Day 1: Full Day Mt Leshan & Tea Terrace In Lost Town

After breakfast visit the Leshan Giant Buddha, which at 233 feet (71 meters) is the world's largest. The Buddha was built in 713 C.E. during the Tang Dynasty and is a top destination for tourists.

From here, continue for 40 minutes down the quiet country roads to see the Huanglongxi Ancient Town to learn about local culture and history. Visit a blacksmith's shop, a bamboo workshop, barbershop, and other notable places of business. Break for tea at the local teahouse and swap stories with the locals while you enjoy the hundred-year-old courtyard. 

Return to Chengdu for the evening. 

Day 2: Emeishan-Chengdu

Mt. Emei, one of China's four famous mountains, is a holy site for Buddhism and is located on the south of Lesha. It towers over the area and is a popular destination for both locals and tourists. 

After visiting the mountain, enjoy the scenic drive down the mountain back to Chengdu for the night. 

Day 3: Chengdu City Day Tour

Today you will visit one of Chengdu's (and China's) most popular attractions—the Panda Research Base. The giant pandas are a Chinese national treasure and are beloved by people worldwide. Tour the center to learn about the breeding efforts and see the adorable baby pandas. 

Stop by the popular Kuan & Zhai Alley to sample some local snacks, then drive to Wenshu Temple. Later, take a walk on the famous pedestrian Jinli Street, where you can buy a variety of tasty street snacks and shop for souvenirs. In the evening, attend a performance at the renowned Sichuan Opera

Day 4: Farewell from Chengdu!
