This was an amazing trip filled with a variety of activities that kept us moving and immersed in the local culture and history. The sunset views from the top of Marjan Hill in Split were breathtaking! Views from the fortress in Hvar were incredible both during the day and the night. We even hiked to the top of Mount Srd! You need a good set of walking shoes for this trip! Walking the walls of Dubrovnik while the sun was setting cast the perfect light for pictures. Wine tasting and biking were also fun adventures! There is so much to see and do! We felt safe even at night. Thank you 🇭🇷!

This hotel is just below the bus stop. It is a short ride (10-15 minutes). You can get tickets in the lobby. It is easier and cheaper to buy ahead of time but you can use a credit card on the bus.

Some rooms are very small but they make great use of space. There is room for luggage under the beds and furniture is full of shelves and cubbies. The rooms were very clean. We had a junior suite and it was very large and comfortable.

This hotel is a short walk to the town. It is up on the hill so keep that in mind. (Most places require walking with stairs.)

We arrived at night and we were unsure of this hotel’s location. The location was one of the things we loved the most! You can walk up the stairs to the most beautiful viewpoint in Split just outside your door. We were in the first unit and had a nice little balcony with a view where we could relax. (I am not sure if all rooms have this lovely view.). You need to keep in mind it is an older room, but the bathroom is beautifully renovated. The place was extremely clean too!!! ( I would recommend better pillows. ) The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Day trip to Krka National Park

The park was a beautiful park with the sound of rushing water everywhere you went. The walking was fairly easy on well taken care of boardwalks. It was nice to explore outside the city for a few hours. It is close to split and can walk through in an hour or so. A nice change from the city if you need an activity!

We had a great time and thank much to Ivan and Sarah for listening to our requests....they were hands on and very easy to talk to, response time was very quick. Would recommend them to other friends in the future.
The chosen hotels were also great but if there was 1 we would have changed it would be having something close to a beach on the last leg in Dubrovnik or having a pool to relax in. The guides that were chosen were all good.
If we were to plan anything in Croatia again, would not hesitate to contact Ivan and Sara again!!
The places we chose were all as we expected - BLUE Cave and Plitvice lakes tops!! Thank you for a memorable trip.

Croatia, a trip of a lifetime! With less than two months to plan this trip, Sarah was fantastic! The accommodations, private tours, tranfers via taxi or ferry were all great! If there ever was a question while traveling, Sarah or Ivan were available 24 /7 to address it. As two women traveling alone in a foreign country, it was so nice to be able to contact someone with any questions. We truly enjoyed our time in Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik, especially our bike tour in the mountains south of Dubrovnik with our guide, Adrian. Adrian went out of his way to show us true Croatian hospitality. Croatia is truly a beautiful country and so are its people! Thanks Sarah for such a wonderful trip!

Can’t say enough about Adrian and this biking tour! ! . It was so nice to get out of the city for the day and experience the small towns of Croatia. Enjoyed the spectacular scenery, the lunch on the river , talking to the winemakers at the winery, and getting to know Adrian and his family. By the end of the day, Adrian was more than a tourguide, he was our new friend!

Adrian Was very accommodating . He knew we were having a good time at the winery and did not want to shorten our experience so his wife volunteered to take us back to Dubrovnik because he had to get to work. Never felt rushed. We felt like part of the family!

Sarah did a wonderful job planning my island-hopping trip to Croatia, and filling it with incredible opportunities to experience the people, history, and culture of this fascinating country. It was phenomenal to have every single logistic covered, and know that she’s only a text away if anything came up. All of the tour guides we met along the way were engaging professionals who knew their stuff, and just as important, were locals who were speaking from their own lives and experience. I would recommend Sarah again in a heartbeat.

Nikola is so thorough and organized. We had just six days in the Croatian islands and he helped a relax and tour just enough to appreciate the special sights and culture of Brac, Hvar, and Korcula. We prefer to site-do, rather than site-see, and Nikola found experiential tourism opportunities for us without overbooking our time.

Tin was a helpful and enjoyable guide. If you like to see more--take this bike tour. Much culture and scenery. I injured my elbow while biking, my fault; he took care of everything. Quite safe and enjoyable.

Sara was our main trip coordinator, centered in Zagreb, Croatia. She was so helpful in getting our trip tailored to all our needs and made everything we wanted to do possible. The entire trip was practically flawless, and the experience made me not want to travel any other way. The App was also very helpful to track the itinerary.

This hotel is part of a large chain. Although the hotel is well appointed, and has wonderful amenities, it seems like some things were missing, like there was no bottle of water in the room, the bathroom amenities were very limited, for example. Otherwise the breakfast buffet is immense with so many options, but you get everything on your own, including the coffee and drinks.

The hotel is large, but a member of their team came to pick us up at the pier, and they drove our luggage over to the hotel, about a 6min walk away. The breakfast and rooftop bar were great. The rooms we got were a bit small, the bathroom a bit awkward, especially if you're not a couple sharing the space just because of lack of privacy.

The trip was amazing! Antonia did an amazing job from start to finish - she created a perfect blend of planned activities, time to enjoy the various locations we visited, wonderful meals and once in a lifetime experiences. We had a wonderful local guide - Ivana - who showed us the town of Split and shared her experiences of growing up and spending her life in that town. On Hvar, we had a 6th generation local - Antonio - who hosted us on his boat 2 full days and showed us the local spots, coves and restaurants on Hvar and the local islands. We also spent a day with Venko who drove us around Hvar to all the small towns and harbors - an unforgettable stop at Grgo's house for a private wine tasting and dinner in the small town of Jelsa. We ended the trip in Dubrovnik with a hard to get restaurant reservation at the Panorama Restaurant with perfect views of the city. Could not have asked for more!

Bruno did an excellent job with our trip. It was so nice to leave the planning to someone else based upon our input. Each evening Bruno would send us a note reminding us of the details of the next day and our vacation went off without a single problem. I would request a different driver next time. Baldo is a character which was enjoyable early, by the end of the day I was a bit tired of his opinions. He also rushed us a bit because he had plans that evening (e.g. coming to our table during the wine tasting and advising us that it was too hot to walk the walls in Ston). We would have gotten back in plenty of time for his plans without him rushing us The winery staff we wonderful.

Loved our trip to Croatia, we are already daydreaming about going back. Nikola did an amazing job planning a trip along the Dalmatian Coast while considering our interests and budget. Djana, our guide in Dubrovnik, and Ina, our guide in Split, organized great walking tours and provided so much information and context for what we were seeing. Touring without a guide is a waste of time.

We also enjoyed our trip to Ston to learn about (and eat) oysters and mussels. Another highlight was truffle hunting with the family Prodan.

Oyster Tasting & Farming Experience in Ston Bay

The Oyster Tasting and Farming Experience in Ston Bay was very good. I booked it partially because the other couple loves oysters, and it turned out to be a fun experience for all of us. Personally, I preferred the mussels, but overall, it was a delightful day.

Truffle Hunting + Exploring Motovun

The truffle hunt was an outstanding experience! Everyone loved it, and we even found two truffles which was a fantastic bonus. The family hosting the event was lovely. It was an enjoyable and memorable activity that I would highly recommend.

Just wanted to mention that Anna-Marie, our tour director, was great. We had a couple of hiccups that she took care of very quickly for us.

Our itinerary was just what we asked for. We started in Zagreb. Not knowing much about the city I had no real expectation. I was very impressed by the architecture and the history of the city and country. Sadat was another one of our stops. The city was small and could easily be walked. The Roman influenced architecture was truly spectacular as well as the selections of restaurants. Split was our next stop. It was a lively city that again was easy to walk and had some spectacular architecture in the old town section of the city. The highlight of Split was our our food tour which took us to 4 restaurants to sample local dishes which isn’t accurate because each restaurant was a full meal course that were different and delicious. We then went on to Hvar which is an island that is beautiful and historic. The highlight here was our hiking expedition in the hills to see some abandoned villages, hear about the history of the island, and delight in some spectacular views from high above the city. Our last stop was Dubrovnik which has the crown jewel of old towns in Croatia. Truly spectacular. We also took in an interesting museum which was the War Photography Museum. Very informative and moving.

Nikola was so helpful and easy to work with. The plans were seamless and easy to follow.

The KimKim team helped us with a 10 days trip to Greece and it was absolutely amazing! All our of activities were exactly what we were looking for, the accommodations were adorable boutique hotels in perfect locations for exploring the local scene. We visited four different locations (3 islands) so there were a lot of logistics involved between taxis, ferries and flights and everything incredibly smooth. When I did have a question on meeting location mid trip our POC had an answer for me in under 15 minutes. We would do this trip again and again! Can’t wait to plan our next trip via KimKim.
