How did you get involved in travel?

"Born and brought up in Scotland and enjoying family holidays as a child, I soon got itchy feet and craved independence and my own adventures. As soon as I earned my first pay packet my priority in life quickly became where and when I was going on holiday! Holidays in Europe turned into summers in Ibiza, which led on to backpacking around Asia and Australasia. I worked, saved and travelled! My jobs were mostly unfulfilling to fund my travels until I decided to turn my passion for travel into my career and I joined a London based travel agency. I was so happy to have finally found a job that I loved, in an industry that encouraged travelling!"

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"Over the years I’ve had many unforgettable travel experiences, so narrowing it down to one is challenging! However one of my most recent memorable experiences was here in Wales, watching the summer solstice sunrise from the summit of Mount Snowdon. Starting the walk up the mountain at midnight by torchlight, the sky was constantly changing as we ascended, and as dawn started to break the cloud formations were alight with breath taking colours, the horizon glowing with the sunrise shades of yellow, orange, pink, purple and blue, this colour palette combined with the spectacular views across the Snowdonia mountains have made this experience one I will never forget!"
