Lily Ainslie

Originally from the UK and now living in France, I have had the pleasure of exploring these two magnificent countries extensively. From idyllic Alpine landscapes to bustling streets of Edinburgh, I’ve seen it all! Having been fortunate enough to have such fantastic travel experiences, I find great satisfaction in working with others to create their own unforgettable adventures.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"Places

Born and raised in the UK, I specialise in travel experiences covering England, Scotland, and Wales. I especially love organising multi-destination trips that showcase the very best these countries have to offer! I now reside in France and have gradually grown familiar with its charming quirks and hidden gems. I plan trips throughout the region, with a special focus on my adopted hometown of Paris.

Activities

Equally at home on a mountain trail as I am in a humming metropolis, my favourite trips to organise are outdoor adventures and city breaks. Think cycling through vineyards, visiting world-renowned museums, surfing pristine beaches, or touring vibrant food markets - anything is possible!
"

How did you get involved in travel?

"I’ve spent my whole life living in sought-after tourist destinations, including the Isle of Wight, Oxford, Cambridge, and Paris. It’s therefore no surprise that I ended up working in the industry! I started out on market stalls and in punting companies, and have since worked my way up to organising international trip-of-a-lifetimes."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"My month-long tour through Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan completely blew me away. I really enjoy experimenting with different modes of transport and this trip had it all: hitchhiking, horse trekking, marshrutkas (shared minibuses), and soviet-era trains. I also loved the constant surprises of breathtaking sights and scenery, most of which I hadn’t seen so much as a photo of beforehand."

Wow! This hotel is amazing! It sits on a beautiful property that overlooks Loch Lomond! It’s also a castle! The staff were exceptional, and very friendly. The restaurants on the property were great! The smaller tours were better than the large bus tour. Luke, our food guy tour was fantastic as well as our pub tour guide. We enjoyed the trip to Stonehenge with the smaller tour company.
