Emmanuelle COLLOT
Born and raised near Lyon, France, I have always been passionate about travel, whether exploring places just a stone’s throw from home or discovering destinations on the other side of the world. I love sharing my local knowledge and helping travellers from all over the world experience authentic places.
I was lucky enough to grow up in a family that placed great importance on active, culinary and authentic ways of discovering new territories. This gave me a lifelong appreciation for the magic of exploring new places and creating meaningful experiences.
Today, as a travel designer with over 20 years of experience, I find great joy in creating tailor-made journeys for others, and I would be delighted to help you plan your next vacation in Europe!

How did you get involved in travel?
"My first training experience in high school (when I was 15) was in a travel agency. I already knew at that time that I wanted to work behind the scenes in the tourism industry!
After my studies, I was lucky enough to combine work and travel across Europe: working for the French Tourist Board in Austria and Eastern Europe, spending time as an au pair in Scotland, taking language lessons in Italy and enjoy La Dolce Vita... That's when my journey in tourism began!
And today, I try to share my passion for sustainable travel with my three children, aged 9, 11 and 15."

"I remember a day trip on an icebreaker during one of my trips to Lapland, Finland. The sound of the ice breaking under the weight of the ship was amazing, and the blue colour of the ice contrasting with the very dark water around it was so impressive. Wearing a survival suit during a break to swim and float among pieces of ice behind the ship was such a memorable experience!"
