Chitwan Boat Safari, Chitwan National Park

The vessel for this particular tour is a traditional long boat that carries passengers to Tiger Tops Tharu Lodge, a rustic jungle hideaway and an ideal spot for some R&R. But make no mistake—the boat ride to the lodge is where you'll witness the most incredible sights. 

This river safari is a great opportunity for bird watching, and beyond that, you're guaranteed to see at least a few other exotic animals, including crocodiles, rhinos, and quite possibly even tigers. The boat arrives at Tiger Tops around lunchtime, and visitors will have the rest of the day to unwind and enjoy views that run all the way to the farms and wetlands at the edge of the park.
