Overall everything was excellent. The experience the real life with locals was very good. The guide was very knowledgeable and took us on the back streets. What was lacking was the information indicated that we would be introduced to locals that were share information on their daily lives. We did not meet any locals on the tour. The guide did an excellent job on the history of Lisbon.
Traditional Portuguese Food Walk - exceeded expectations. The guide(s) were great. Took us to a number of places and we did get to talk with some of the shop/store owners and the food and drinks were excellent.
Private Sintra & Cascais Day Trip also was excellent. The guide was A+++. We did tour the Pena Palace which was great, the line for Quinta Regaleira was very long and the guide suggested some other visits instead. We agreed and were glad we did. He also took us to an excellent out of the way place for lunch we were able to talk with the owner was made it special.
Our arrival pick up was on time and told us somethings about the city on our trip to the hotel.
The hotel was A+++. From the outside it does not look like much but once you open the doors it was really amazing inside. The breakfast way exceeded expectations and the staff was every so friendly.
I was concerned with our departure with the 3:00 AM pick up, but the driver was 10 minutes early. Yea
Do have to add, not very impressed with the Lisbon airport. Not many employees that can help you.
Need to add, that we did not have any communication issues, english worked fine and most menus had english.
