhill and beautiful. I felt we had earned the amazing food that had been cooking and waiting for us. Another brief hike to our ride back down to our hotel. Oh my word, if I could give Nicola a 10 out of 5 stars I would! We loved this trip so much, it was so detailed and perfect- we had drivers in the busy areas, had our own car for the easy driving places- so perfectly planned. The parks were FANTASTIC, do NOT miss! Loved the cities and excursions and I don't really like cities much- there was so much to do, so much to see, every day was SO good! Croatia was my husband's idea, he heard it was great- wasn't even on my bucket list but I'm always up for new places- and it was one of our best trips ever. Highly recommend without reserve. More expensive than planning my own trip (which I do often) but I feel we saw much more, did much more than we ever could have if I planned it, bc of the details and itinerary he put together.

we got an upgrade and had the MOST FANTASTIC ocean view, with a private balcony, this was one of my top 5 favorite views from a hotel and we have been all over the world. The buffet was the best one of all of them on this trip. It was a taxi ride from Old Town but the taxi is only 8E so worth it for the amazing view, multiple swimming pools and decadent room. Love, love love!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel! Right in the middle of everything, throw open the windows and look down on the cafe and gelato shops in the plaza! There is no parking allowed in this pedestrian area so you do have to park in a designated spot a 5-10 min walk away, the staff meets you there, but it is SO WORTH IT because the location is amazing! We are not city people but we loved walking around here at night, finding a restaurant, gelato, stores, etc. can walk to ferry. The buffet in the morning is great too.

We had a fabulous trip to Croatia. We were lucky that the weather mostly cooperated, but the little rain we got din't hamper our activities.

The boutique hotels we stayed in where in interesting areas close to restaurants and very safe to wonder around. We loved all of them,

The activities Nicola booked matched what we were looking for and at times exceeded expectations.

We travel a lot, and the more we travel, the more we get particular about what we like and want our vacations to be. On our trip to Croatia and Slovenia, it was as if Ivan and Sarah could read our minds. From every excursion to every driver, we were so delighted by the experience as much as the staff. You can tell a lot about people, by the people and vendors they choose to work with and based on this trip, I can tell that they are amazing humans, never mind great travel agents. Their responsiveness during planning was outdone by their responsiveness during the trip, when you really need it the most! We felt like we could ask them anything at any time and they would reply so quickly and help us with anything we needed. To begin with, it is of utmost importance to mention that Sarah and Ivan were nothing short of spectacular hosts.
1. The timeliness with which they responded to our inquiries via WhatsApp was unheard of - this made us feel safe & valued at all times.
2. They were incredibly professional and courteous at all times.
3. The itinerary they planned was very well organized and encompassed incredible sites.
My mother and I would also like to send our regards to Mr. Duro, our driver on two separate occasions. He was very professional and kind to us at all times. Having him as our driver on two separate days simply made the trip feel more relaxed.
The hotels we stayed in were amazing: very clean, with incredibly friendly staff, and with spectacular locations that either offered great views or short access to main attractions.
We only have two pieces of feedback:
1. Try to recommend travelers to carry cash for tips or expenses for specific days. For instance, on the day spent on the Adriatic Sea, it would've been great to know to carry cash for tips for the boat captain and crew. I would've exchanged currencies the day before the trip and taken that worry off my back.
2. Another great detail would've been a Spanish-speaking tour guide in Split to learn and absorb more of the city's background.
I sincerely hope Sarah and Ivan organize our next trip.

Pictures do not do this hotel justice. Even though late in the season the hotel was well staffed and very customer friendly. Being right on the harbor provided great opportunities to walk and enjoy Split. Old town was mere steps away. I was hesitant to book this tour-just sounded a bit corny and not a great fit. Boy, was I wrong!!!!! This was a highlight of our trip! So fun and exciting, we felt like kids! We had an absolutely wonderful time on our Croatia & Montenegro trip with our group! 🇭🇷🇲🇪 Everything was so thoughtfully organized, and every detail came together perfectly. The itinerary was well-balanced, the activities were spot on, and everyone truly had an unforgettable experience.
Our guides were outstanding. Ina, our guide in Split, was fantastic — knowledgeable, flexible, and connected so well with the group. The cooking class in Split was one of the highlights — such a fun, authentic, and hands-on way to experience Croatian culture and cuisine.
The Dubrovnik Old City tour was excellent, and Danijela did a great job bringing the city’s history to life. The farm-to-table experience near Dubrovnik was another standout — delicious food, warm hospitality, and a true taste of local life.
We also loved the Oyster experience on the way to Dubrovnik — fresh, scenic, and so memorable — and our visit to Krka National Park was absolutely breathtaking. The waterfalls and nature there were just spectacular!
Thomaslav was incredible during our Kotor walking tour, combining knowledge, humor, and charm. Honestly, all of our guides were fantastic and made the trip extra special.
The hotels were also wonderful — comfortable, well-located, and ideal for groups.
Thank you again for all your help and support in planning this trip. It was truly a memorable journey, and we’re already looking forward to organizing more adventures in Croatia in the future! 🌍✨

We had a wonderful and memorable trip to Slovenia and Croatia. From the start of planning, months earlier, Marija was attentive, informative and responsible. One of the highlights of the trip was spending some time in person with her in Opatija. Oue guides were knowledgable and responsive, especially Vid in Slovenia, Anna in Split, and Stasa in Dubrvnik. There were so many highlights of the trip, it is difficult to remember them all. They include the private oyster and mussels lunch and many other meals - especially seafood, such as Puntulina and a restaurant on the island of Vis; there were trips to caves and castles; fascinating little hotels in the old towns of historic cities; and much more. We highly reccomend Marija to anyone who wishes to enjoy the wonders and joys of this region of the world.

All the guides were very knowledgeable in each of the locations we visited
Antonla's what's app link was reassuring and timely. You never felt isolated. The choices of accommodation were excellent.

Very smart old building ,formerly a bank.Excellent breakfast and free drink. A mix-up at dinner meant we had to eat out, but reception recommended a nearby Croatian restaurant which was superb. Hence best to use hotel for B&B. Room was comfortable. Good staff.

Bruno made our trip to Croatia “PERFECT”. The planning was flawless the hotels were outstanding in quality and location. He gave us a tour of Zagreb to kick off the trip and made us so comfortable and feel like friends. Also the extra touches of where to park, get gas, eat and sights to see made our nightly texts from him a highlight of our evenings.
