What places and activities do you specialize in?

"I specialize in trail running, hiking, trekking and biking in Iceland, Greenland and Faroe Islands. I am the only running guide and running consultant in Greenland and Faroe Islands. I have specialized in hiking and trekking tours since 2003 and trail running tours since 2011. I do a lot of mountain biking as well. "

How did you get involved in travel?

"I grew up in the countryside and was always out and about. I started working as a trekking and backpacking guide in 2003 and every year since, adding specialities such as glacier guiding and running trips to the list. "

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"I will never forget the 6 day trail running and sailboat adventure in Hornstrandir nature reserve in Iceland. Hornstrandir has been uninhabited for more than 60 years and which has allowed the wilderness to flourish. There are no roads, so the sailboat seems like the perfect way to access the area, along with running the trails. Sandy beaches, lush vegetation, bird cliffs, fjords, mountains and valley and more is what this area offers. This is the land of the arctic fox, where it lives wild and the only area in Iceland where it is fully protected. This is also where two of the largest bird cliffs in Iceland can be found and so the wildlife this heavenly place offers is very unique. So we run between fjords and use the sailboat as our movable backcountry hut. Further read here: http://www.thuletrails.com/runningblog/2016/9/26/running-in-iceland-with-rob-krar"

Thank you for connecting us with Inga. She planned every detail perfectly including the weather. The trekking was incredible!

Inga was patient, kind and very knowledgeable. And she was quite an inspiration to my daughter and niece. To top it all off the food was fantastic and exceeded all our expectations.
