I believe that those of us who love to travel tend to have a more open mind and free spirit. Being open to experience new adventures, explore the unknown, see the beauty in the simple things, taste unique foods, connect with the local culture, and in the process, become a more round individual.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"I specialize in preparing customized travel plans to visit Chile from north to south, including Easter Island and Antarctica. I also combine Chile with neighboring countries Argentina, Bolivia, and Peru.
All my trip offers are tailor made based on the profile of the client, I listen and offer suggestions. I am flexible to accommodate different budgets but always ensure quality first, as well as assistance throughout the trip."
How did you get involved in travel?
"Nature has always attracted me for the peace it brings about. It fills my heart and soul. I have been to North, Central, and South America, most of Europe, and still have a lot of places on my bucket list, hopefully Asia is next, followed by Australia and Africa.
I was born and raised in Chile and have lived both in Spain and USA. "
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"Being in an exclusive (but rather affordable!) cruise that travels the remote area from Punta Arenas at the very south of Chile, through fjords and glaciers, the legendary Cape Horn, and arrives in Ushuaia, Argentina. We had daily land expeditions, enjoyed amazing food, and explored an area that is completely virgin, with zero communication with the world, nothing to keep your mind busy except the beauty of the scenery. It just fills you up."

Chile from every angle · Chile - May 17 - May 27, 2022
Cannot give enough thanks to Lorena, she was continuously available both during the trip and for months before. There was no day where she did not get back to us when we had questions or concerns, which made our first trip to South America much more smooth. She has many contacts to connect you with in the area and knows what she is doing. Trust her and her group entirely to plan your trip.
All tours and activities were authentic and had locals and experts guiding them. Each of these... read more

Lorena developed an amazing itinerary that allowed us to experience as much as possible during our time in Chile. Beginning our trip at Gloria and Leo's home for an amazing dinner, ambience, and conversation was the perfect welcome. Our tour guide Felipe was a wealth of knowledge about the area, the history, and social issues impacting the country, which greatly added to our experience. We spent a day seeing the beautiful sights of Santiago and experiencing a signature Chilean completo for... read more

We just got back from a week in Chile and could not have done it without Lorena! She was there every step of the way - helping curate the itinerary, updating us on covid protocols and requirements, answering any and all questions and so much more! Best trip ever thanks to this marvelous team !!!!! · Chile - Mar 10 - Mar 20, 2022
Let's start by saying that due to Covid restrictions we could not go to Easter Island. But instead our wonderful local specialist Lorena had us travel to the Lakes region, which we would have never thought of it. It was a beautiful part of Chile where we got to tour lakes and towns around them, up to a volcano. It turned out to be even better thanks to Lorena!! We then toured the south, where we were booked in very nice hotels and tours.

Lorena understood our travel priorities (more outdoor-oriented) and was very helpful in organizing and navigating the Chilean requirements for travel (Mevacuno) and local testing for return to US. The accommodations and internal travel/transfer options were well laid out. Lorena took extra care to accommodate some late changes and was responsive to all our queries and concerns throughout our travel, including making local flight reservations. Would highly recommend her as your travel... read more

We have never had a travel advisor like Loreena with KimKim. We had many issues with government forms and procedures and Lorenna went way beyond the call of duty for us. Her itinerary for our trip to Chile belongs in the travel hall of fame. 10 stars for her and Kimkim.

Chilean tour experience by the Aiellos · Chile - Jan 14 - Jan 29, 2022
Our city guide Philllippe was knowlegable, informative and was always there to help with any local questions we had. Fernando, our Andes mountain guide, was very knowledgeable about the mountain however the tour we received (5k trek and hot springs) was not the tour written in the itinerary. Leo, our Santiago driver, was great in understanding all of our city activities. The meal at his home with his wife Gloria was a wonderful experience. Jose provided a well guided tour through Maipo... read more
Introduction to Argentina Tierra del Fuego and Patagonia · Chile - Jan 10 - Jan 20, 2022
It took a couple of years to organize this trip because of the pandemic. Serena and Lorena put together an excellent ten day itinerary that introduced us to Argentina Tierra del Fuego and Patagonia.
We spent three night in Ushuaia. This was sufficient time to tour the town and vicinity, visit the prison museum, tour the National Park, cruise the channel and experience the penquins on Martillo Island, and tour the Haberton Ranch.
We spent four nights in El Calafate which was plenty of time... read more

I was totally blown away with the service I received from Lorena, she had booked a pre and post cruise plan that was excellent. When the cruise cancelled she got right on making plans to fill in the days, basically she saved the trip and turned it into an excellent adventure last minute. She went above and beyond not only making hotel reservations but everywhere we went a driver was waiting to pick us up and deliver us to our hotel. All tickets and passes were waiting, with never a glitch.... read more

Chile is a wonderful country and we will likely go back there soon. While we enjoyed the trip very much, there were quite a few short comings. I would have planned the trip a lot better myself. Chile is extremely strict on Covid protocols. We appreciate the strictness and made us extremely safe traveling to the country.
