My trip to Peru was absolutely incredible, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing guides — **Blanca, Jesus, and Julio**. From start to finish, they made every moment special, meaningful, and stress-free.

Blanca was wonderfully knowledgeable and warm, sharing fascinating insights about Lima's history, culture, and traditions in a way that really brought it to life. Jesus was wonderful and made the trip to Arequipa a memorable one.
Julio was always attentive and upbeat — and went above and beyond the call of duty. His enthusiasm was contagious and made even the long drives fun! And we could all just relax and enjoy every experience.

Whether we were exploring the awe-inspiring ruins of Machu Picchu, wandering through colorful local markets, or tasting delicious Peruvian food, I always felt well cared for and truly immersed in the spirit of Peru. The combination of professionalism, kindness, and genuine passion these guides showed made this trip unforgettable.

My room was absolutely unforgettable. I wish I had arrived during the day just to take in the breathtaking view — the river flowed right below my window, and across it rose a sheer granite cliff. Falling asleep to the sound of the rushing water was pure magic. I had the best night’s sleep of my life!

Liz Karen, from the start, was wonderful at helping us plan our trip. It started out with just information gathering for two, to a well planned down to every detail trip for 8. Her speedy response to our questions, her suggestions for where to stay and what to do, her scheduling of planes, vans and boats to get us around the country were perfect. Lizbeth was our trip contact if we had any questions while we were in Peru and she never let us down!
The Pacaya Samiria Lodge on the Amazon was a unique experience and may not be for everyone (no hot water, limited electricity) but we all LOVED it. Daniel, our guide, took us hiking in the forest, swimming IN the Amazon, fishing for piranha's, seeing: pink dolphins, owl monkeys, black collared hawks, egrets, an anaconda, toucans, three other types monkeys, too many birds to list, and so much more. Meeting the locals and seeing the sun set over the Amazon…I could just go on and on. The Sacred Valley portion was guided by Natalie and again more experiences that were beyond our imaginations. Lovely farm to table lunch that was prearranged. The traditional Pachmanca in Ollantaytambo was delicious.
The hotel, Aranwa, was fabulous!
I would recommend a day there just to relax in the middle of your journey. Off to Machu Picchu, the bucket list item on the trip, and another great guide, Jacquelyn, friendly hotel and great restaurants to be found.
Cusco! Natalie, once again, showed us the sites and did not disappoint. Foodies will love this town. Mother Earth changed our trip to the Rainbow mountain area into a lovely day with the locals in the snow. Our guide, Yari did her best to show us the unique terrain, animals, and ancient ruins. Over all this was a trip we will talk about for ever!

Activities were great, pace was busy but had just the right amount of downtime built in, culturally interesting and physically challenging in a good way. They delivered what we asked for.

Guides were incredible! Makes a difference.

When there were regular travel questions or hiccups Kristy answered the phone each time.

This is my fourth KimKim trip and won’t be my last. Highly recommend the Peru team!

Fast 10 hours given meals (very good food), entertainment, scenery and just a chance to take a breather.

This was the trip of a lifetime. We initially were planning to go to Peru, however, due to some issues over there we were able to quickly re-route to Chile - with outstanding support from KimKim. They always put us at ease and ensure we have seamless travel. The trip itself was planned to perfection and we now have memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. As always, KimKim rocks!

Fantastic vacation. Highlight was that the guides were professional, knowledgeable, flexible and perfectly match to our interests. Everyone exceeded our expectations. All tours were "personal" where my wife and I had a guide.

Disappointed on this one. We though we were booked at Las Brisas North, the main hotel in the heart of the old town area. The photo is from that hotel. Instead we were booked in the Las Brisas South hotel which is on the outskirts of town in an affluent neighborhood. This made is difficult to do anything with our free time except eat at the fancy restaunts (we planned on seeing museums missed on our tour).

Tourist hotel. Well organized money-making factory. Our package included a dinner which was fast, but boring plus they charged outragous amounts for the beverages that were not included. Appropriate for a bus tour groups, but not people who want the small group experience.

Hotel of former glory. Fun experience. The 1920's rooms felt like you were in the movie "The Shining". Bar was a highlight and was packed with Peruvians having a drink after work. In the heart of the old town, so everything is walking distance.

Pachamanca: Traditional Andean Underground Cooking

This experience was misleading. It was a fancy restaurant with a traditional cooking method. I thought we would be in a village with guinea pigs running around. Also, they had their own coffee roaster and whiskey distillery which was good for getting gifts, but made the experience feel completely modern. Owner was fantastic and personable guy, so I wish him success. Food good. Just rephrase the description
