Hi, I am Marta. I was born and raised in Italy, in the area of the stunning and unique Venice. I have been working in tourism for many years and when I am not working...I travel! I love all the wonders the world has to offer, but the Country that runs through my veins is Italy, and to the people who decide to visit it, I want to give the same excitement that I feel when a travel experience takes my breath away.
I’m also a tour leader and a travel assistant. Moreover, I have some experience in teaching Italian as a foreign language, because I am proud to do my part in spreading Italian culture and the beauty of our language.

How did you get involved in travel?

"I graduated in tourism, then I worked for many years in a major Italian outgoing travel company. Thanks to that, I got the chance to work in many countries and connect with partners from all over the world. After many years dedicated to helping Italians discover the beauties of the world, I felt the desire to reverse course and give back the welcome I had abroad by helping those who would like to come and meet this amazing, tasty, noisy, quiet, modern, traditional, crazy country called Italy!"

"I will never forget all the people I met because they are the ones who made my travels, anyway nature always plays its role too, so my unforgettable experience was when during a safari in the Kruger National Park in South Africa we came face to face with a roaring lion."

Marta, our travel specialist was awesome. She gave great advice and responded quickly. Marta was an absolute pleasure. The excursions were wonderful and a lot of fun. The hotels were gorgeous and accommodating in Florence and Venice. The hotel in Rome, Boutique Hotel Campo de’Fiori, was ok. We did get the apartment as our room, which was nice, however we had to climb three flights of stairs and did not get any help from the hotel. It was supposed to be an apartment on the first floor. ... Read more

The hotels were gorgeous and accommodating in Florence and Venice. The hotel in Rome, Boutique Hotel Campo de’Fiori, was ok. With that said the location was right in the heart of a lot of restaurants, daily open market and close to everything.
Our tour guide for the coliseum in Rome was AWESOME! I did not get his name, but he was very knowledgeable and knew all the right places to take us for breathtaking views. He was very passionate about his job.
Our tour guide for the walkie foodie tour was also AWESOME! Next time I will do a foodie tour first thing so I know how to spot authentic Italian food! I highly recommend Goumetaly for any foodie tour!
Tania, our tour guide for Cinque Terre, she was AWESOME as well! She took her time and was very knowledgeable about the villages we visited. We had lunch at il Baretto and the food was delicious and plentiful! There was a problem with the train running more than an hour late to take us back to the town where the car was parked. Tania and her team were on top of the situation and had a taxi pick us up and take us to the car to keep on schedule.
I greatly appreciated the local assistant in Venice. Navigating Venice for the first time would not have been easy on our own!

We had a driver (he didn't speak english) it was a little confusing in the beginning but we figured it out. We upgraded our expereince to a small group guide instead of the head phone self guided tour. And we are glad we did!!! Pompeii is enormous and it was a wonderful experience with the tour guide.

Our Captain, Marco was fantastic! He was kind and knowledgeable about all the sites you can only see from the water. He told us of many different things we could chooses from on Capri for the 3 hours we were there.
