What places and activities do you specialize in?

"I specialize in tailor-made trips to Lima, Cusco, Arequipa, Puno, and the Peruvian Amazon, among other destinations. Key activities include unique experiences such as picnics in the desert and the Sacred Valley, horseback riding in the Sacred Valley, immersive stays with local communities, and more."

How did you get involved in travel?

"From a young age, I was used to traveling frequently to visit my family, which sparked in me the desire to discover many more cities and the cultural richness and diversity of each one. That is why I studied and graduated in Tourism and Hospitality Management."

"I will never forget when I did the hike to Machu Picchu Mountain. There came a point when I thought I wouldn’t make it, I didn’t want to see another staircase! but the guide encouraged me to keep going, and reaching the summit and taking in that view was incredible!"

I would have given five stars but there was some misunderstanding either on my part or the travel agents causing a rather large expense on my choice of a hotel in Cusco. I wish communication had been a little bit better but that being said, Hilda was great she found a retreat that was not only very safe, caring and conscientious but has now actually become a place that I will be returning to this December for a large family celebration. I could not have done it without his help and guidance Read more

the hotel is outrageously expensive. I like nice things but felt that $2700 a night for a room was a waste of money. it was beautiful and the service was top of the line

In general, the communication during planning and booking was less thorough than other KimKim trips we've done in the past to other destinations. Details were sometimes confusing, requiring a back-and-forth, and the initial itemized booking confirmations were missing details we had to ask for. That said, the plans themselves were wonderful, and we had a great trip! Our guides were thorough and patient with moving at the speed of our kids. In general, the communication during planning and booking was less thorough than other KimKim trips we've done in the past to other destinations. Details were sometimes confusing, requiring a back-and-forth, and the initial itemized booking confirmations were missing details we had to ask for. That said, the plans themselves were wonderful, and we had a great trip! Our guides were thorough and patient with moving at the speed of our kids. The accommodations were great (even though we did not get our original first choice of jungle lodgings). There was a last-minute change and some confusion regarding our guide at Machu Picchu. It worked out fine, but there was no proactive phone communication from our specialist or guide, so we were confused for a little while during a moment of transfer with long lines.

Again, though, it was an excellent trip. Highlights: river rafting, La Casona de Yucay, Tambopata National Reserve.
