I wanted to share how much we enjoyed our recent trip to Portugal. From the initial planning stages through our departure, the entire experience was fabulous.

Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable and personable. The cooking class, which included meeting at the market in the Algarve to shop for ingredients and being hosted in their home, was an incredible experience that I would highly recommend. The Ponta da Piedade by Boat Excursion was also excellent; it was easy to find the location, and we experienced no issues. The Lisboa Pessoa Hotel in Lisbon was beautiful. Our private tour of Sintra and Pena Palace with our guide for our small group of four was also wonderful.

After leaving Lisbon, we followed Kimkim's suggestion to visit Nazaré, a beautiful surf town with stunning beaches and cliffs. Porto was vibrant and full of life, and I highly recommend the foodie tour we took, which introduced us to traditional foods and authentic local restaurants. Our trip concluded with wine tasting and sightseeing in the Douro Valley.

We truly loved Portugal and feel there is so much more to explore.
