Yesenia Tizon

Born and raised in Lima, Peru, I migrated to the US in the 1980s and spent the 90s working for United Airlines. Today, I serve as the Head of Operations at Miski, where my role is to ensure that every trip is as smooth as possible. I approach travel by always thinking one step ahead, anticipating needs to deliver exceptional experiences.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"I specialize in all things Peru and Argentina. I stay on top of the latest travel updates, from new restaurants and hotels to emerging trendy destinations. Both countries have so much to offer, and I love introducing travelers to hidden gems they may not have discovered yet."

How did you get involved in travel?

"My passion for travel ignited during my time with United Airlines, where the perk of free travel allowed me to explore countless destinations. I eagerly took advantage of this opportunity, always making sure to return to Peru to visit family and friends and stay connected to my roots. This experience gave me the travel bug and fueled my love for exploring the world."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"One of my most unforgettable experiences was my trip to Morocco, expertly planned by a kimkim specialist who focuses on the region. The vibrant culture was unlike anything I had encountered before and truly opened my eyes to a new world. Sharing this adventure with my daughter made it all the more special."
