Peaceful hotel in a stunning location, perfect for 3-4 relaxing days in the Munduk area.

The cooking class was a lot of fun and engaging. We learned quite a lot, including seven recipes with various sauces and desserts. It was really enjoyable, and my wife, the chef of the family, loved it.

Fantastic day with many highlights: the views of Palau Padar, the Komodo dragons, the pink beach and the amazin Gili Lawa.

We had low expectations, and we were pleasently surprised. The house that hosted us is fantastic, and we reallyfelt immersed for a few hours in the Balinese lifestyle, far from the chaos of the turistic locations

Just a wonderful hotel! Would definately come back here and can recommend to all. Our room was outstanding, large with a balcony which had two-directional views out to the ocean and over the forest. The bathrooms were also huge having both a shower and a large bath. The hotel facilities are amazing. the pools, the pier bar and other restaurants were all excellent. The hotel also offers local activities like snorkling and paddleboarding which were fun.

This was a solid hotel in Sanur, a few blocks away from the beach. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The bathrooms were particularly small and each room had a balcony which was not really set up to sit out on since there were no chairs available. The pools were nice and the hotel breakfast was also good.

We loved this hotel and its location in Ubud is also great. The rooms and bathrooms are enormous. The staff are incredibly helpful and the views over the rice paddy are inspiring. The breakfast every morning was lovely and room service was excellent. Would definately recomment this hotel to others.

A reasonably strenuous walk through the jungle (its not flat landscape) but we quickly saw numerous Orangutans and other parimates as well. We then tubed back down the river to get back to our starting point where we then had a cold beer! Clearly one of the highlights of our trip!

Wow, what an absolutely breathtaking hotel! We stayed for 4 unforgettable nights and truly didn't want to leave. Nestled in the most stunning spot in north Bali, this place felt like a hidden gem. Our stay in the Cliff Tent Pool Villa right by the shimmering sea was nothing short of magical. The villa was beautifully designed, and every tiny detail was thoughtfully cared for, creating a space that felt truly special and welcoming. The hotel restaurant was simply incredible! The variety on the menu was extensive, and every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and passion. The staff were genuinely wonderful—so warm, welcoming, and friendly, making us feel right at home. The surrounding grounds were immaculately maintained and spotless, adding to the overall serenity and beauty. We fell deeply in love with this hotel and, genuinely, didn’t want to leave this paradise!

The hotel is amazing!! When you first get to the parking lot, a golf cart will pick you up and take you to the hotel, which is just about a 5-minute ride. The hotel is set right in the middle of rice fields, making it feel really authentic. We stayed in a bungalow-style room located by the pool which was clean and spacious. All the staff were super welcoming and friendly and the food at the restaurant was incredible!! We were very lucky to have a massage in the spa, a little treat from our travel agent. It was very nice!!

Good accommodation! Basic rooms with everything you need before going on the jungle trip. Food in the restaurant was great and the staff were friendly.

This was genuinely the most incredible snorkeling experience we've ever had! We stopped twice to explore the vibrant underwater spots around the island of Menjangan—each more breathtaking than the last—before sharing a delicious lunch on the island itself. The fish and coral were so bursting with colour and life that it took our breath away; we even had the chance to spot a turtle! It was truly unforgettable and absolutely stunning. One of our guides had a GoPro, capturing our underwater moments in videos and photos, which we were so grateful to be able to purchase afterward. We higly recommend this trip—an adventure that will stay with us forever!

Thrilling experience! The scenery down the river was beautiful! Our guide who took us on this trip was very welcoming, friendly and funny!

What an unforgettable experience!! We had the most wonderful time ever! Witnessing orangutans in their natural habitat was truly breathtaking! Our guides for the two-day trek were incredibly funny and made the whole experience so much fun. They thoughtfully provided us with food during the day and genuinely looked after us, throughout every step. After five hours of trekking, we finally arrived at the jungle camp, where we were warmly greeted by our amazing guide Windy. She was absolutely incredible, helping us settle in for the night. The evening meal was absolutely delicious and filled us with joy!

This was an exceptional property and a wonderful staff. Loved all aspects.

Both the sunrise and hike to the top of Mt Bromo were exceptional experiences. An amazing site.

I did not go into the falls as I did not feel that I would be physically able to handle it. My husband did the falls. He loved the experience but said that it was quite challenging.

Loved being on the boat during the day and using the hotel at night. The whole experience was over the top.

The boat was great for the family as it had a lovely sun deck but more importantly, a great shaded relaxation area. The food was superb throughout and we were treated extremely well by the staff on board, always with a broad smile and nothing was too much trouble.

Great hotel and location with comfortable rooms, we had a roof terrace to enjoy the stunning views. Diving centre on site was excellent and the snorkelling directly off the beach was excellent, slightly difficult to access but once in, amazing coral, turtles etc.

This is a lovely hotel, with excellent facilities right in the heart of Yogykarta. The old building is very attractive, the rooms extremely comfortable and quiet, the pool area a lovely place to relax.

Very comfortable clean airport hotel with excellent pool. Confusing restaurant options with no clear hotel floorplan offered, but we worked it out!

a morning snorkel was followed by a short trip back to port. As the flight had been moved later, Marc arranged with our guide to do a trip to the local cave and this was an added bonus as it is a dramatic scene deep in the cliffs amongst lovely forest with very few people there.

More amazing snorkelling and cruising around beautiful islands so a lovely relaxing experience The fruit bats leaving their island at sunset was amazing, the numbers of them made for a dramatic, once in a lifetime view.

We managed to see a manta ray - apparently rare at the time of year we visited, so we were thrilled with that. The snorkelling itself was breathtaking with great coral, turtles everywhere and we saw a black tip reef shark.

We had 3 days on board the boat and the whole Flores and Komodo area is breathtaking. It is very different from any region we have visited before and a stunning area to visit. Under water is equally amazing with stunning living corals. The Komodo dragons were at the end of the mating season so largely hidden away but we did see a big male who clearly was well fed and docile and a smaller female. The was a small young dragon on the beach and it was walking around which was nice. A short hike up to see the sunset was picturesque but clearly on the itinerary of everyone so crowded.

We went out in a local trimaran boat and got a lovely view of the coast and sunset over the volcano. We had drinks on board and a peaceful fun trip up and down the coast and then drifted while the sun set. Back at the beach, a table had been set and a BBQ of fresh fish and seafood with veggies and rice was prepared for us, ending a lovely evening.

We had a lovely drive getting there and then a straightforward walk along the river to the waterfalls that are very impressive, with opportunity to swim and shower under them, only the edges mind you as very powerful! There were lots of people there as it was a weekend and the locals were enjoying it too. This meant our boys were asked for lots of photos which they find amusing! The local village visit also really shows a different pace and lifestyle, completely removed from the modern pace. Lunch was overlooking the waterfalls in an idyllic setting.

We chose not to go onto the temple, on advice about the conservation of it, but it is still very dramatic and impressive. The whole area around it is very peaceful and well kept

Despite clouds covering the volcano, the day was great fun. The jeeps were open top and added to the experience and the drivers and guides we had were keen to keep us entertained. The boys particularly enjoyed driving round an off road course through a rocky river bed.

As we drove up a very rough track in the middle of no where we were uncertain of what to expect. The welcome and briefing was very professional an then we were taken to the rope system that they lower you in on, two at a time. This was nerve wracking but exciting and added a lot to the visit with the 60m descent. The caves themselves are fascinating and the light shaft in the main cave dramatic. Be aware it is muddy++, they give you boots.

The temples are being restored currently and our local guide told us how this process was proceeding as well as taking us into the ones which were accessible. The whole setting is peaceful and picturesque.

The crew on the Giona boat was awesome. Having this boat in private format for our family was really great.

Hotel had many amenities including spa and multiple swimming pools for guest and a direct access to the beach. Also, the breakfast buffet offered a nice selection of items including Dim Sum, traditional American breakfast items, plus cooked to order eggs and local Indonesian food items. Also, the hotels location offered easy access to many outside dining options that one could walk to in under 15 minutes.

Really nice hotel with great amenities and spa. The decor of the hotel is unique with antique furniture pieces in both common areas and rooms. The breakfast buffet was great as there was a wide range of food available to suit all taste

This was one of the best acclivities we did on Bali. Our instructor was very personable and we learned a lot about Balinese culture and cuisine talking to her and getting hands on instruction. The food which we prepared turn out to taste really good too.

The water a beautiful turquoise and clear which makes it possible to see many fish and some sea turtles. Depending on your preferences, it is possible to charter a private snorkeling adventure.

The trek to the falls is awesome. There are not many people on the trail so this makes the whole experience more serene and enjoyable

Even though it was crowded, the system in place for tourist to visit the site has greatly made the experience more enjoyable

Marc chose the worst hotel in all of Bali for us to stay at. Why in the world would he choose a hotel that is not even on the beach. There are tons of great hotels on the water, and this one was not one of them.

The massage therapists were terrible. There was a damp, musty smell in hotel room.

Our guide had us arrive exactly 1 hour before the dance. The seats are terribly uncomfortable and we were sitting in the beating sun. No need to arrive until 5:55. We loved the tour of Uluwatu Temple. Thank god our guide was so great and kept us safe from the monkeys. Padang-Padang Beach was fine, the surf lesson was fun, but it was ridiculous with all the people. I have to assume, if we had stayed at the hotel on one of the pretty beaches, then we would not have been around 100s of people.

We also went to the rice terraces. This was a great day. Again, Marc did a terrible job letting us know what to bring, wear, leave, the duration of the day etc.

This was so fun! Mount Batur was totally fogged in, so we had no view, but the biking was great fun. This day we also did the cleansing ritual. we loved it. this is definitely something that should always be included in the Ubud itinerary.

We loved the walk to the waterfalls. we even did the weird tube ride back down. I didn't really enjoy the Sasak Village tour. We felt like we were at a zoo.

We loved this day. we loved our guide and driver. the 2 boys running the little boat were awesome. again, they took us on the tour that made the most sense, but was totally different then Marc's write up.

We loved this! our guide and driver were great. we loved the 1978 Land Cruisers. Again- the itinerary write up was all wrong. Marc told us to be ready at 5. Our guide laughed and said- not possible, I will pick you up at 2:30. We loved this day, because of our guide and drive. Marc really needs to work on how he writes up the itineraries.

This was great and so was Sewu Temple, which, thank god our guide was so great to take us here too, as it was not on itinerary.

Huge mistake by Marc, he booked us a ticket for just the outside. No one in the whole world would go to Borobudur and not hike the stairs to the top. In future it should always be booked to hike. It turned in to a pain for our guide, as I had to then by our tickets to the top- which are actually combo tickets, then our guide had to go find us money to give the refund back. Makes zero sense what Marc did.

Amazing - paradise on earth

This is a wonderful little place near both ICON bali mall and the beaches. It's got lots of nearby shopping and cafes, and only 30 minutes walk from sanur cat cafe! It's comfortable, clean, and has a great pool for relaxation. They also have balinese traditional dance performances on Monday nights!

It's a great little getaway that's budget friendly and within walking distance of restaraunts and a couple beaches. The pool is a great feature and rooms are spacious and clean.

It's a unique place located near city center of Ubud, but it doesn't feel like you're in a city due to being surrounded by lush greenery. The rooms are in balinese style with modern amenities. The restaraunt and pool are also perfect for relaxation.

It's a beautiful place with cozy cabins, kind staff, and great food! It's perfect for a quiet getaway in the mountains if you like relaxing places with farms and hiking. The owner chichi is so kind too!

It's a great place perfect for quiet and relaxation. The service, food, and locations were perfect for my interests and my budget, and it's a great spot if you want somewhere that's not as busy as Ubud. The staff are all so nice and welcoming! And they have a dog and cat on the grounds that both like to say hi to people!

Great experience whether you are single or in a group, and great for any age. The whole process is very streamlined and coordinated. We were given a tour of the local market to start with, before going to the guides' family home and learning about the culture and foods. A lot of the staff do the prep work, so if you're looking for something intensive, this may not be for you. But we got to use traditional methods and were given tips on how to select products for quality and freshness. We made at least 8 different dishes. It was so much fun learning the methods for cooking balinese dishes. Staff were professional, friendly, and helpful! The meal was delicious, and we were given a cookbook with all of the recipes we made!

The canoe and trek were amazing! Mu guide shared lots of stories and we discussed environmental issues. The canoe trip gave plenty of time to take photos and see the wildlife and water temple, and my guide shared a lot of interesting information about the local plants. We even got to eat some cinnamon bark right from the tree! Lunch was delicious and the hike wasn't too difficult (even if you're like me and have asthma and are out of shape lol).

Fantastic guide who shared stories about the local area, his family and village, and helped with taking pictures! He came prepared with bugs spray and water too!

The highlight of the trip was the MonaLisa 3. The crew was great. Boat was lacking only one small thing, places to sit. There were no chairs. A couple of benches but nothing else. Everything else was great. Our guide Robert was absolutely sensational. By the end of the trip it felt like we were hanging out with a friend who was a local. When we had the problem with the Wae Rebo hike Robert saved the day. He was amazing looking for Komodo Dragons. He made up for all of Yuqqa's mistakes. One of the best guides I have ever had.

Absolutely fantastic. Was our favorite hotel of the trip. Grounds were magnificent and the staff was great.

Hotel was basic. We arrived into terminal 3 at Jakarta. Yuqqa had selected a hotel in terminal 2, but we flew out of terminal 1 the next morning. Why so much movement. Spending the night at the terminal we arrived at would have been much easier and better.

Ten stars. Best day of the trip. We saw eight Komodo Dragons! Two terrific snorkeling experiences. We will remember this day for the rest of our lives.

This place is a hidden paradise.

All the villas are steps from the beach. It is located on the north/west coast of Bali, away from the crowds. I tried "Snake Fruit" for the first tie. Delicious! Huge pool, a gorgeous restaurant. The rooms are spacious and we slept well.

Beautiful views and a great restaurant. We slept well and woke up to the sounds of the tropical birds. The fresh juice at the restaurant is a MUST. We enjoyed every meal. Our spa experience was lovely, the massages were so relaxing. It really does feel like heaven, especially as you watch the clouds roll in just beneath you as you have a cocktail on the deck of the restaurant.

This was a great hotel! We only stayed here one night, so a bit difficult to compare. But the restaurant attached was nice, it was a quick 5 minute walk to the beach, and our room was nice.

This hotel was the definition of luxury. I loved our balcony to read in the afternoons between activities, the bathroom was luxurious, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. The free breakfast every morning was a great way to start the day!

We had a great experience on the Klotok boat! We loved our entire crew and our guide was amazing. The food was delicious, exceeded expectations. We saw so many animals because we stayed on the boat! Definitely hot and buggy, but worth it for our incredible experience!!

A simple, convenient option! Nothing special, but made our early morning journey doable! Also, I got the in room massage after my flight and it was reasonably priced and a great quality!

This was another great experience for us. The guides were incredibly eager to help make our experience the best it could be. Note: the biking is not great for beginners, it helps to be comfortable on a bike! The lunch at the waterfall and canyon was beautiful! We loved getting to enjoy dessert in their home. That was really special to be able to learn about their culture and way of life. I also loved being able to make my own offering basket!

Wow! This was a highlight for me. I loved the organization that we got to work with in this day. Our guide Ojan (I think?) was so sweet and knowledgeable about all of the plants. Loved that this truly felt off the beaten path, we hardly saw anyone else except for the people living in the village. Really great lunch we are in the forest, and a lovely canoe ride. The trek was really fun through the jungle.

This was a really special cultural experience!! Our guide was great at the ceremony and the entire morning was amazing! I'm so grateful we got to experience this 💛

So fun to go to the feeding stations! Deka, our guide, was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the wildlife, the culture, and we really enjoyed getting to know him. Yuni was the best cook, every single meal was so delicious!! Our boat was clean and had everything we needed! It even had a flush toilet and a shower! The wildlife we got to see were truly amazing. 5 different kinds of primates and countless birds!! Deka was amazing in helping us identify the species for our species count 😊
