It is impossible for me to imagine living somewhere else than Peru! Peruvian delicious food, unique culture and fascinating history are part of me! And as a good cusqueñian, I am very proud to have the blood of Incas running through my veins!

I have lived and worked in the USA and made many friends there. Before that having worked on cruise ships in the past, gave me the opportunity to visit many places around the world too!

I traveled all around Peru from North to South and fall in love with it more and more, so I decided to settle in Cusco, my birthplace.

With all these life experiences I know the importance of quality services. I have discovered my passion for traveling and love helping others find their perfect journey. I love to not design trips but to awaken the passion for my homeland, by experiencing and living Peru and making sure you feel it the same way I did when I traveled through it.

How did you get involved in travel?

"I started working at a young age in tourism while I was finalizing the university. I felt fascinated with all the stories my clients shared about their trips, and I wished to go abroad, so I decided to work and travel around the world! I didn’t hesitate when I had the chance to work on a cruise ship! After this amazing experience, I had this unique opportunity to work in the USA and went happily. There I made many friends and enjoyed my time. At my return from all my travels, I felt I needed to visit my homeland so I did and just fall in love all over again with Peru. I decided to settle down here and now I am happy to be able to help others with perfect and unique customized trips!"

Machu Picchu in December: Travel Tips, Weather, and More

December is a strange month in Cusco and the Sacred Valley: both quiet (at the beginning of the month) and hectic (over Christmas and New Year). Then again, the famous Christmas and New Year festivities in Cusco pull in a lot of Peruvian visitors as well as a fair few from overseas, and one of the biggest handicrafts fairs anywhere in the Andes takes place in Cusco too.

13 Day Peru trip was FANTASTIC! · Peru - Oct 29 - Nov 10, 2019

Our 13 day trip to Peru was fabulous! This is the first time I have used any kind of travel service and I will use one again. The activities planned were exactly what we wanted, the multiple, multiple transfers were seamless, the guides were wonderful, and the entire experience was great.

Liz made all the arrangements and the few times that I had questions she was available to answer. A welcome surprise that she arranged for us was a cooking class. That is not something I would have done on my own and it was fun and the food was fantastic.

I highly recommend Kimkim and Liz!!!

Everything went like clockwork with our trip, no snags at all with all of the connections and transfers, etc. Our guides were all excellent and the recommended hotels were all excellent. We hope to return to Peru someday and will definitely be contacting Kimkim for our next trip.

Oscar was an outstanding guide for four days. Our itinerary originally included an early morning horseback ride to Rainbow Mountain. We just weren’t up for it mentally or physically and tried to get in touch with our KimKim representative by email but we’re unsuccessful. We did not realize that because it was a Sunday we needed to call. That should have been made clear to us.

Otherwise, all was great!

Overall, it was a great experience.
I was particularly grateful for our guide Oscar, and regret that he was not our guide at Machu Puchu.
I now know that I would need 2 full days in Cusco BEFORE rainbow mountain and would plan more down time for recovery between tours. The schedule was too aggressive for me and my needs.

The overall experience is ok,but I wonder if something urgent happens and I need some help, who should I turn to? There were several times I failed to contact the travel agent and when I turned to Kimkim I find the contact person and number is the same number I have and have failed to get in touch.Besides the quality of some local guides needs improving. Everyone seems to tell his own stories. We don’t know who to believe.
Thank you!

Kimkim did a great job organizing an amazing Peru experience for my family of five and our extended family. Everyone made their connections and got to experience the portion they chose without having to stress over the details. Thank you all!
