Our agent, Bruno, was absolutely great. He sent us updates every afternoon of what was on the itinerary for the next day with helpful tips on what to see, where to eat, and how to get to locations with Google Map links. He made everything very easy for us, so we could just enjoy our vacation and not worry about the planning process. 5+ Stars!

My only suggestion for the KimKim site is to have a specific place in each trip plan specifically for accessing saved documents, specifically vouchers (as this seems to be the preferred way of having a receipt to show for an item that has been paid for - like park entry tickets, etc.). They can be difficult to find when trying to dig through the chat history.

Also KimKim prompts you to make edits/suggestions on each day individually, but then they are all combined into one long chat with no delineation by day, again making it hard to find comments that relate to a specific day.

When we first looked at where this hotel was situated in relation to everything we wanted to do in Dubrovnik, we were a bit concerned. It is quite far from the old town. However, it is near a bunch of restaurants and a very nice beach, and quite close to the bus line that takes you to the old town. It was also close to a nearby grocery store with a wnderful little bakery inside. We had many early starts, so couldn't have the breakfast included with the room, but that didn't matter to us at all, as the bakery was soo good. The busses run very regularly (every 10 mins or so) and are easy to navigate. The building and the rooms were wonderful, and the lady at the front desk was absolutely fantastic.

The location of this hotel was the best thing going for it, and the room was quite spacious. The building it was in had a lot of character and old-world charm. That's about all I can say that is positive about it. When we arrived there was no one there to let us in and the outside door was locked, so we had to sit on the stoop and contact out travel specialist, who had to contact the owner. The included breakfast was a smattering of things that had obviously sat out for several days and was all stale. The few things that were fresh (some croissants), we felt like we couldn't eat much of, as it didn't seem like there was enough for the guests in the building. Also, we could hear the kids tromping around on the floor above ours.

This was a small family-run lodging that was incredibly charming, and not too far as a starting point to the Nation Park. But the best thing about the hotel was the lovely family that ran it. So accommodating and so pleasant! Breakfast was included with the room, but our early start wasn't going to let us eat anything before heading out, so they sent us on our way with a packed meal!

The location of this hotel can't be beat, but the staff range from stoic to downright rude, including the people working at the parking area, which is a mile from the hotel. The shuttle does come fairly often, but the parking does come at an additional cost to the room rate.

The location is a bit on the edge of town, which was perfect for as it was near the watersports facility (rafting, canyoning, etc.) that we were booked with the following morning.

Bruno put together a fabulous tour of Croatia. He communicated with us through every step and his suggestions for activities and dining were spot on.
We were very pleased with the hotels. Loved the locations for all 3 places. They were all very clean and well staffed. Breakfast was included in all 3 that made it simple for us to start our day. Bruno introduced us to 2 great tour guides. Mia in Split and Ana in Dubrovnik. Both were very informative and interesting on their tours. Both were very personable and easy to talk to.
Transportation from city to city and the tours was excellent. The drivers were very timely and also very personable.

I cannot thank Bruno enough for making our tour of beautiful Croatia so easy that we were able to spend our time enjoying the scenery, the people, and the great food in Croatia.

Lovely setting. The room was clean and the hotel well maintained. The only issue was that it is not well served for handicapped as there is a flight of stairs to the lobby. They neighborhood was very attractive and felt very safe to walk around. A great walkway that was used by the local residents and tourists that led to the beach and shore area.

Marco, our driver was alot of fun. Also very informative of the area. It was a beautiful drive around the inlet into Kotor. The city of Kotor is on a marina that was interesting to watch. The fortress is free entry and filled with all kinds of restaurants.

We just completed a week Island hop in Croatia and Anna -Maria was our trip specialist. Must admit that her planning and execution when we were not executing was flawless. We made every transfer on time which put us in position to enjoy the activities that she had put together for. us. Misplacing our vouchers for transfer and such Anna Maria was able to send them electronically to us so we could share with either the boat or transfer driver. All of our activities were spot on for what we had hoped for and again give Anna Maria total credit for making our trip one for the lifetime.

Bruno was very responsive and so helpful. I had flight issues going to Croatia and leaving as well, and he was able to be super flexible in reorganizing my transfer and everything else. He also gave great suggestions for restaurants and was available everyday via Whatsapp. I also heard from hotel staff that he's their favorite person to work with, always sharing info ahead of time so the hotels have time to manage any guest needs.

Appreciated that we were taken care of every step of the journey, with immediate replies from Bruno when we had questions.

Croatia is a beautiful country. Our guides were knowledgeable and very pleasant to be with. Bruno had everything organized and timed perfectly. If there is something that could be improved it is the snorkeling equipment on our excursion. There was not enough for our group and it was in pretty bad shape. Other than that everything else was wonderful.

Bruno was gold. Best planner seen to date. All guides were first rate, knowledgeable and personable. Bruno made our trip outstanding. He reacted to messages daily and responded within minutes. His plan proved easy to follow and execute.

Amazing trip put together by Tina. She was so receptive and planned a wonderful trip for my daughter and I. She checked in on us frequently and everything went perfectly! Can't say enough positive things!

We had a fantastic time! The sites/adventures Marjia coordinated for us to see were perfect, starting with the pick up at the airport after a long flight and taken to the hotel. Jo was such a fun, personable and knowledgeable guide for our private walking tour. Best start to the vacation! The car rental drop off at the hotel for our plitvice day and then truffle hunting made that so easy. Thanks to Marjia for getting tickets and having Daniela waiting for us. Plitvice was so beautiful and truffle hunting and sampling with Daniela an unexpected highlight!!!
Dino with Absolute charter was so good!! He called ahead for times/ticket info to Blue caves then restaurant and lunch later in the day. Snorkeling in a quiet bay he suggested was so fun. Split was beautiful , castle tour was great and so fun to wander through. Dinko was a wealth of knowledge as he drove us through crazy, winding mountain roads to Dubrovnik, with a short stop at salt mines. Interesting! Hotel on the mountain side and view of the sea were breathtaking. Guided tour of Old Town with Jelena was a blast! Marjia, thank you for setting this up, checking in on us during our stay and getting us to/from everywhere! We will definitely use KimKim travel again.

Our trip was everything we hoped for and more thanks to our local specialist Anna-Maria. She was in touch every day and made sure everything was running smoothly. The transportation she arranged was seamless and made the trip much more relaxing for us! Our first driver/guide Primos was really knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. The lodging was wonderful, each with breakfast included and locations that were perfect. The hiking was spectacular in Slovenia (with Marc) and in Opatija (with Smilja) which had a surprise visit to a local bee keeper that was a truly lovely experience. Kayaking waterfalls on the Mreznica river and hiking the stunning K loop in Plitvice National park were two exceptional highlights. We loved every minute of our trip!

My friend and I set out to plan a trip for her 40th birthday. Nikola was helpful throughout the process and highlighted all the important sights to see. Our airport transfers were punctual, our tour guides were warm, kind and informative; our skippers for the boat tour was knowledgeable, and our culinary experience was amazing! We did so much in the week that we were there (a guided city tour in Dubrovnik, a hands-on culinary experience, a boat tour in Hvar, a visit to the National Park in Split, and a short stop to Ston). And in between each of those activities we were able to explore the city, enjoy delicious meals and nightlife as well. All our guides in each city treated us so warmly like family and were very knowledgeable and rooted in their culture. We can't wait to be back with our families to explore new sights!!

Croatia is a beautiful amazing country, and Nikola was fantastic! He was very professional and provided great insights and arranged the perfect 8 day trip for us. I had done my research and knew what my family would like to do, and Nikola took that input and arranged our hotels, transportation, and booked boat trips, wine tours, and walking tours of old town. Our walking tour guide knew that we wanted to see a couple of specific requests in Old Town and was also aware of some back issues for my husband and catered to our requests.

This is the third time I have used kimkim to book a European vacation for my family of four and each time, we have been really pleased with the service we have received from the local KimKim representatives. Thank you to Nikola (again, highly recommend him) and to kimkim in general.

We received fantastic dinner recommendations every night and everyone was lovely and kind and went over and above to be helpful. My daughter left her wallet in the hotel when we checked out and a staff member ran back to the hotel, got the wallet, and brought it to us as we were about to board the ferry. So appreciated and beyond helpful.

Beautiful hotel but when we arrived the beach was closed due to erosion. While that happens, it would have been nice to know that before we arrived so we could have potentially made different arrangements. The hotel did provide shuttle services to other hotels that we were able to use for pool and ocean time. Lovely breakfast and generally the staff was accomodating and kind.

One of our guides was the owner of the actual winery and was so proud and exchanged so many nice things about Croatia to us! Antonia anticipated what would be good for us, including the lodging and the rooms! Our best breakfasts were in Dubrovnik and the best lodging was in split! We just returned from the most amazing family trip to Croatia- thanks to Sara and KimKim. We booked very last minute and had so little time to plan / research what to do. Sara guided us from the very start- working within our budget to craft the best possible trip- finding great hotels just a couple of weeks out and developing an itinerary that left us feeling like we truly explored the Dalmation Coast.
Sara was a pleasure to work with- attentive and informative and incredibly helpful with every detail!! The private tours she arranged left us feeling like we got to know not just the area we were visiting, but the local people as well. Ivana spent two days with us in Split and she provided a great foundation for our trip. She is funny and knowledgeable and great company- we all enjoyed being with her. Grgo in Hvar was an outstanding local guide. He provided us with the most memorable tour of the island and his life there. Our time with him , visiting his homeland, was the highlight of the trip for us all. We cannot say enough positive things about our trip- and our experience using KimKim. I will tell ANYONE who is heading to Croatia that they must contact Sara- she is THE BEST! Thank you for so many wonderful memories and a fabulous family trip to the beautiful country of Croatia!! K. Hvar Half-Day Private Island Tour (Afternoon)

This half day tour of the island of Hvar was the highlight of our trip. Great views, interesting information, fabulous food, wonderful wine, and the most amazing tour guide, Grgo!! It was a very special day having Grgo show us the island his family has called home for seven generations. What he shared with us truly felt like a gift in every way. This is the ideal way to go beyond the vibrant waterfront and see more of the real Hvar. Spectacular in every way and we left feeling like we had made a friend. Thank you, Grgo, for sharing your home, your insights, your passion and your humor with us for the day. We will never forget it. This tour is a MUST for anyone visiting Hvar!! K. Filling

Ivana gave us a wonderful overview of the thousands of years of history in Split! :) She was a wonderful, knowledgable and personable tour guide and my whole family enjoyed their day with her. It felt like a local friend walking you around their hometown. Highly recommend, Ivana for anyone visiting Split!

We really can’t say enough of the service provided by Zeljko and Antonia. From the beginning Antonia was responsive, quick to offer suggestions and solutions, and knew exactly how to manage a large group. I can’t think of 1 complaint on how she planned and executed this trip for us.
Zeljko is a STAR! He was not only our travel guide but became our friend by the end of the trip. Everything that was asked of him was followed up on and executed without fail. He noticed needs immediately and remedied them as quickly as he noticed them. He accompanied us to trips when he was supposed to be his free time.
Our family travels extensively and this trip was one of our best trips we’ve ever experienced.
I cannot recommend Antonia and Zeljko enough for making this happen.
It was flawlessly planned and executed.

Robert did an excellent job of organizing this trip and was always very prompt with responses to questions and issues we raised. All the guides and drivers were very timely, came to our assistance very effectively, despite the crowds and our limited knowledge of travel practices and helpful with expected activities. The assistance was always friendly and knowledgeable. The facilities and associated activities we were always top notch, with appropriate support information.
Reservations were timely and modified as required.
