Traveling is a #never-ending_experience! I come from the cultural hub of Athens with its UNESCO sacred rock of Acropolis and breathtaking Santorini with its spectacular Caldera views.

What I love in Athens is that everyone can walk around the pedestrian streets and visit a variety of cafes and restaurants. Athens is a city which never sleeps. Santorini has a majestic view with a wild beauty and you can taste unique local wine.

Traveling is not only the movement between distant locations but it's much more, an opportunity to learn different cultures, select memories and cross over new horizons. Also traveling is an escape from the daily routine and a chance to appreciate your life because exploring another place will give you a fresh appreciation for your hometown country and real life!

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"The places I specialize in are: Athens, Santorini, Corfu and Peloponnese.
As per activities, I specialize in food and gastronomy, guided tours , wine tasting and hiking."

How did you get involved in travel?

"Spending a lot of summers in Santorini, I met people who really love traveling and especially in my country. When I started traveling around Greece I realized how beautiful my country is and how many different places you can visit. After all my traveling experiences I realize that I would like to share my experience with people from all over the world. When they started asking me what places they can visit and how they can combine destinations I realize that this is what I like to do! I love when I help people to organise their traveling preferences and adjust them accordingly to their needs!"

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"I will never forget when I visit my best friend in Naxos! The locals were really friendly, we ate the famous potatoes of Naxos, the spicy Arseniko cheese and we had Kitron which is their local drink. The beaches were spectacular and the paths majestic. I am in love with this island!"

We had a fabulous trip in Greece thanks to all the coordination and expert guiding from the folks that kimkim ser up for us. Andreas was excellent for our all-day excursion to Delphi — very friendly and knowledgeable. The guide we had at the Delphi museum was also excellent.

The mythological tour with Vicky was very good—she has a background in archaeology and anthropology and was lively and funny. On such a hot day our younger travelers ran out of energy before we managed to see most of the Agora, but we managed to get the highlights of the Acropolis, and on our last day in Greece we returned to the museum of the Acropolis for a cooler and more detailed visit of the artifacts.

Our time in Naxos was relaxing and cooler after the heat and go-go-go of Athens. The beach hotel was perfect because it was both quiet and lovely. Our hike with Matina was a highlight because she was also very relaxed and able to respond to all our questions on the trail. We were lucky to visit an old Byzantine church when archaeologists were working the site and got to speak with them a bit about their work.

Santorini was next and the crew of our catamaran cruise was delightful. The captain engaged my mom in long conversation and the sights from the water were absolutely stunning. The only issue was that the pasta prepared for the group ran out before my niece could get some — and she eats very few things. It was mainly an issue with one family whose kids took giant portions, but the cook apologized and was seemed stunned to see that the item had vanished before everyone had a chance to sample it. We enjoyed the beach at Kamari and arranged an afternoon trip to Oía. We watched the US women win the World Cup title at an Irish Bar with an attentive staff, and that was fun.

Back at Athens for Laura & Claire’s departure we rented our car and headed for Corinth and the Peloponnese. Such a great choice! Nafpaktos was charming and we especially enjoyed Dimitris’s recommendation for a restaurant there — Captain Cook. Adela and I swam in the sea and climbed to the fortress.

En route to Olympia we enjoyed the countryside and ended up at the wrong Amalia hotel, but we were able to correct in time for our tour with Antonia. She was my favorite guide of the trip—so attentive to our questions and my mom’s pace in the heat. Nafplio proved to be a charming place to spend three nights and at that leg of the journey we were glad not to be moving every day to a new spot. Ilias was an excellent guide as well—maybe surprised with our level of knowledge and interest in the history and happy to go deeper when we asked questions. Mycanae and Epidaurus are very interesting places.

The evening performance of Oedipus Rex was definitely a highlight for me—my mom and I reread the play the day before we saw it, and it sprang to life in the theater as I hoped it would—creating a mythical moment as we considered how Greeks in ancient times may have experienced the brilliance of Greek tragedy.

The kayaking outing was soooo beautiful and George & Nico were excellent guides. George in particular has a zest for life and sharing outdoor experiences that inspire and connect people with natural beauty. Our coordinator at Grecopaths was lovely — helping us pick up our laundry in town and gifting us homemade preserves. Wish we had had more time with her!

The travel back to Athens was smooth and arriving back on a Sunday with little to no traffic was a bonus. Our Pi Athens staff welcomed us back for the third time and Lampros took us to the airport the next day. He’s a gem — so attentive and professional.

You and your team organized a trip we’ll never forget. You’ve earned our trust and stellar recommendation to others. Honestly, my mom was hesitant to go with an agency we knew little about, but everyone had a great time. Thank you for being so responsive to our queries! It instilled a lot of confidence as we went from place to place that we were in good hands.

He was in touch with us throughout the trip as well, providing tips and suggestions , making sure everything was going as planned and problem solving as needed. Our trip was in two parts. The first part was just two of us traveling in the Peloponnese Peninsula with a car rental. The boutique hotels we stayed in were perfectly comfortable and friendly, with a lovely breakfast . The breakfast at the hotel in Napflio (Amymone and Andiande suites) included everything fresh from the owner's farm. In Mystra, ( Mazaraki Guest House) our breakfast was served in a basket delivered to our room so we could eat on our balcony overlooking the beautiful valley. All historical sites and tours with private guides were impressive and fascinating to say the least. We toured Olympia with our excellent guide Antonia , and Mycenae and Epidaurus with the knowledgeable guide Ilias. In Olympia we had a very charming meal at the Bacchus Inn which if we had more time we would have stayed there over night along with enjoying their hillside pool and excellent house wines. The food and wine everywhere was always outstanding especially the remarkable seaside village of Limeni where we feasted on FRESH seafood that was caught and grilled very near to our waterside table. Nafplio was also a wonderful seaside town with many outside dining spots and unlimited fun small boutiques. Another highlight was our visit to Monemvasia, which was an ancient island village on the Aegean sea, one of a kind, with soaring views of the turquoise blue water. Our auto rental was an Audi 3 which was perfect for the winding sometimes narrow Greek roads and on the perfectly engineered smooth highways.
The second part of our trip was returning to Athens to meet with our three adult children. Our welcome dinner at Mauro Provato ( Black Sheep) was excellent. We toured the remarkable Acropolis. It was extremely crowded. I had been there 38 years ago and at that time was on the rock with myself and a traveling companion and not another soul! Such a difference!! We visited the market place named Monestraki where the shopping was exciting and very worthwhile. We traveled on to the islands of Mykonos, Naxos and Santorini by high speed ferry. The ferries were a wonderful way to travel, very comfortable and fast! We enjoyed a "strawberry moon" festival in Mykonos, a wonderful hike with our brilliant guide Matina and a Greek night of dancing and plate smashing at the Flamingo on the water front in Naxos. On Santorini, we enjoyed the breathtaking views of the caldera, shopping, an ebike tour at sunset (with guide Dimitri) and a catamaran sunset cruise and barbecue, our favorite event . We sailed to three different beaches and could swim off the boat at each location. The cliffs and colors were amazing. Thanks to Harris and Kim Kim for helping us plan this wonderful journey.

I'm so bad with names, sorry. The accommodations were great, especially in Santorini and Athens. The lodging in Chania... I personally wouldn't recommend, but my husband liked it. :)

As for Harris and the Travel 12 Team - fantastic job as well. Harris was always so quick to respond and really understood the importance of good food and lodging that my husband described. He truly listened and was very helpful. And that "Welcome to Greece" dinner at Manh Manh was simply INCREDIBLE!!! We only wished we could have gotten back to that restaurant.

Thank you again for everything

We also didn't agree that the caged rabbits should be picked up by their ears, which the tour guide assured us was okay. We also didn't like seeing that the eight rabbits were in a small caged, all cramped together.

Other than this, the rest of the trip and the accommodations were great! Although the hotel in Athens was a typical, small European hotel, it was very close to Acropolis Hill and the major sites. The Mykronos hotel was great, other than the Air Conditioning didn't work well, so we had to open the windows at night. The staff at the Mykonos hotel was top notch!!! Lastly, the hotel in Santorini had a great view and nice hospitality, but would have been nice to been in one with a small pool, as many hotels beside us had.

Overall, a great trip!!!! Would definitely use Kimkim, again, as they were very easy to plan our trip, based on our wants/needs.

He skillfully planned an itinerary that was exactly what we were looking for. In our two week trip, we experienced city life, cliffs, beaches, mountains, beautiful waters and of course delicious food. We were able to visit Athens, Mykonos, Santorini and Crete and every single detail was taken care of every step of the way. From transportation, to hotels, to excursions, Harris meticulously arranged everything. All we had to do was show up. I cannot say enough about this service. Going to Greece was one of our top 3 bucket-list trips and we wanted it to be perfect. Harris did that for us in such a wonderful way. We did not have any stress on planning the trip, making bookings, ensuring times line-up for ferries, excursions, etc. All of the excursions that were booked also were so wonderful. Our walking tour and hidden gems tour in Santorini was spectacular. We could not have covered so many things in one day. Kostas, our guide took us to the best places all in one day. The sunset catamaran cruise was also so amazing. Getting to swim in the hot springs was also wonderful. In Crete, we visited two places, Heraklion and Chania, both wonderful places. We did a food tour to highlight the Cretan diet that was tasty and informative. We had a chance to sample home-made food with local ingredients. The botantical gardens tour in Chania was so beautiful and a wonderful way to spend the day, enjoying nature and of course great food. I also wanted to callout our driver in Athens, Lampros. He was so professional, timely and so helpful to us. Even on the way to the airport, he took us for one last sight-seeing adventure to a hilltop where we could see the city of Athens. It was a marvelous view!

This trip was simply an amazing experience. I cannot say enough about Harris and the wonderful service he provided. He was responsive throughout the planning process, advising and guiding us every step of the way. He took out all the stress of planning and coordinating this trip, allowing us to just come to the beautiful country of Greece and enjoy all the wonderful things it has to offer. We were delighted! Thank you Harris for such a wonderful trip!

Sincerely,
Namrata and Andy.

Napflio and Naxos stand out as the more interactive and fun destinations with a wide variety of things to see and be more spontaneously involved in. Athens, with its diverse historical sites and nightlife, was very engaging and we felt like we could have spent longer. Santorini was a little touristy, but we're glad we went. The caldera tour offset the commercial feel, and some of the smaller towns looked like good places to spend time away from the crowds.

I recently wrapped up an amazing trip to Greece that Kimkim out together for me. Harris and his team took care of every detail with precision and care. Travelling by myself, it was especially meaningful to feel so taken care of and looked after. The team checked in after each excursion to ensure my satisfaction, handled cancellations due to bad weather, and ensured that my trip went effortlessly. The hotels, the excursions, the transfers; all exceeded my expectations! I will definitely be using Kimkim again and will recommend them whole heartedly to any of my travelling friends. Thank you!

We were met by a driver, Lampros, at the Athens airport, and delivered to our hotel for the night. It was a short walk to pick up the rental car the next morning. Our local guide, Ilias, took us to four sites: Corinth, Epidaurus, Mycenae and Olympia. The sites were great choices, giving us some variety in site ages and styles. Ilias is a fount of information, easy to understand, and worked very hard to tailor his information to our interests. The hotels Harris booked were nicer than I would have chosen, and several of them were really special. One brought a fabulous breakfast basket to our room, one upgraded us to an ocean-front room with balcony, and one changed our room to a lower floor to accommodate our mobility issues. As a nice lagniappe, Harris provided us with a local SIM card to use in our iPhone during our stay.
