Gabriela Lobato
I am a Chile travel specialist at Responsible Travel S.A., a Travelife Certified and TourCert certified tour operator, and a participant of the UN Global Compact. Based in Viña del Mar, I enjoy creating tailor-made journeys throughout Chile, from the vineyards of Casablanca Valley and the coastal cities of Valparaíso and Viña del Mar to the Atacama Desert, Patagonia, Easter Island, and the Lakes District.
I am passionate about connecting travelers with the landscapes, culture, food, and people that make Chile so special. Whether it is exploring wine country, discovering the beauty of Patagonia, experiencing the unique culture of Rapa Nui, or enjoying outdoor adventures in the south, I love creating authentic and memorable journeys designed around each traveler.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"I specialize in tailor-made journeys throughout Chile, including Viña del Mar, Valparaíso, Casablanca Valley, Atacama, Patagonia, Easter Island, Pucón, and the Lakes District. My expertise includes wine and gastronomy, nature and wildlife, hiking and outdoor adventures, cultural experiences, coastal escapes, and sustainable tourism."
How did you get involved in travel?
"My journey in tourism began through my passion for discovering new places and learning about different cultures. I started working with international travelers and quickly discovered how much I enjoyed helping people create meaningful travel experiences. Over time, I began specializing in tailor-made journeys across Chile, with a focus on authentic experiences and sustainable tourism."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"One of my most unforgettable travel experiences was spending a day exploring the vineyards of Casablanca Valley, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and learning more about the people and traditions behind Chilean wine. Sharing a meal with local producers and seeing how carefully they work with the land made the experience especially meaningful. It reminded me that some of the most memorable journeys come from connecting with local communities, culture, and the places we visit in a responsible and sustainable way."
