A bit hard to find correct entrance because castle is so big but the guide called us and waited while we found our way.

Best time!

Beautiful hotel with beautiful views. Not near Old Town but a much quieter place to stay. Found a couple lovely restaurants within walking distance and the Cave Bar nearby is super fun.

The wine was positively delicious and our tasting was just the two of us on their beautiful patio.

Beautiful hotel but when we arrived the beach was closed due to erosion. While that happens, it would have been nice to know that before we arrived so we could have potentially made different arrangements. The hotel did provide shuttle services to other hotels that we were able to use for pool and ocean time. Lovely breakfast and generally the staff was accomodating and kind.

High end hotel, perfect location, and an amazing beach club area that was perfect for swimming and lunching in the sun. Staff was super helpful and provided a great dinner recommendation and reservation and also provided us boxed breakfast since we were leaving early for the airport. Highly recommend. Also...the views?! Unbelievable of Old Town, Lokrum Island and the coastline.

Unbelievable hotel. Highly recommend. beautiful pool and grounds and the staff were so helpful and lovely. The rooms for our family were adjoining and we had a gorgeous balcony overlooking the ocean. We had beach access as well.

Vera was very knowledgable and lives in Old Town! She knew so much about the history of Old Town and even lives there.

Great local guides who knew the area and made some suggestions based on current weather conditions and other tourist activities. We did not get to see the Blue Cave which was a bummer but we so appreciated not going through rough seas to wait in line for a short visit.

Great experience! Local guide was super nice and knowledgeable. We got to visit his family home and learned so much about the island of Hvar, wine, lavender, and life on the island.

Ivana gave us a wonderful overview of the thousands of years of history in Split! :) She was a wonderful, knowledgable and personable tour guide and my whole family enjoyed their day with her. This half day tour of the island of Hvar was the highlight of our trip. Great views, interesting information, fabulous food, wonderful wine, and the most amazing tour guide, Grgo!! It was a very special day having Grgo show us the island his family has called home for seven generations. What he shared with us truly felt like a gift in every way. This is the ideal way to go beyond the vibrant waterfront and see more of the real Hvar. Spectacular in every way and we left feeling like we had made a friend. Thank you, Grgo, for sharing your home, your insights, your passion and your humor with us for the day. We will never forget it. This tour is a MUST for anyone visiting Hvar!! K. Filling

Our driver, George, Dobo the oyster man, and the vineyard family were some of our favorite people on the trip. So kind, we learned so much, and enjoyed each experience. **I would not recommend this for anyone that gets car sick.

Beautiful and comfortable. One cannot really find an upscale hotel in Dubrovnik itself, but this place in nearby Lapad Beach was worthwhile.

Lovely hotel. While the driveway to the hotel was very narrow, our guides could always find us. This was my favorite hotel of the trip.

Lovely old and comfortable boutique hotel, with AMAZING breakfasts. We were taken aback at first by the lack of an elevator (or room was on the third floor), but the staff moved everything for us without being asked. The hotel is on some kind of historic register which prohibits renovations to the lovely old structure. The "plunge pool" in the garden was a real plus in the scorching weather we had. The staff her was exceptional in every way,

This was difficult for me. I hadn't kayaed in years, which made the activity hard for me. Part of the problem was that we arrived late for our group, even though we met out driver on time. Morning traffic in Dubrovnik is really terrible, and getting there late while our group was already in the water was embarrassing. I think you need to re-calibrate the travel time to the group meeting here.

This full-day snorkeling and sailing adventure was my favor of all our excursions. We were alone with our terrific guide Antonio, who explained much about the history and the culture including a lot of cool stops. like one on the island of Badija, where we saw interesting historic sites and fed the small wild deer. We snorkeled and sailed, stopping occasionally to swim. Lunch at a seaside restaurant was excellent. This was a really great day, and because we were on the water mostly, the oppressive hear didn't matter. Antonio and his partner Penelope were welcoming. helpful, and totally charming to be sith.

I loved the first part of this experience, about the honey and olive oil production. The host was truly informative and also hilarious. The lunch part was harder to enjoy. The people on the organic farm were interesting and the food was good, but the day was too terribly hot to fully enjoy an outdoor meal.

Another favorite activity, owing primarily to our incredible guide Darko. A native of Split and a historian, he knows SO MUCH about Split. We are both well educated in history, and Dark was able to pick this up early in the adventure and tailor his comments to our level of interest and experience. He is an engaging guide and a war, humorous person, all of which added up to a first-rate tour experience.

Another nice day on the water, this time with a charming family of 5 and two good guides. The Blue Cave is breathtaking. We never made it to the green cave, but the guides took us to another spot preferred by locals. Speed boats are cool--and so was the water!

Incredible waterfalls. Got crowded at the end. Wine tasting was also interesting and delicious. Croatia has excellent wines!

This hotel is wonderful. We were able to stay in the 3 bedroom plus the upstairs room and we absolutely loved this as we had room to spread out. There is a washer/dryer in this room as well which was so convenient.

We are a family of five who stayed here the beginning of June, 2025. It was absolutely wonderful. The e-bikes were a great addition as well and were free of charge! You will not be disappointed in your stay here.

This hotel is right in the middle of old town. It was charming and very easy to get around in. We loved this place.

This place was GORGEOUS. Stephani was absolutely amazing and made sure were were well taken care of. Our room was amazing and we will definitely seek this hotel out again because Hvar was one of our favorite places.

Interesting because it was right in the historic area but room was small and A/C did not work well. Breakfast was decent but minimal.

Room was spacious and front desk staff was nice but hotel was a bit far from the old city for our liking. It was closer to some other restaurants by the marina and was walkable to sunset beach but it was too far to go back and forth to the old city multiple times in a day. We had a power outage out last night but the staff worked quickly to get the generator back up and running.

We really enjoyed getting out of Hvar town to see the rest of the Island. Miko taught us a lot about the local culture. The wine tastings at the end were a nice touch.

It was a great day! We had an amazing group of 11 of us plus our captain and skipper. We had a great day of swimming, boating, and exploring.

Guide was friendly and knowledgeable but she had her set script and did not tailor to the crowd. I probably would not have done this so late in the day if I had to do it again.

John was our guide. He was very big on safety, which I appreciated. He only stopped 2x to give some history. He probably could have talked some more.

touring Hvar with Grgo - who’s family goes back hundreds of years to the first recorded resodents on the island - was a highlight. He took is to his family home and winery, and into a 350 year old rock wine cave where we had a tasting. It was fascinating to see a part of Hvar and hear stories that you would never see or hear in the main cities.

Definitely the highlight of our vacation. This boat ride was super relaxed and our guide was fantastic. We had a leisurely ride around the area. He allowed us to take our time in exploring and was just fun to be with. Thank you Ivo!!

Hotel Korsal is in a perfect location. It is easily walkable to the ferry or the town. There is a beach right in front of the hotel with paddle boards and kayaks for rent. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful with tables both indoors and out. We also had a delicious dinner there. The waitstaff and reception staff are probably the nicest group of hotel workers we have ever met. There is nothing they wouldn't do for you and always with a smile. They notice if you have a favorite drink or like a particular table. The area is very quiet at night. We had a suite with a very comfortable bed, a spacious living area and a balcony overlooking the water.

Ana was so knowledgable about Croatia's history and explained it in such a way that it was easy to remember. She took us through the whole city and showed us some special places to return to the next day.

There was so much to do on this excursion. The salt flats were interesting. We watched a short movie and walked around the area. It's not a big place but we found it quite interesting. It was very hot that day but we still walked the path from Ston to Little Ston. It is A Lot of steep steps and in the heat it is difficult. It took much longer than anticipated. We have been on a number of winery tours in the US and Europe and we still learned new things form this tour. The wines were very good and it was the only winery we went to that shipped to the US.

This was a really long but very fun day. The boat was very spacious with space for both sun and shade. We snorkeled in a couple of places, went swimming in beautiful coves, Marin told us about each island, took a bike ride on Lastovo and had an amazing lunch.

The park is beautiful with some gorgeous waterfalls. There are crowds-the later it gets the worse it gets. The hike is easy to navigate. Bring lots of water.
