Luke Beattie

As a travel executive, I bring a forward-thinking perspective to how people experience the world. I approach travel as a balance of efficiency, authenticity, and innovation, ensuring every journey is purposeful and well-designed. My focus is on creating smart, human-centered travel solutions that inspire confidence, connection, and long-term value.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"As a dedicated foodie, I seek out everything from hidden local eateries and regional specialities to chef-led experiences and food markets that tell the story of a place. As a sports enthusiast, I enjoy designing trips around live sporting and music events, stadium access, and active experiences that allow travellers to engage with the UK’s sporting and music culture. Alongside this, I pride myself on uncovering unique, offbeat experiences across the UK—whether that’s unusual cultural traditions, or immersive activities that offer a fresh perspective on familiar destinations—creating travel that feels personal, memorable, and distinctive. "

How did you get involved in travel?

"I was introduced to travel at an early age, spoiled by frequent family trips across Europe and the United States that sparked a deep curiosity for the world. Those early experiences shaped my appreciation for different cultures, perspectives, and ways of moving through them. That curiosity later deepened through two formative travel experiences in Southeast Asia, where immersive journeys and diverse environments broadened my outlook and solidified travel as both a personal passion and professional path."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"One travel experience I will never forget is my first week in Asia. From the moment I arrived, I was immersed in a completely different way of life—one that felt vibrant, layered, and deeply rooted in tradition. Every day brought new cultural encounters, from observing local rituals to navigating bustling streets filled with energy and movement. As a passionate foodie, the experience was made even more memorable through the food: sharing meals at street stalls, discovering unfamiliar flavors, and learning how cuisine reflects history, community, and identity. That first week reshaped how I see travel—not just as a journey, but as a way to truly connect with people and culture."
