The trip was amazing! Antonia did an amazing job from start to finish - she created a perfect blend of planned activities, time to enjoy the various locations we visited, wonderful meals and once in a lifetime experiences. We had a wonderful local guide - Ivana - who showed us the town of Split and shared her experiences of growing up and spending her life in that town. On Hvar, we had a 6th generation local - Antonio - who hosted us on his boat 2 full days and showed us the local spots, coves and restaurants on Hvar and the local islands. We also spent a day with Venko who drove us around Hvar to all the small towns and harbors - an unforgettable stop at Grgo's house for a private wine tasting and dinner in the small town of Jelsa. We ended the trip in Dubrovnik with a hard to get restaurant reservation at the Panorama Restaurant with perfect views of the city. Could not have asked for more!

Bruno did an excellent job with our trip. It was so nice to leave the planning to someone else based upon our input. Each evening Bruno would send us a note reminding us of the details of the next day and our vacation went off without a single problem. I would request a different driver next time. Baldo is a character which was enjoyable early, by the end of the day I was a bit tired of his opinions. He also rushed us a bit because he had plans that evening (e.g. coming to our table during the wine tasting and advising us that it was too hot to walk the walls in Ston). We would have gotten back in plenty of time for his plans without him rushing us The winery staff we wonderful.

The Oyster Tasting and Farming Experience in Ston Bay was very good. I booked it partially because the other couple loves oysters, and it turned out to be a fun experience for all of us. Personally, I preferred the mussels, but overall, it was a delightful day.

The truffle hunt was an outstanding experience! Everyone loved it, and we even found two truffles which was a fantastic bonus. The family hosting the event was lovely. It was an enjoyable and memorable activity that I would highly recommend.

Just wanted to mention that Anna-Marie, our tour director, was great. We had a couple of hiccups that she took care of very quickly for us.

Our itinerary was just what we asked for. We started in Zagreb. Not knowing much about the city I had no real expectation. I was very impressed by the architecture and the history of the city and country. Sadat was another one of our stops. The city was small and could easily be walked. The Roman influenced architecture was truly spectacular as well as the selections of restaurants. Split was our next stop. It was a lively city that again was easy to walk and had some spectacular architecture in the old town section of the city. The highlight of Split was our our food tour which took us to 4 restaurants to sample local dishes which isn’t accurate because each restaurant was a full meal course that were different and delicious. We then went on to Hvar which is an island that is beautiful and historic. The highlight here was our hiking expedition in the hills to see some abandoned villages, hear about the history of the island, and delight in some spectacular views from high above the city. Our last stop was Dubrovnik which has the crown jewel of old towns in Croatia. Truly spectacular. We also took in an interesting museum which was the War Photography Museum. Very informative and moving.

Nikola was so helpful and easy to work with. The plans were seamless and easy to follow.

The KimKim team helped us with a 10 days trip to Greece and it was absolutely amazing! All our of activities were exactly what we were looking for, the accommodations were adorable boutique hotels in perfect locations for exploring the local scene. We visited four different locations (3 islands) so there were a lot of logistics involved between taxis, ferries and flights and everything incredibly smooth. When I did have a question on meeting location mid trip our POC had an answer for me in under 15 minutes. We would do this trip again and again! Can’t wait to plan our next trip via KimKim.

My husband and I, along with my two daughters and their spouses, just spent 2 weeks in Croatia and we had the most amazing time! Robi could not have organized a more perfect trip for us. Planning was so easy with Robi - always extremely responsive, thorough and communications were very clear and detailed. He organized all of our local travel. connections, accommadions as well as local guides for tours in Split and Dubrovnik (Peter and Paulina respectively, were also so knowledgeable, helpful and fun!). We loved the complete flexibility in the schedule, activities and personalized itinerary he created for us.

Highlight of our trip was definitely the 6 days we spent sailing and exploring the Dalmation coast on a catamaran with Robi and Borna visiting Ston, Mali Ston, Slano and the islands of Mljet (with its beautiful National Park), Sipan and Lopud to name a few. We visited wineries in the Peljesac wine region and discovered many incredible wines that we enjoyed throughout our trip. Lots of hiking, biking, walking and climbing countless fortress walls, tasting fresh oysters right out of the sea and soaking in the sun and spectacular scenery. Robi is an incredibly skilled captain and guide, taking us to many “hidden gems” along the coast for swimming, paddle boarding and exploring.

Great food was a priority for us and Robi made sure that we enjoyed a wide range of the best Croatian culinary experiences. His restaurant and food recommendations were fabulous. We sampled so many wonderful regional dishes (oysters, mussels, octopus, calamari, peka, black risotto, pasticada, cevapi, brodetto, and of course Ston cake!), at both charming local and fine dining establishments.

We have so many wonderful memories, we cannot thank Robi enough. He is so personable, fun, professional and passionate with such in-depth knowledge of Croatian history and culture. His top priority was for us to have a fun filled, stress free and safe holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed every single minute and we would strongly recommend kimkim and Robi's services and catamaran tour.

We could not have been happier with the trip and Bruno specifically. Bruno was very attentive and his suggestions were all great.

My daughter and I just returned from our trip to Croatia. This is the first time I used a local travel agency to plan out trip. I am so glad that I did. Robi was more than excellent-he communicated with us daily and was able to make last-minute adjustments to our itinerary based on our preferences. His choice of hotels, guides, and restaurants was superb. I would highly recommend him and will do so to all of my friends traveling to Croatia. I only wish that we had more time to spend in this beautiful country.

Tina did a great job first collecting what memories and experiences would make up the ideal vacation for my husband and I. She helped us plan a curated agenda across different cities in Croatia and also Montenegro.

The itinerary was a combination of fan favorites like Diocletian's Palace in Split, the new-ish cable car in Kotor, and old town Dubrovnik walking tours. During high season she made personalized transfers (drivers and even a customized high-speed boat ride where we were the only ones in charge!). These transfers offered really nice downtime for us, a welcome break from navigating the busy streets and overcrowded attractions. Plus they were SEAMLESS - I didn't have any difficulties finding the people and getting transported to the next place. Overall we went to Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes/Split, Korcula, Kotor (Montenegro), and Dubrovnik over 2 weeks. The pacing was great, we didn't feel rushed and got a sense of each location before moving on. We also didn't feel like we wasted a ton of time just getting from place to place - there was plenty of downtime to just let things happen.

Swimming around the Peljesac peninsula the morning of our journey from Split to the island Korcula was a top experience for me - it was so quiet and our guide, Dino, was very open about sharing his experience growing up in a family of olive growers/olive oil producers. Our walking tour guide, Albert, in Dubrovnik did the best job explaining the complexities of living in Croatia, the politics of relatively new countries, and the impact of tourism. All of the hotels selected were boutique in nature and had great amenities - my favorite was the Villa Filaus in Dubrovnik, though! Great location and such character plus the woman running the boutique hotel, Anita, was a DELIGHT to welcome us.

The world's smallest bathroom which is odd considering how abundant the rest of the hotel felt - my knees hit the towel warmer/rack and I'm not a tall person (5'5") - hopefully it was just the room we had, ocean view suite. Stunning view, but tiniest bathroom.

A beautiful villa (and hopefully you get a balcony) plopped right in the middle of a great location, easy walking distance to the beach via the promenade full of casual restaurants. I loved the hotel manager, Anita, who warmly greeted us and showed us where to go with a prepared map. She is so sweet and kind - you can tell she loves her job! This place has big rooms, good air conditioning, and is quiet given there are only a few units. The small pool and loungers are all you need for sunbathing and reading a good book outside. The espresso machines (with bottomless pods) were a nice way to start each day, too!

We did get off the trail a few times having to double back when we were hiking Orjen. If I had known it was such a strenuous hike I might have either selected an easier one or skipped it entirely / asked to modify it down, because I was wearing sneakers but even the sneakers were not adequate for the rockiness (true hiking boots would have been better and there was no way I was going to take up luggage space in my suitcase for one outing).

She had developed deep relationships with each of the business owners at the honey shop, Bire winery, and the homestead. The best was these places were not SALESY at all. I could tell Rachael, our guide, has a genuine appreciation for the culture of the place especially as an expat.

Nikola created a great itinerary for our family of 5 - two 50-somethings and our 18, 23 and 26 year old children. We loved our walking tour of Split with Ivana, our boat trip to the blue lagoon and Solta with plenty of swimming stops in between with Mirko. The tour of Hvar was great as we would likely not have ventured far from Hvar Town otherwise and the boat trip to the blue caves was beautiful. Korcula charmed us - Boris was a brilliant sea kayaking guide (we loved the home made Grk and cakes). And Ivana, our walking tour guide in Dubrovnik, was a fount of information. Nikola was in touch throughout and made the whole trip stress free. We will definitely be coming back to Croatia.

We loved our guide and particularly loved the “cave” at his family home where we did wine tasting. Would have rated this trip as 5 star were it not for the disappointing restaurant at the end of the trip - not good for vegetarians.

It was a walking tour so not really relevant!

Ivan and Sarah was amazing, and helped through this process from beginning to even to end, with a reach out after the vacation as well, especially us being first timers in both Croatia and through KimKim. We've met and talked to so many great people who really showed their love for the Country, and gave us insight to the ins and outs of whatever town, city we were in; which made the trip that much more fascinating.

One of the biggest highlights was going to the Blue Cave, which was planned for the day of our Anniversary. This made our Anniversary even more special as we navigated the waters and cave.

This was absolutely an amazing trip and would recommend Ivan and Sarah to plan your next one!

If you are going to Croatia please also ensure that you visit as many of the National Parks as they are simply breathtaking!
